Jetson S Lee, DDS, MSD

I was referred to this office by my dentist. I went for a consultation and was billed for a ‘procedure’ not authorized by me. I was not aware of this until about a year and a half later when I was ready to do my braces that I can not bill my insurance for that particular program as it was already been billed. I called last month and they said I signed for the authorization. I signed forms when I went in for consult and no one told me that this is going to be billed. The receptionist said she will research and get back to me. No call to date.

I first went to Dr. Lee’s office sometime in 1995 as a 3^rd grader with a wicked overbite and a slightly misaligned jaw and I left with a smile that would make Julia Roberts jealous.
I experienced the gamut of orthodontic goodness from regular braces to rubber bands to neck gear to a bite plate to retainers — Dr. Lee was great through it all. I always felt comfortable and he helped me build great habits, which I’ve kept to this day (I still wear my retainer nightly after more than 10 years!)
I can’t speak for other orthodontists, but I can say that Dr. Lee’s professionalism and bedside manner made the typical adolescent experience with braces nothing but a bad rumor. I can’t say enough about him — you owe it to yourself to at least drop by his office if you’re considering getting braces for yourself or for your child (ren).

I think that dr. lee is an okay orthodontist. However, he does not account changes from patient to patient. My teeth are straight but my upper and lower jaw are not aligned, it doesn’t cause pain, but now my jaw doesn’t feel normal when my teeth are right on top of each other. I don’t think he takes into account that moving the teeth also changes how the jaw will align when the teeth are in new positions. After being in the healthcare industry and learning more about bone reformation, braces, and head position, I realize that he could have made the process alot simpler. Some things he did in the braces régime just does not make much sense. I should have spoken up, but I trusted the orthodontist.
I think that straight teeth look great, but if its uncomfortable its more of a nuisance. Just like how senior’s dentures look like nice straight teeth, but they aren’t comfortable at all.
The orthodontist assistants are not very good. I don’t think they really care about their jobs. I don’t like how they don’t admit when they make a mistake. I can tell they’ve made a mistake because midway through my appointment, the lady working on my made a face, walked away, and started to whisper to the other worker. And I know what they did wrong too because I can run my tongue across my braces and feel it. I don’t know if they have the same people as when I was there, but i hope they don’t work there anymore.
The only good thing about this place is that dr. lee and all the staff are extremely nice. But nice doesn’t always mean skill.
I would not recommend this place unless you know what you want and have knowledge about how braces work. You really have yo tell him what your opinions are even if it goes against what he is prescribing.

We’ve only been going to Dr. Lee for about 5 months but I am really happy with our experience. No attitude at the reception area that you get at a lot of medical offices. Dr. Lee and staff are really nice and always communicate about what they are doing and what is expected. I went into this episode of needing orthodontics with dread but am really pleased so far!

Dr. Lee is my son’s orthodontist. My son has had only 1 set of braces and his teeth look great. Dr. Lee is very thorough and terrific at what he does. He is also nice and down to earth.

Nice, affordable, AND great work.
He has about a billion honor society-​etc certificates on the walls that show he was pretty much a stellar dental student, and more for his orthodontics studies.
The office staff is very nice and accommodating to busy schedules. The office itself isn’t super fancy, but who needs to be overcharged so the waiting room can be swish? Not me.
