I recently needed to rent a projection screen for a retirement party and reserved one from Voice and Video. When I picked it up, it was apparent I had ordered a screen that was too large for my needs. Dave happily swapped it out with a smaller one. Great customer service and reasonable prices.

Dave and his team take great care of their clients. As a fellow AV company, we often out source gear and service from V&V and they are always extremely helpful. If they don’t carry an item you are looking for, they will find out who does and get you in the right direction. There have also been times we have needed equipment last minute and they took care of us right away (when time persists). Thank you gentlemen!

We celebrated the life of my mother-​in-​law with a graveside service, followed by a delicious meal at Buca di Beppo in Carlsbad, Ca. and a DVD presentation of her life. When the DVD player we rented from VOICE AND VIDEO, would not work, the manager, Chris, from Buca di Beppo sent an employee to the store to purchase a new DVD player. He saved the day!
The next day VOICE AND VIDEO was very apologetic and did not charge us for the rental, delivery, or set-​up fees. They also said they would reimburse BUCA DI BEPPO for the cost of the new DVD player and offered us a free rental anytime we might need it. Things go wrong. That’s life. The problem was we could not reach VOICE AND VIDEO during the event so that they could fix the problem. We had to leave messages on the phone and did not hear from them until the next day. The true hero of the day was BUCA DI BEPPO and the manager Chris. One Star Off for faulty equipment and one Star Off for not answering the phone.

Awesome company to work with. Dave was super helpful today upon returning our equipment. Everything worked perfectly and they were very professional. Fantastic communication by all the staff. Definitely recommend Voice & Video Rentals for events.

This is the second time we’ll be working with the guys from San Diego Voice & Video… They are very professional and accommodating and just an all around pleasure to do business with.
I called them the first time we were renting from them and said «We have a meeting outside and no one can see the screen. What do I need?» They dumbed down their IT-​talk and spoke my language to explain what we would need. The set up of the projector, the hi-​res screen, and the audio was perfect; it was very affordable, too!
I would recommend these guys to anyone, especially if you aren’t sure where to start for these types of rentals.

Great service, my company needed a 6 Ft. Draper screen last weekend and they were able to help me no problem, they were cool as I turned it in an hour late but I called first to tell them. Clean professional facility, will definitely rent from here again!

They were absolutely wonderful! I needed a mic/​stand/​speaker for a one-​day non-​profit group workshop. I knew nothing about the equipment. Mike, on the phone, gave me some help and a verbal quote. Thanksgiving day! And the on call employee, I think was the owner came to the rescue! We rented a slide projector and it wasn’t working, I called their on call number and the sweet voice on the other end told me to meet him on thanksgiving at noon. We met he fixed the problem and we were able to show our family slides from 1957 to present day! Awesome service, best thanksgiving ever.

These guys are the rock stars of video rental equipment. Used them for the recent PSA merger anniversary party held on Shelter Island Sept 2013. Super knowledgeable and SUPER funny. No need to look anywhere else for video rental needs in SD! Love these guys!

Geron went above and beyond the day of the event, from determining the best way to show our video, to helping set up the tent above the TV, to wiping down the TV with Windex :) I cannot thank him enough for being a true professional.

I needed a projector and screen for a party and was looking for affordable options. Went to Voice & Video rentals based on Unilocal reviews and a quick call. Discussed my needs with a very polite gentleman (probably the owner) who was very patient and explained everything in detail. Extremely satisfied with my rental and will definitely recommend this to all my friends.

These people are awesome. They gave us fast service and the day I picked up and dropped off they were very helpful. They had decent prices and they showed us how to use the equipment we rented before we left.
Also, we returned the equipment a little late since we had gotten married that weekend and they let us slide on the late fee, so all in all, I would highly recommend going with this company.

These guys are great! I work at a hotel that uses their equipment and they are as friendly as can be! They don’t mind answer 1,000,000+ questions and were able to take an order so close to the time we needed it!

For our wedding, we rented our mic/​speakers AV equipment for both the ceremony and the reception from these guys. My husband was the one in charge of this one, but I went with him to pick up the equipment the day before and the guys were all extremely nice, had a fun sense of humor, and helpful. They helped my husband understand what would work best in an outdoor setting and what could double as indoor equipment at the reception. To keep things affordable, we tried to do most of the things ourselves — setup/​delivery we did with the help of my husband’s old band mates. The rental price was reasonable and everything was easy. We had a great experience!

SDV&V always seems to have what I need and the rental fees are very competitive. As all videographers know, the more you plan, the better your shoot, these guys are not open on the weekends so have your equipment reserved with a cc as soon as possible. Last time I rented lights was for a Saturday wedding, and I was ready to pay for 2 or even 3 days because I wanted to pick them up on Friday, but they only charged me for one day and they let me pick up on Friday morning so I actually had them 3 full days! That’s a sweet deal, and they’re right down the street. WTG guys!

These guys are really good. I am very impressed with their quality of service. If you need to rent digital or any electronic equipment then these guys are the ones to see. Their prices are really low and they make things very simple and straight forward.
