Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by cookie delivery services in other cities, but I would never order from Doughbies again.
They arrived quickly, which is good, but the delivery time they quoted was way off — so off that I didn’t answer the first time the driver called. Also, the cookies AREN’T WARM. For me, the whole point of delivery is receiving hot, fresh cookies. Otherwise, I could just walk to Safeway or order boxed cookies (or cookie dough even?) from Amazon Fresh.
You need to up your ante Doughbies!

My first time ordering and it was great. Came in 10 mins or less. The delivery guy, Christophe, was so nice & amazing for biking up a big hill! He kept communication with me about the delivery and ETAs.

Literally 8 mins from the time we placed our order to the time we were stuffing cookies in our faces. Genius system.
Doughbies is like Über for cookies. They have bike couriers all over the city, with backpacks full of baked goods, just waiting to bring them to you. They have both brownies & cookies, but we liked the cookies much better. The brownies were more spongey than cake-​like, with very subtle chocolate flavor.
Stick with their classic offerings — the cookies are perfectly buttery and packed with chocolate chunks! We’ll try some other flavors next time…

Is this for real?!? Cookies on DEMAND? How did I not try this before? I always crave a bit of chewy sugary chocolatey goodness around 2pm at work and the best cookies in the neighborhood are Batter’s but half the time I can’t seem to get away from my desk and the other half the time their employees are at lunch. Lame.
DOUGHBIES to the rescue! Here’s to delicious cookies on demand without a delivery fee! I will be sending these to everyone I know to make their day. $ 8 for three cookies or $ 12 for six. That’s about par for the course for fresh cookies in SF. These are really delicious as well so literally this service is killing it on all fronts. Note: they aren’t fresh out of the oven but the are perfectly cooked room temp cookies with slightly doughy middles. Mmm
Ok wait maybe the only thing that could improve their delivery is if they served little milk boxes with the cookies. Hahaha take me back to kindergarten and nap time.

It’s so easy to order from the Doughbies’ website and within a few minutes of your scheduled delivery time you’ll get fresh cookies on their way to you! And these are serious cookies too. You’ll get a link that lets you track your courier’s status and if you get Christophe on a bike then even better-he’s the fastest messenger west of the Mississippi according to him lol. Overall, cookies on demand is a great idea. It reminds me of candy grams in high school, definitely have your crush send you a fresh box of cookies!
One thing I will say is, these cookies don’t come warm but they’re definitely big, soft, & chewy. Also, I wish Doughbies would expand their menu. Other than that, I would definitely order again. They make great gifts and are also delicious!

The confetti cookie was so beautiful and chewy and soft and crispy on the edges. It was made for those of us who love cake batter flavored things.

Love this service! Who doesn’t like on-​demand cookies delivered to your door? A bit pricey, but delivery is always quick, and I’ve never had any issues. The cookies come in a small cute box tied with twine and are soft and delicious. My favorites are the snickerdoodle and sea salt chocolate chip! The chocolate chip has grains of sea salt sprinkled on top, rounding out the taste.
I only wish they would extend their delivery hours…

Boss had me order 6 chocolate chip with sea salt cookies for the few people that were left in the office yesterday afternoon. 14 dollars for 6 cookies… A little overpriced if you ask me. But my boss didn’t care lol. He just wanted the cookies for what I assume were mid-​day sweets cravings. I don’t blame him. I crave sweets all the time!
I read online that between the hours of 12−4pm, they guarantee the order to arrive in 20 minutes or less! Was definitely skeptical about that. Placed the order at 2:26pm and they arrived at 2:37pm. What do you know? They were true to their word. The delivery guy called me to let me know that the order has arrived so I went downstairs to meet him. He was very friendly and greeted me with a warm smile. The cookies were in two separate boxes (3 in each) and was wrapped with orange string. I thought the cookies were pretty good. It wasn’t that they just sprinkled salt on the top and called it a day. With every bite, i tasted both the saltiness and the sweetness of the chocolate. I do wish that they had more options in terms of flavors to choose from though.

The cookies:
Salted chocolate chip — Not my favorite cookies of all time but these are rather yummy. I like the chewy texture.
Snickerdoodle — These were for the BF. I don’t think he has encountered a snickerdoodle he doesn’t like.
Brookies — soft, crumbly, chocolatey brownie squares.
Delivery:
I was skeptical of the 20 mins or less curbside delivery claim if ordered between 10am-​4pm or 7−10pm. They got here in 26 mins. Close enough!
Cost: 3 for $ 8, 6 for $ 14, or 12 for $ 24 including delivery cost. Not bad for nearly instant cookie satisfaction!
Bottom line:
This is an awesome service to have and I absolutely love it. I probably won’t crave these specific cookieson my own, but I love knowing that I can get cookies on demand whenever I want baked sweet goods.

Oatmeal Butterscotch | Too soft for my liking. Thankfully, not too sweet, nice chew and nice to sink your teeth into.
Peanut Butter | Still too soft, but crunchier than the oatmeal. Lots of peanut flavor with little chunks of peanuts. I love chunky peanut butter; which this is in cookie form. Delicious.
Basically, these are so good that it brought my boss (
) out of his Unilocal retirement to write about them.

Doughbies is perhaps the best and worst thing to happen to me. Great for their promptness but horrible for my waistline. Why did I feel the need to order cookies and try the brownies??? Why??? And why were they SO FREAKING DELICIOUS?!? My only regret (currently) is that I didn’t order more (although, between you and me, I don’t think my thighs nor my waistline could handle that!)
And talk about being prompt! They say they will reach you in 20 minutes or less, and they’re serious about that! I placed an order while at 9^th and Market. Not even 5 minutes later, I’m getting a call that the delivery person had arrived at 7^th and Market (my destination). I hadn’t even arrived back and they beat me back! Talk about incredible timing!
My sweet treats came in two cute boxes, wrapped in colorful string. I couldn’t wait to tear into them and devour all that yummy goodness. I ordered the sprinkles cookies and the brownies. The cookies were big and soft, yet the right amount of softness and flavor. I think that cookie melted in my mouth! The brownies had cookie baked in and were as equally soft and not too heavy. I was expecting something dense and too sweet or just too much of everything; instead I got soft, gooey yumminess that made me wishing I had more than 4.
Suffice to say, I’m a bit addicted. The only thing keeping me from OD’ing on these sweet treats is the price. Definitely great service to use to send someone (or yourself) a sweet pick-​me-​up midday, or for a small celebration. Now, if only I can restrain myself to one item per order…

I’ve enjoyed Doughbies several times delivered to work and I must say they are pretty dang good cookies! The chocolate chip is like what you expect from the others you had — chewy edges, chewy centers, and delicious, except, there’s a twist with some sea salt, you know to make it a little more tailored towards the hipster tastes. I usually try to go for this flavor. I’ve had the snickerdoodle which is alright but just seems to be a little subdued compared to their other flavors. The peanut butter one is excellent and not overdone at all. I’m not in charge of the ordering of these but I believe they’ll occasionally swap out flavors, but of course chocolate chip with sea salt will always be available.
Now if only they can spread their delivery zone within the city a little more. For when the craving calls at home!

I kid you not that my Doughbies arrived in what was literally less than eight minutes. EIGHT MINUTES! I was told that I got lucky, and it was because someone else in my building had also ordered Doughbies, so I guess the delivery person had extras on hand, but this was still amazingly impressive!
I’ll be the first to admit that the reason why I even ordered was to take advantage of a $ 5 off my order promo. I mean, $ 3 for 3 cookies with guaranteed delivery in 20 minutes? Why not?
Doughbies offers Chocolate Chip with Sea Salt, PB, Snickerdoodle, Oatmeal Butterscotch, and flavors are available in orders of 3 ($ 8), 6 ($ 12), and 12 ($ 22). I went for the classic CC, and it was a solid cookie — not warm, but still fresh, with just the right amount of chocolate chips and sea salt. To be honest, not sure if I’d purchase at regular price, but these were a steal at $ 1 a piece.
Love the concept, and hope they continue expanding to service other parts of SF (currently limited mainly to Soma and Financial District).and that they keep sending those offers!
