Wateridge Cafe

This place is perfect if you somehow forgot your lunch and you work in the Sorrento valley area. they have a very good selection when it comes to breakfast items and also sandwiches. Ive personally tried the Tuna sandwich and the breakfast burrito and was pretty impressed. I would recommend anyone to come here if you’re in the area

Was quoted 45min for delivery time, it has now been over an hour and a half and our food has not arrived. I attempted to call the restaurant to inquire about the delay, but was placed on «hold». I suspect I was hung up on because the call immediately dropped and no one will answer the phone again. I am very disappointed and will not be ordering from Wateridge Café again.

Great spot for breakfast and lunch.

Yuck! $ 14 for a turkey sandwich & fruit bowl to be delivered… I took one bite and threw it away… I’m pretty sure that the mystery meat was definitely NOT turkey and there was a hair inside the fruit bowl…

Never had a bad experience here. Love there food and the people are very nice. Love the cook, he’s a cool dude. Prices are perfect and the Turkey Burgers are out of this world!

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is so nice from the delivery guy, cook, and owners. Abby always greets me with a smile when I come in and asks me how I’m doing. I always recommend Wateridge Café to my coworkers. There are other places to eat but this is the best in the area. Great food and Great prices.

Ok food but very slow with delivery as in 1 – 2 hours. Better off going in person.

Good salad and amazing service! I like this little deli, it’s a family run business with a heart of gold. They have a scrumptious salad bar and a delicious grill. They do make food to order and cater to we «particular fussy cocker spaniels» who have whatever issues with food. So nice, I love coming here and while I am sure I won’t be back due to work issues, if you work in this area, this family will take care of you. I love this place!

Great place, portions are great and you can’t beat the price. Only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is that sometimes the food does take a while but isn’t a big deal if you phone it in. Definitely beats any of the other similar café’s in the area though.

Coffee!

I’ve been here twice. It’s a good place to go to lunch with your coworkers. Pretty fast service and you can call in your order so you can pick it up once you get there. They also have a frequent buyer card so it’s nice if you work nearby.
Staff-​Nice! The owners are super friendly.
Ambience-​Inside is sort of reminiscent of a school cafeteria, there is also a patio outside that makes me feel like I’m chillin in the backyard. They were nice enough to bring our food to us.
Location-​Kind of hidden
Food-​Plentiful for the price you pay. But my beef was a little crunchy.
Prices-​These are great prices in comparison to all the other delis nearby.

It used to be know as Nexus Executive Deli, in UTC. When they moved, the name was changed. Still the same great menu and prices. This is my fav place to have food delivered from while at work. Free delivery with no minimum! Their chili is the best I’ve EVER had. There is also a daily hot special. The only reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is because they seem to struggle with accuracy and delivery speed. Faxing the order over seems to help, but you gotta call to make sure they received it. They delivered 2 orders to our company 1.5 hours apart. I WAS SOOOO Pissed that mine was the late one, I called and ripped the manager a new asshole. We’re coo now, tho. They’re getting better at it so maybe I’ll be able to update soon.

They have fresh PEETS Coffee, delicious sandwiches and daily HOT specials. Also, they make homemade soup everyday!
