Jesse is the best landscape architect. My wife and I hired him In May 2014 to design our whole backyard in San Marcos. He is incredible. I high reccomened him to anybody. He designed our pool, cabana, sports court and in ground trampoline. He was super patient with me as I changed designs. he is very friendly and honest person. Jesse is very very creative too. We hired Jesse York, the owner of York Design Group, after meeting with him for our backyard landscape. We had hired another architect (Whitehouse Design) initially for design only, but ended up hiring Jesse for the actual job. We really liked his personality and honesty — his bid was also very competitive. Jesse was very helpful and friendly in the whole process and I highly recommend him for your landscaping contracting needs.
We really liked his patience, friendliness, and professionalism. We liked him so much we referred him to all of our neighbors, who ended up hiring him for their landscape implementation as well.
Jesse even adjusted our design to fit our budget better, too. We had no idea that landscaping design can cost so much! Gone are our needs and wants for flagstone patio, but Jesse managed to put some flagstones as well as eldorado stone veneer on our seatwalls which was a nice touch.
He also contracted with Evergreen Nursery to plant a number of trees and plants that we selected during a meetup at the nursery. He gave many helpful recommendations as to what plants and trees survive better, etc. that we very much needed and appreciated.
It has been more than half a year since our backyard has been completed, and our backyard is prettier than ever! We absolutely love it to pieces. We can’t wait to hire him again for our next phase of the backyard project. Keep in mind though, Jesse gets really busy during peak seasons and may be very hard to get a hold of. Therefore I have to knock out a star. Otherwise, he’s great.
