Description

Specialties

Alexander Technique has been proven to be an effective method for the prevention of chronic injury and fatigue. A recent study in the UK found it to be the most cost effective way of recovering from back pain.

Lessons are taught one-on-one, and last 50 minutes. I would be able to show ways of moving, carrying and sitting that use less tension. It can also be applied to sports, instrument playing, and computer use.

History

Established in 1998.

For the past 12 years I have been teaching the Alexander Technique to a wide variety of musicians, public speakers, singers, actors, athletes and many many people afflicted with pain through computer use.

I started teaching the Alexander Technique because I was able to apply it and start playing the violin professionally after a 15 year period in which I couldn’t play because of tendonitis.
