I go here because of the location but they are an all around good shop. The flower selection is somewhat limited – I have never been when they had more than 6 strains – but they have strains of good to very high quality with corresponding prices. 55 for their really high end eighths. The bags are pre-packaged but I’ve never felt like they were ever light. Waxes, oils, and prerolls as well. Not good for buying in bulk. Joy is the main(only) budtender but really sweet and easy to talk to. Oh, and you have to knock! Sometimes it takes a minute or two for her to get to the door but she will!

Talk about your Diamond in the Rough! This little venue is neatly tucked amongst a throng of spots to eat, work, and play… heck, just about anything… this IS S.F., right? I found 70 Second Street via WeedMaps — stuck in SF on a work assignment and needed some meds(within walking distance). I’ll admit, this venue is still in its burgeoning phase and is not your«Wow, look at all that medicine!» type location. However, Joy(only budtender on duty), was an absolute pleasure to meet and speak with. Reminded me of that Cool Grandma your homeboy had, you know… the one that always had delicious food, a big smile and word of encouragement!!! Well, this one has EXCELLENT meds– both flowers and concentrates. I would put five stars on here, but… as yet, they have not began a new patient rewards program

Not sure why the other reviewer only gave 3 stars. I’d give 4 stars normally, and I’ll explain why, but these guys need a better rap than that. So, 5 stars from this new patient to help them off the ground. The only reason I remove a star is for their space, which looks, from outside, like it’s under heavy construction. The kind you don’t expect from a place that’s open during construction. They’ve painted the windows to be frosty and the décor is pretty haphazard(a zen fountain near the front desk, some artsy stuff hanging around). They ARE open, though! They just seem to be slowly building the space. Being a heavy procrastinator, I can forgive this. Note: As of today, they do not accept plastic, but they said they are working on it. I suggested Square. They were lucky I had cash, because I generally suck at that. Yes, the selection is sparse. The display case is this teeeeensie thing in the middle of their huge space, which is just as weird as it is endearing. But they have an excellent pricing/quality range and a lot of favorites(OGs, Girl Scout Cookies, Afghan hybrids). I came away with some Raspberry Kush that I thoroughly enjoyed. They also have the hard candies I’ve seen at other dispensaries(though I forget the brand) and some very high-octane chocolate truffles. I didn’t try the edibles this time, and won’t talk about the hash/extracts because I don’t use them, so you’ll have to be the judge of those yourself. Staff was SOSWEET and friendly. No shady pushy bouncer-guy, no lines, no rushing, and lots of questions answered. Since they’re so close to my office, I’m sure I’ll become a regular. Thanks 70 Second Street! :)

I was informed this place opened on October 19, 2012 but I just noticed it. I guess I am a little preoccupied when I walk down Second Street looking for lunch. It was just a little green cross that piqued my interest: what, what, what?! A club so close? Score! The selection is sparse and the interior is minimal but it’s in such a convenient location!
