The owner Martin Brookes has over 30 years experience in tile and masonry. He studied at Chesterfield College of Technology in the U. K for 4 years receiving a City and Guilds in Masonry and Construction Management. He has passed on his knowledge to his employees who have worked with him for many years.

Martin and his crew (Gabriel and Santiago) recently finished ripping out and replacing our bathroom shower after the previous contractor did such a bad job that we weren’t even able to use the shower. All I can do is echo comments made by others: «amazing,» «kind,» «professional.»
I would like to add «patient,» «meticulous,» and «conscientious» to the list of accolades. Those adjectives apply not only to Martin but also Gabriel and Santiago.
Furthermore, Martin is prompt in returning phone calls and emails, not only while on-​the-​job but also once work has been completed and he has received full payment. I had questions unrelated to the work they performed and he was wonderfully responsive.
One final item regarding job estimates. I admit that when Martin initially bid on the job I chose to go with the cheaper guy. What this experience has taught me is that tiling materials (thinset, grout, spacers, caulk, etc.) have different price points and quality. Martin used the most expensive and best materials available. Something I really wish I had known to take into consideration when comparing bids.

Martin and his team are amazing!
They are confident in a kind and professional way. You can tell from a 2 min conversation that they know their trade and their work proves it!
We called Martin during construction of a bathroom remodel and he literally saved us from disaster! Long story short, he very kindly and professionally informed us how to change our steam shower so that it was built with materials and structurally that it would last forever and not do damage.
He returns phone calls promptly. He visits the job site to check in. He’s great!
He has a few teams of men that work for him and they are awesome! Super clean, very considerate of your life and living space. 110% trustworthy. Talented and skilled beyond belief and with no ego!

I just completed a major kitchen remodel and Heritage took care of my tile backsplash. I used a variegated marble tile and Martin’s guys did a great job of arranging the individual tile to create a beautiful range of greys and whites. I also really appreciated Martin’s advice re. grout. I was thinking about grey to make it easier to clean, but he recommended an off white and he was absolutely right. It looks gorgeous.

I am absolutely thrilled with the work that Martin and his crew at Heritage Marble and Tile performed for me. Due to a faulty installation by the builders of my condo, my original shower pan was cracked, leaking, and needed to be replaced. This wasn’t work that I had planned on having to have performed so I was a bit reluctant. Martin was sensitive to this matter and assisted in directing me towards a cost-​effective solution that would still be beautiful and add character to my bathroom. The guys that performed the work were friendly and respectful of my home and time. The end result is a beautiful new tile shower that makes me happy every time I look at it.
The biggest benefit of working with Martin was that he provided me with the information and details that I needed to convince my HOA that they were responsible for the costs of the repairs. Without his knowledge and recommendations I’m sure I would have been unsuccessful with that challenge.

I am super particular about contracted work. Martin is equally as critical. He gives great advice, and his work is second to none. The work that was done on my bathroom was spectacular. His rates are competitive, and he even saved me money in helping manage aspects of purchasing material and organizing labor for my remodel. His workers were trustworthy, fast, and they took great care to respect my home.
