We have a small SF kitchen that we were looking to re-​design to maximize space without sacrificing aesthetic. We hired Joanne and couldn’t have been more pleased with her design. Her approach is to work in partnership each step of the design process to ensure we were comfortable with each design decision. We were impressed with her deep expertise and professionalism. She really knows her stuff and has tremendous passion for her work.

Joanne is an extremely capable bathroom/​kitchen designer. Joanne took on the very difficult job of fitting our complete master bath in a small space. She was able to transform our bathroom from a 1 sink nightmare to a space with a counter with two sinks. She had to redesign the layout of the shower and bathtub, recommend products and vendors, and helped identify 3 contractors to get bids from, one of which we used. Our bathroom project was extremely challenging and it took a person who pays attention to small details and who has a deep knowledge in bathroom design. She always followed through with our requests, she kept us on track with the project and was pleasant to work with.
We would recommend her highly for any kitchen or bathroom design needs you have. She is up to the challenge for figuring out how to get the most of any space!

I used Joanne to help with the design of a bathroom remodel. This was an extensive and complex project that involved replacing two small back-​to-​back bathrooms with a new bathroom twice the size of what was there before. I had 4 – 5 concept designs in mind when I first contacted Joanne and she produced drawings for all of my various ideas. We worked through each concept with the result that we took the best of each to produce the final result. I selected manyof the fixtures and fittings I wanted to use and sent URLs to Joanne and she researched each and every product to ensure it would work in the space. However, if she thought another product would work better she did not hesitate to make her views known. Once we had the plans completed Joanne was extremely helpful recommending tile, lighting, lighting controls and other areas of the project. She carefully thought through the placement of every single item in the room down to the fraction of an inch. The contractor really appreciated her attention to detail and he loved the 3-​D drawings she produced.
I like that Joanne has strong views on what will work and what might not be successful. We had a collaborative relationship where we would bounce ideas off oneanother with the result that the design evolved and constantly improved. I enjoyed working with her, I’m very happy with how everything turned out and I highly recommend Joanne.

Joanne worked with us on our kitchen remodel. Her layout fit our small space perfectly and she had all kinds of welcome suggestions for products, vendors, appliances, etc. She offered great guidance, thoughtful opinions, listened well and was always fun to have around. We’d definitely work with her again.

From the very beginning of my kitchen redesign project, Joanne asked the right questions and gave us the confidence that we would get an end result that would meet our needs and be the kitchen that we wanted. We did a major remodel that required complete demolition of our existing kitchen. She researched every issue and offered guidance on everything from where to shop for flooring, plumbing fixtures and cabinets and hardware to what questions to ask contractors and how to evaluate their proposals. She designed a kitchen that exceeded all our requirements, is beautiful and practical, and after more than a year of cooking and spending a lot of time in it, I can’t think of a single thing that I would do differently.
Throughout the entire project, she continued to provide the assistance we needed and wanted, offering her expertise and advice, as well as ideas for our consideration. She worked with the vendors and contractor, as needed, to ensure that everything was done correctly. I appreciated that she gave us realistic guidance about the project budget which helped us make appropriate decisions so we ended up with a kitchen we could both love and afford.
I would gladly recommend Joanne to anyone who needs a designer for a kitchen or bath project and I would absolutely use her services again.

Joanne is like a walking encyclopedia on all matters bathroom design. I was grateful to have her guiding me through the process of designing a new counter and cabinets for the bath, a process I discovered was detailed to the nth degree.
I couldn’t have handled this without her expert guidance. An added benefit is that she knows how to get the best deals because of her skills and talent with online research.

Joanne designed our kitchen and tiny home office, and we cannot imagine how they would have turned out without her. Both rooms were challenging, yet Joanne produced highly functional, practical, aesthetically pleasing designs that solved all our problems and met all our needs. She has great ideas and is extremely knowledgeable. She also provided extra research and information to us at no charge, and through her we found an amazing contractor as well as a host of suppliers. She saved us a great deal of time, money, and aggravation.
