Lindsay Hurtt makes it her goal to develop a safe, accepting, and supportive therapeutic relationship that provides the foundation for change. Her unique blend of art therapy and psychotherapy helps her clients access and express emotions that sometimes escape words and the more «cognitive» approaches. She assures her clients that you don’t have to be an artist or have artistic skill to experience the healing benefits of creativity. Simply a willingness to explore deeper aspects of the human psyche to discover and understand personal truth, as she believes this is the path to freedom and a more joyful life. Her vast experience and education in psychotherapy and art therapy has helped many patients:
Attaining a better understanding of self
Develop skills for improving relationships
Finding resolution to the issues or concerns that led you to seek therapy
Learning new ways to cope with stress to name a few!
