Hot for the Holidays Elite Event @ Bisou Bistronomy

I’ll be honest I haven’t gone to too many Elite events in my day let along go to enough to say they were amazing.
The ones that I have gone too have been crowded happy hour-​like events. This one was the complete opposite. It was a formal prix-​fixe-​like event. I got there right at 6 and was almost the last one to sit at the table.
Yes, this was an amazing prepared sit-​down dinner. The food was amazing and the event as a whole was awesome. I’m NGL I was very hesitant to not have a +1 at this event but it ended up being awesome. I met some great people who all have the same interest. It was actually pretty awesome that when the food came out, we all took out our cameras. (Yeah, we’re those people.)
Regardless, it was on of my favorite events! Thanks so much Abby! + Bisou!

Bön Appétit indeed!!! What a special treat it was to be hosted by Chef Nick and his impeccable team at Bisou ~ muah! We also got to meet his business partner from Napa Kitchen Garden (NKG) and hear their concept of farm-​to-​table dining. I can’t wait to explore the Northern California Bistronomy Center, the ultimate foodies’ retreat.
Thank you to Abby and her Unilocal team for organizing another EPIC culinary experience. We were extremely lucky to have tasted eight courses of the Chef’s handpicked specialty dishes, which he made with love. Everything tasted superb; the pork belly was definitely my favorite. Always great to meet so many new faces without their +1’s, as it allows everyone to get more acquainted. I will return for dinner at Bisou — the ambiance is quite different than brunch. I look forward to watching staff make the Kobe Tartare tableside. Every dish paired well with their extensive selection of wines; although, they had me at Bordeaux.
Save the best for last was «dessert», a thick decadent chocolate tart paired with their signature authentic Italian expresso from SNS-​Café. Thank you for transporting us on a Monday night to France for two hours, leaving our worries at the door ~ many more besos for that!!!
Kudos to all the Yelites for tipping the outstanding servers, as «tipping» is always useful, cool, and sexy.
