Established in 1987.

Evelyn Herrera began her career as a tax professional with H&R Block in 1986. Evelyn honed her tax skills and is now a Registered Tax Return Preparer and properly licensed by CTEC (California Tax Education Council).

Our doors have been open since 1987 and we currently offer a variety of services:

Tax Preparation, Immigration, Civil Marriage, Self-​Help Divorce, among others.

Horrible staff. No one greeted me when I got there. They basically discouraged me from waiting to get my taxes done. Felt biased. Will never recommend this rat hole to anyone.

this review is long overdue.
Giselle did my taxes 2011 and 2013 on short notice.
I have been going to Mr Huber at Tax Matters for the longest time, whom is actully pleasant to work with but parking there was a tad difficult while Giselle’s Office is just down the street where I live.
Giselle is very professional and very friendly.
I highly recommend her and her office.

I needed something notarized, and fast. I literally had 2 hours of regular business hours to get documents notarized and sent off to the board of pharmacy. I was in diamond heights so I just search notary on google maps… a few places came up on the same street, the other 2 were closed… so I walk into this place. TOTALLY not what I expected… the street was kind of ghetto, but I was in no position to be picky. Mister Escobar, politlely gestures for me to have a seat at his desk, he looks through my paperwork and advises me that I can just send in what I have, without notary because I have two copies of something,
He was honest and well educated. He could have just notarized my paperwork and made an easy 30 bucks. But instead he helped me out. I would definitely go back.

This is a terrific, professional notary. We were short on time on our way by BART to the 24th St. station needing to notarize 3 documents. Wells Fargo in Oakland, where we have our accounts, refused to notarize anything that wasn’t bank business, and my daughter, who works in the Mission District, was worried she’d be late for work. Saved by Unilocal,the Google map guided us to this efficient notary less than 100 feet from the station exit. Both people in the office were extremely courteous and helpful. In just minutes our documents were notarized and we were refreshed to boot. Thank you Herrera Escobar Services!

It’s Saturday afternoon, it’s raining, I’m in the Mission and I need a notary. I walked into this storefront right at the 24th Street BART station next to the cookie shop, and was greeted by a lovely lady who said there would be a wait. No problem — library is about 150 feet away. Got my book and sat down in the big comfy leather chairs to read. In about 10 minutes Evelyn Herrera called me to her desk. Friendly, professional, and she had me out of there in 5 minutes. $ 10. No kidding. And they have this new gunk for taking your thumbprint that doesn’t stay on your thumb and make you look like a refugee from the police station. It’s all good.
