Tosca Natural Stone

I’ve been a customer of Tosca for over 20 years. They always have the best prices, most diverse and beautiful stone and knowledgeable staff. I would never go anywhere else. Also, if they don’t have what your looking for, they will do their best to find it for you!!!

In the middle of a Master Bath remodel & the guys at Tosca made it fast & easy to find the perfect stone. This was by far the smoothest, fastest, & best experience I’ve had yet!
We needed to match our quartzite sink /​vanity countertop & called all around Miramar looking for it. Tosca had the best price by far! No sacrifice in quality here… The stone is beautiful & they had different finishes to choose from. We are using the stone for a bench seat in the master shower & needed something that wouldn’t be slippery when wet. The brushed finish is perfect, it gives a polished look but has texture that is perfect for the shower.
Guy gave us a great deal on the slab, the staff was friendly & patient as we looked through their selection.

Be careful who they refer you to. Guy referred me to Andy DeBona at Sharp Stone to install my prefab bathroom counters. Not only did Andy DeBona refer me to another Granite place to get my prefab slab (Hmmm) he then did not show up for the job telling me that the slab I purchased was sub standard and he could not work with it. Why Tosca would refer such a «substandard» vendor is beyond me. When I confronted Guy about this referral his comment is well their all nuts (hmmm again). Seems to me that there are plenty of good quality fabricators and Granite yards out there that are not nuts. As a result I would never do business with Tosca or Andy DeBona — great service just down the street — just keep going on by.

We have worked with Kevin several times on different projects. We have purchased granite, tumble stone, tile etc. Kevin is very good at helping us choose the right material and he will point out deals that help on the budget as well. Example: he gave us a deal on two slabs of granite being that one was cracked. My granite guy was able to work with the crack and we got 50% off the slab. On another project We needed an accent tile. Kevin gave us 2 sheets of the small tiles which was very nice of him and they now look great as an accent around our shower tiles.
Highly recommend Tosca for your granite and tile needs. Working with Kevin is always a pleasure.

Guy is the guy for granite PERIOD ! We have remodeled over 50 homes, and we know pricing is always fair here. We have purchased Carrara Marble tops for 2 different kitchens in North Park and Kensington recently. The Brushed Sea Grass (HONED) for our signature remodel in WindanSea for a home that is part of the 2014 Green Homes Tour. The have pre-​fab stuff as well, but I hate using the P-​word– PRE-​FAB. So if you are doing the same Santa Cecilia pre-​fab counter tops for a quick budget remodel, they have it too.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Not one employee asked me if I needed help. And when I finally got someone’s attention whom I’m pretty sure was the owner/​manager, they acted like I was wasting their time with my questions. Decided to take my business elsewhere.

Excellent service from Cecilia and Omar throughout the process. They went beyond our expectations by installing granite countertops in kitchen and two bathrooms in time before we left on a trip. They were also able to do this despite a last second change in choosing which type of granite. The workers arrived early on the day they were supposed to arrive for both the demo and the install. Now we have a nice looking kitchen and bathrooms. I can’t recommend Tosca enough!

We bought our granite 7 years ago and came back for a product to compliment the original material with our addition. Guy, the owner, is super nice. He is one of those people that works because he loves it and walks around chatting and selling his product. The staff is extremely nice, which trickles down because of Guy the owner being a great person. It was a pleasure to do business with them, their prices are fantastic and the selection was better than the other places my contractor sent me to down the street. They have great precut slabs but a great variety in their full slabs. Some awesome and unique items that other yards did not have at all. So, go to this place, look for the owner… he will take great care of you!

Excellent service with great selection. We bought our granite here for a kitchen upgrade. We were looking for a small remnant piece, which is not easy to find. Surprisingly they had a good selection of remnants. We found a beautiful piece that was well priced. Cecilia and her husband took care of the install. They came out in a timely manner and did a wonderful job. On top of it all Tosca happened to have a piece of quartz that matched perfectly to an existing counter top. They also sold it to us for a great price. Could not have been happier with the service and selection.

We bought granite from Tosca natural stone and had it installed by C&O stone works. Tosca had a nice selection of granite and marble as well as tile and backsplashes in their showroom. I also appreciated the fact that Tosca had partnered up with C&O to address both the purchase and installation right there on site. Most granite shops seem to want to sell you the slabs but then you are on your own with the installation. I recommend the combination of Tosca and C&O if you want to simplify the whole process of upgrading your kitchen and bathrooms with stone.

Awesome and personable KEVIN has consistently and dependably gone the extra mile for me in helping select just the right products and colors (even if it means cruising the yard in a rainstorm to choose the perfect granite slab to match my colors). Kevin has a great «eye» for color and pattern, and knows his stock well. He is responsive and makes himself available when needed, which is critical.
I was further impressed by outstanding TIPHANI at the front desk, in how she greeted guests like a friend, and immediately put customers at ease by instilling trust and offering to help in every way possible. I have had several contacts with her and have found her to be another skillful «jewel» employee who builds confidence that the transaction will be executed accurately and efficiently.
Lastly, I appreciate the wonderful help of exceptional yard attendant LALO in expertly choosing, packing and safely transporting many boxes of stone edging (again, in the rain). He didn’t flinch as he got soaked in the process — just professionally, courteously and competently assisted us – invaluably– in this messy task.
I appreciate that It is the PEOPLE that make a business exceptional, as well as selection, cleanliness, an attractive showroom, and fair price. I honestly believe that the PEOPLE of Tosca Natural Stone «get it right» in every respect.

My fiancé and I purchased our granite countertops from Tosca a few years ago. Kevin was very helpful and took the time to understand the style we were trying to achieve with our renovation. We ended up purchasing a honed/​brushed granite and we absolutely love it. We were so happy with the selection at Tosca and help we received from Kevin.
Now (almost 3 years later) I’m helping my mom renovate her home. Our contractor referred us to a few different tile/​granite stores, but after visiting them we went back to Tosca because we felt like the selection/​service was superior. Kevin remembered us (which meant a lot) and has been extremely helpful and patient picking out granite contertops, tile for floors/​shower/​fireplace, etc. I’m once again so happy with the service and selection. Also the pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

We have made an enormous amount of purchases from Tosca Natural Stone over the years, including a huge amount for 3 bathrooms within the past two months. The quality of the stone is superb. The staff are first-​rate. However, there is a huge downside. If you have to count on their stone being delivered on time for your job, don’t do it! They are consistently late getting their orders in from LA and Orange County. You might have a job on hold for a few weeks because of orders not arriving by the time you are stated. If you can deal with late delivery, then they are superb. If you have to count on their word that an order (or split order) will be on time. don’t buy from them until they get this new problem fixed.

Buyer Beware!
We purchased a pre-​fab granite slab from Toscan with a back splash and had it picked up by our installer. Once installed we see that the backsplash is from a different slab that was shown to us while we were there but had a distinctive space running through it that we didnt like. We called Toscan and spoke to the sales person who said he would talk with Guy the owner. The sales person called back and said that the owner said it was basically too bad since its installed he would do nothing. I directed an email to him and said we were extremely dissapointed that a business would run like this and not back the mistake that had been made on thier part. He again responded telling us it was the distributors fault not his. So now we will have to seek other remedies with him. Buyer Beware if you decide to shop here it could cost you a lot of time and energy. There are seeral other granite distributors — actually even one block behind Tosca which we have purchsed from and had great results with. I can safely say this is one of the worst customer service businesse I’ve ever run into.

Why didn’t we go here first?
It is a pleasure and refreshing to deal with people who are helpful, courteous, make suggestions, and go the extra mile to make sure your requirements are satisfied.

Why didn’t I go here first? Thoroughly enjoyed buying our porcelain floor tile from here! Guy was a huge help and he really knows his stuff.

Based on the great Unilocal reviews, I decided to stop by the show room today hoping to purchase Porcelain TIle for my Condo flooring. I was completely ignored. I truley mean not one single person acknowleded my presence. I browsed for 15minutes and left. AWFUL customer service. Also, beyond that little insult, upon entering the showroom which by no means is large the first thing that hit me was an awful smell. The bathroom doors to both the mens and womens room were open as if they were trying to air the smell out. Poor customer service, the smell of a dirty toilet and several thousand dollars to spend for product do not mix. I will take my business elsewhere.
