Sorry to sound unoriginal, but here’s another 5-​star review of Caremore: From the first phone call with Scott, through the estimate at the house, the colossal, 2-​truck move itself (which included getting a hugely heavy piano down a bunch of steps, wrapping and packing hundreds of pieces of delicate china, and a ton of furniture and boxes in between), through storage of our stuff for 9 months, occasional communication via email, to the final move to the new place – the Caremore folks were completely professional, competent and friendly. The price was reasonable, no surprises. God forbid we should ever have to move again – but if we do, I’ll call Caremore.

These guys are AWESOME. My friend Silver has moved approximately 3,000,000 times, and this was her easiest, best moving experience ever. They were all really nice and funny and did an amazing job– by far the most professional outfit. Highly recommended!

These guys deserve six stars! We had a tricky move — big heavy furniture and a narrow winding driveway on a steep hill. They had use a big truck then shuttle things on a smaller truck. The whole day all the guys were such professionals and super nice. (You don’t see many people smiling when moving crazy heavy stuff!) After moving all day — I mean all day — they asked if we were happy with the placement of things and did we want to see anything else in another spot. Their prices include insurance and honestly I didn’t know that moving could be such a positive experience. From the initial consult to the move — these guys are the only way to go!

Their team is absolutely fantastic. Helpful, kind, quick, detail oriented, etc. We were sup happy with their punctuality and the speed in which they got everything moved from one house to the other and worked with all of our demands. Couldn’t be happier.

I’ve moved with these guys twice. They were the only moving service I had ever used, so I guess I took their efficiency, speed, intelligence, thoughtfulness and good communication for granted. Recently I tried another moving service (flat rate moving company in Oakland), and boy did I get a rude awakening. Caremore are true professionals, where you get the sense that you could not have done it better yourself. They’re a little more expensive but it’s totally worth it.

The Caremore team helped us move from our 3 bedroom apt in SF to a house in Walnut Creek. They came the day before the move to pack and were terrific about keeping our belongings safe and the boxes well labeled. They even gave us money-​saving tips on what types of items (lamps, fine china) we might want to move over on our own ahead of time in our cars because they would take extra time for the guys to wrap super-​securely. They were friendly, professional, efficient, and really reliable.
Our friends had used Caremore for their move a few months before ours and had recommended them to us. I have since recommend them to other friends and they would be the first team I would call if I ever needed to move again. Thanks, guys, for a great move!

Fantastic :) just fantastic :) they helped us move last week within San Francisco and they were professional, reliable, friendly to be around and easy going even though we had a dog and twin infant girls crying/​barking at them lol :) they gave us an estimate of 3 hours for the entire move and they did 3.25– they are fast and productive and they will do everything for the best for u they even cleaned the front of our house so they can go through efficiently! I would for sure use them again and I for sure recommend them x

David, Darren, and Chris moved me yesterday, best moving experience I’ve ever had. They were super professional, communicative, and friendly. They were more careful with my things than I would have been. Without prompting from me, they carefully wrapped anything that looked marginally delicate. They were extremely fast, efficient, and did not come close to damaging anything.
Also, great phone and txting prior to the move to lock down logistics, and they txt’ed me afterwards to let me know everything was safely in storage. I will absolutely hire these folks from now on.

Great service from start to finish! Easy to set up a move date, and the movers showed up on time, were friendly, efficient and great at taking care of furniture and fragile items. Would use this company again.

They were great, efficient movers.
Took the job on short notice. They showed up on time, were careful, but quick, moving our stuff to the truck, and unloaded quickly at the destination.

I cannot recommend Caremore enough! I’ve used them for two moves now and have recommended them to friends and family who have had equally amazing experiences! On the second move they remembered my name and our last move, which was really nice. It was like, okay, these are my guys – they’ve got this! And boy did they! :)
I absolutely trust them with my stuff, but beyond that, they are super quick and hard working, very fair with prices and are just such a solid local company.
Ask for David (Dave) and Jonathan! They are soooo awesome to work with!
Also, when moving, just know that while you’re probably stressed out, don’t take it out on movers. They are working hard and niceness goes a long way. I always try to offer water and something to eat. Let the guys have a break. :)
Seriously though, I wouldn’t trust my stuff, my time or my money with any other moving company in SF!

The Caremore team is absolutely wonderful to work with. They took apart my furniture, moved it all out of one place, kept it in storage for two months, and moved it back into my new place. In fact, they were able to deliver it the same day I called in letting them know I had found a new apartment.
They were careful w/​valuables/​breakables, quick, and just generally pleasant people. Ricky helped me both times, and I can’t imagine anyone could do a better job — multiple flights of stairs, no AC… neither were fun jobs, but he executed them perfectly and am definitely planning on using Caremore for all future moving needs (and will ask for Ricky, every time!).

The CAREMORE team was outstanding in every way possible. They were very thorough in their pre-​move estimate and very prompt in answering any questions we had via e-​mail. Their prices are extremely competitive and their estimate was very accurate. There were no surprises.
On the day of the move the crew showed up right on time and jumped in with gusto. Our move out was very difficult — typical San Francisco apartment on a hill with many steps from the street up to our unit. Each one of them kept a smile on his face, made jokes and worked hard. They took one very short water break and got right back to work with the same gusto. There were no mistakes. Nothing was broken or damaged. Nothing got lost. The banter between them was fun and lively and keep each of them motivated.
I have moved many times and this was the best moving experience by far. I can’t say enough about how hard they worked to make this a pleasant experience for us. I was happy to give each of them a very generous tip at the end of a long, hard day. Don’t think twice. Book them now. You will not regret it.

These guys are exceptional with both customer service and execution. The front office are extremely professional and patient (I was given the run around from both the building I moved from and building I relocated to and had to change move in dates several times, they were completely understanding).
Ricky and Decklin moved me into my new apartment into a 3^rd floor walk up and no elevator on a hot day –They were done in an hr.
I am very impressed with this company and will not hesitate to use them in the future as well as recommend them to anyone in need of moving services. Thanks guys!

Really excellent.
This was my fifth professional move, and these guys handled everything perfectly. There were no surprises, they were right on time, nothing was broken and everything was handled exactly right. I had quite a bit of furniture to throw out and they took care of it. I have a large, heavy, reclining couch. This was the first time I found out it was actually possible to disassemble the couch. Without that, it might not have even been possible to move the couch.
Really, I can’t say enough good things about them. I’ll be using them for my next move.

THEY REALLY DO CARE MORE!
CAREMORE has competitive rates, they are efficient and organized and their customer service is amazing!
I recently moved from Atlanta to SF. During the planning phase, David was able to talk through a few scenarios with my assistant and provided clear and transparent pricing and options. Caremore does not do cross country moves but I needed storage in SF and they offer a great price on their units. David is very friendly and followed up with us to make sure we had what we wanted prior to my leaving Atlanta.
My moving van was early! Does that ever happen? Panic started to set in. I was still driving across country and pulled into a rest area to call Scott. Of course the van didn’t have all my paperwork and the driver’s cell phone died. I was starting to panic. Scott was so helpful! He worked with me via phone to make sure the movers had my paperwork and everything they needed to leave my stuff with Scott and his team. Scott is so friendly and calm. I had extreme confidence that everything was being handled with utmost attention to detail.
When I finally arrived in SF and wanted to get a couple of things out of my storage boxes, I arrived at the warehouse and the whole team helped me pull out my bike and a couple of small items. Each and every member of the Caremore team is professional and friendly.
I will never use another moving company again!

I will never hire another moving company again. You shouldn’t either. Here’s why —
PRICING
Out of all the places I called, they gave me the most people for the least money. Dave’s 3 man crew was only $ 10 – 20 more than other bids for a 2 men crew and it was well worth it given how much faster and easier it made the move. Dave was also very transparent about costs from the very beginning. No surprises were had.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Extremely responsive. I got a call back within 12 hours, was able to get a quote over the phone for my studio, and was scheduled promptly. Dave confirmed details with an email when I booked, an email and call the day before, and two calls the day of to let me know when they would be arriving within my window. If only Comcast respected your time like they do…
MOVE DETAILS
They took time where it counted and were fast when they needed to be. They wrapped big items and disassembled things with care but they also moved very efficiently. Having three people also made it easy to coordinate logistics like managing parking and loading the truck. I live on a busy street so I was a little anxious about getting a ticket but they came prepared with orange cones to not piss drivers off and even managed to find a parking space. They were also really personable, didn’t complain once and didn’t sit idle. They also navigated the trickiness of helping me move things in the destination house to make space for my furniture.
In short, I had a lovely experience doing something I absolutely abhor. Moving sucks but these guys make it much easier to tolerate. They made it clear through the day that their priority was having me be satisfied with the move end result, and I very much was. Many thanks Dave, Matt, and Sean!
