I first met Frank when he was the selling agent on a house I bought in Bernal Heights. I was impressed at the time that he had clearly gotten to know me over the weeks of open houses in other properties before finally meeting again I the one I ultimately bought. He was clearly knowledgable and forthright and helped make that deal go smoothly. When it came time to sell that house I immediately got Frank as my selling agent. He came up with a great plan, but then listened to what I wanted to do and didn’t want to do – he was careful with my money and put in a lot of personal work to get the property ready for market. Finally, I just moved back to San Francisco and had Frank as my buying agent. Once again I was impressed at the time he spent with me and that he clearly listened to what me and my wife were looking for a delivered. He was full of great advice, but never lost sight of the fact that we were looking for something that matched our tastes and needs, not necessarily his. Bottom line is that I can comment on Frank as my buying agent, my selling agent, and the other party’s selling agent and he was exemplary in each case.
Several other reviews have commented on the calming influence Frank has. This is critical in real estate, but especially in San Francisco. He manages to remove some stress and frenzy associated with real estate in this city. There’s substance behind that calm — he knows what he’s doing and that gives him and his clients confidence.
On our most recent purchase we were relocating from overseas and Frank was great at phone and email communication for months in preparing to buy, and then organized a great househunting visit for my wife, baby and I. He handled jet-​lagged clients (including a jet-​lagged 6 month old) like a champ and got us up to speed and ready to make offers. Ultimately we handled the offer and all of the paperwork right through close from halfway around the world without a hitch. Even after the deal, Frank stayed engaged to help us make some repairs and get moved into the house.
I honestly can’t say enough nice things about Frank or recommend him highly enough. I think he’s a genuinely good guy, treats people fairly and works very, very hard for his clients.

As I see, there are many 5 star reviews regarding Frank. I’m not surprised. Frank is an extremely bright person. He’s a wealth of knowledge, has a great sense of humor, and most of all a very, very kind person. Its hard to find that all wrapped together in a realtor.
I very much was a ‘newbie’ to selling property but Frank was there every step of the way, and made things always just a bit more bearable.
We ended up selling pretty quickly, in my estimation. And we were more than satisfied with the price Frank was able to achieve.
If you are thinking of selling or buying, I wholeheartedly recommend Frank Cadtaldini. He is Fabulous! He knows Bernal Heights like the back of his hand, but mainly he KNOWS how to treat people. And in my opinion, that speaks volumes.

Two words to describe Frank: top notch!
My experience with Frank was outstanding, all the way through. After realizing that I wanted to buy in Bernal Heights, I reached out to Frank to help me find the place (or shall I say project) of my financial dreams. Frank had connections, and we looked at a duplex in my desired neighborhood before it went on the market. With Frank’s negotiating, I was able to get a phenomenal deal on the property. And so, my project began… Frank kept in contact even when I began working with contractors and drawing plans. One year later I had created the vision for «the dream,» and with Frank’s leadership, sold the property to the buyer who wanted to get dirty and do the work. The best part of the experience is that Frank sold my property for significantly more money than my original purchase price one year ago. I could not have done any of this without him!
On a more personal note, aside from business, Frank is truly a pleasure to work with. He’s funny, approachable, laid back, and a shark when it comes to negotiating. Hands down, I’m going to Frank for all of my future San Francisco real estate transactions! Love him!

Frank truly went above and beyond during the entire process. We were selling our home in Bernal Heights while living in San Diego and did the entire process via phone and email. We had never sold a home before and Frank walked us through the entire process and kept us informed on all updates and happenings. Anytime I had a question, he was there, I could always count on him.

I recommended Frank to sell a friend’s house many years ago. Like magic he came in with an air-​tight marketing plan and sold the place in record time and well above asking… in a not-​so-​friendly market.
Recently, I called on Frank to sell my own house which was in danger of going into foreclosure due to a huge mortgage adjustment and ongoing litigation against the builder, rendering all of the homes in the development «unsaleable.» Frank literally found a buyer within the first week. Sadly, that buyer fell through as their lender unexpectedly pulled out of the deal due to the property litigation. Instead of giving in, Frank redoubled his efforts and in less than one week (WTH??) was able to find an all-​cash buyer for my property. The house closed in record time and my life improved dramatically as a result. The stress of an impending foreclosure and what that does to your finances, credit rating and LIFE were just too much to endure at times. Frank created an atmosphere of calm, reassurance and focus on the goal at hand. His empathy, kindness and insane work ethic brought about results I simply didn’t think were possible.
There’s a certain amount of humanity that’s lost in many transactionally-​based professions like real estate. Often the human story takes a back seat to simply doing the deal and collecting the check. It’s incredibly refreshing to come across someone like Frank who truly and genuinely cares about everyone he comes into contact with.
