We support Lacerte, Quickbooks, ProSystems Tax, as well as all cloud programs for Accounting and Legal offices to Timeslips, A1 Law, Abacus, Amicus, Time Matters, Lexus Nexus Practice Advantage and many more.

Our depth and breath of knowledge extends far to most applications that are server based.

Started in Marin County in October of 1993 by David Arrants, wanting to improve the quality of IT support for Businesses. Now expanded to worldwide offices supporting offices up to 250 seats. We do your maintenance and migration at night to save your downtime and keep you working during the day.

Started using a computer in 1984 and discovered that this was his calling. Now after 20 years of professional service, we are able to handle companies up to 250 computers and servers in any part of the United States, Hawaii and Alaska. Our ability to manage servers and desktops is facilitated by our Bomgar Remote Support appliance. Purchased 8 years ago it revolutionized our business and allowed the control of computers through our secure encrypted connections that require no firewall penetration. I too have had a delight-​filled long term relationship with Carefree Computing. Incredibly responsive, never over prescribing unneeded equipment or software, David and his team have saved me and my computing equipment for years. They are really amazing at software fixes and architecting for growing IT needs. A real gem whom I’m pleased to recommend. Oh and note too that geography should not be a hang up as he has a new low cost remote capability (with all appropriate security) that can save you and his team from having to travel — at vastly reduced cost.

For over the past 10+ years Carefree Computing has been providing our law office with wonderful service in the financial district. David has fixed everything from a hard-​drive crash, to basic maintenance, to installing software, to answering simple questions. He has performed miracles remotely as well as in our office. He responds promptly and truly provides the best customer service!!!
The most recent situation (which made me decide to do a «Yelp» review) happened a few days ago. We were getting an error message from our billing software that we use. Prior to calling him, I had Googled the error message only to find many people had the same problem with no resolve. I tried to call their service desk, no help, so I then called Carefree Computing. David attempted to correct the problem, only to realize he needed the help of the program’s IT department. David took the time to speak with them, went 3 levels up to finally reach a supervisor and soon after, the problem was fixed!
He is definitely a miracle-​worker!

I was first introduced to David Arrants at Carefree Computing through my old employer. I immediately took a liking to him — he’s friendly, funny, sharp as a tack, and clearly at the top of his game. One of those people you feel you’ve met already in your life somewhere.
I called him a few months ago when my Dell laptop, still fairly new, had a particularly nasty crash because of having been infested with spyware, malware, etc. David expertly restored my settings, made things good and shiny as new, and tightened my screen bolts to boot.
Highly recommended!!!
