Carolin H.

Business Owner

I received my certificate as Massage Therapist at the San Francisco School of Massage. With over ten years of working experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in Hamburg /Germany I have gained a solid medical background and became an expert for posture related back– and neck problems as well as knee and shoulder pain. In addition to my formal schooling I have completed continuing education classes, a. o. in Deep Tissue, Dorn/Breuss/Ditter and Spine-Release techniques for the vertebral column, Reiki, Kinesio Taping. In 2008 I took part in the 6 month Postgradutate PNF-Program for Physical Therapists at the Kaiser Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo. PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Fascilitation) is also known as a functional stretching method. My approach to Massage Therapy is finding out what causes the pain instead of working on symptoms. I integrate the techniques as needed. I also work as a Massage Therapist for Adobe and assist teaching at the San Francisco School of Massage.
