Waiss did come and took a look. He checked the job for completeness and indicated that all looked good. For now, all is OK. While he was here, we also talked about the original installation error of improperly drilling of the handle holes. He indicated he would talk to his crew to see if anything could be done.

I am very impressed with our recent kitchen remodel that granite depot completed. They did it quickly, on time and we are extremely pleased with the outcome. We needed it quick and ordered cabinets that were in stock. The entire job was completed in less than 1 week. I cabinet was ordered incorrectly, they came back today to install it and the job is complete. These are professionals, and Weisz gave us great ideas. I recemmend them highly. The granite is so beautiful, we are quite pleased.

We looked around quite a bit before deciding to go with Prefab Granite Depot for our kitchen remodel. The service was exceptional and you can’t beat the quality and price of the cabinets and granite countertops that we decided on.

I cannot say enough! I will always recommend them to people that need counters! I came in on a Thursday to order counters, they pulled all of their resources together and came to my house on time THE NEXT DAY to install counters! I was thrilled! Everyone there is extremely professional including the contractors that install! A great thing also is they won’t charge you for two slabs when you’re a couple inches over and just charge you for a remnant! AWESOME! (If you’ve shopped around elsewhere you know this!) the best part is that they come and install it in a SINGLE DAY!!! Homedepot takes at least two weeks! Maru is very sweet and helpful! I felt like I was treated the same way someone ordering a full $ 30K kitchen would be for a small $ 1,300 order. Oh and also awesome that your order Includes a 6in back splash!!!

They refuse to sell the pre-​fab granite slabs unless they install them, so even the cheapest pre-​fab slab costs over $ 1100 each and goes as high as $ 1650 each. When I told her she was going to lose a sale, she just shrugged and said, «We won’t do it». (Then gave me a crappy look as we were walking out of the store). They so want to control how the customer purchases that they would rather lose a sale, than allow a reasonable request.
Just ⁴⁄₁₀ of a mile down the road is Tosca Stone. The man that quoted the prices to us was very friendly and took the time to go through all of the options for us, even checking to see if they had a different bullnose in the back. They had the exact same slabs and they will sell them without installing them. $ 325 for the Tazmanian Green pre-​fab slabs and $ 400 for the peninsula. So, $ 1400 and our friend who works for an installer will install them for us.

I’m extremely picky. Their white shaker cabinet looks great, I was pleasantly surprised. The prefab quartz looks very nice also, usually prefab looks just ok. Both installation crews where clean and courteous. Will buy from them in the future.

Ask for Brenda! She’s very good at returning calls and followup. She’s also an interior designer specializing in kitchen design.
There were some issues regarding scheduling and install because of problems with my general contractor. Brenda did her best to work with me to change scheduling dates as needed. Fortunately ours is new construction so its not like we were without a kitchen.
They provided great quality prefab cabinetry properly installed at the lowest price in town, you’ll be happy with the result. I am!

My wife and I are very happy with our new kitchen. Prefab was easy to work with and came through with everything they said they would. They worked with us figuring out the best design for the space, our special requests, then through demo and installation. All of the installers were very friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to get a great value kitchen.

I went with my wife to prefab granite depot and picked a kitchen and granite counter tops. Their staff came to my home in la Jolla and installed it last week. They did an excellent job they had everything prepared before hand so the installation took four days only and they were out. Their staff were prompt, professions and clean. they didn’t leave any mess behind. I got my money’s worth and I would recommend them to my friends.

I just can’t say enough about how great the PGD Team was to work with from beginning to end. Everything’s being finished up today, so we’re literally under 30 days for an entire kitchen remodel and we never could have done it without Waiss and Martha. They removed the need for a middleman, a middleman who will simply up-​charge you for coordinating things that PGD can do and that you can do yourself. They measured everything perfectly and have an excellent team doing the work.
We only had one hiccup and that was with one of their cabinet guys, but Ricardo came out and finished up perfectly and politely … he’s a real gem! Juan with the tile was excellent at his job and very accommodating in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Gerardo with the granite was a man of few words but fantastic work. He’s very focused and does beautiful work.

We chose prefab granite depot for our kitchen remodel project. From start to finish, Michelle and Brenda were incredibly patient, kind, and helpful. They were easily available to us by phone or email to answer questions and give advice. Lots of different choices in cabinetry, countertops, and materials were available. Any remodel has minor problems and on– the-​spot decisions that need to be made. Every issue we had was handled to our satisfaction. Design specialist Waiss was willing to incorporate my ideas with his concept of a kitchen upgrade and the end result was far, far beyond what we expected. We LOVE our new kitchen! We will definitely recommend this company and use them again based on our overall experience.

The good is that they are open on Sunday. The ladies working are friendly and pretty knowledgeable. Scheduling was easy, my biggest complaint is communication. I had asked for 2 things: 1, a call when they were on the way… didn’t get that. And 2, an invoice when they came. No go on that either. So, our vanity counter and backsplash are beautiful, but not sure the the office and delivery folks are working together.

I was very excited about my kitchen project. Everything went smoothly until we get to the install part. They install the cabinets and had missing cabinets. They were supposed to come back the next day but never showed until 2 days later.
The big screw was the granite countertop. The installers came and they had the wrong size for our kitchen then they went back to the office to see if they had matching granite. They showed up with a pretty obvious unmatching piece. The installers themselves said they could not believe their office was trying to screw us over by sending those pieces and they suggested we refuse them. We called the office and got an attitude from them and they said they need to make a new order and the earliest they could get someone back here would be in 2 weeks. Seriously? They messed up and did not even care enough about the inconvenience they were putting us through. The whole thing was supposed to take 3 days but became a 3 weeks project? I ended up cancelling the granite order with them. We could no longer deal with the unprofessionalism. What a disappointment!!! They are quick to take your money but the service delivery is awful. I wish I had read all this reviews before contacting them

I thought I had written this review a year ago when I had my kitchen installed but a friend of mine just called me and said she couldn’t find it — my bad, I forgot to write it. First the good, the kitchen looks great. Now the bad. It was the most frustrating experience of my life. I repeat, the most frustrating experience of my life!!! The «girls» in the office are all cute but they are very unprofessional. They don’t return calls timely, they get things wrong, like the granite I picked out, etc. Even Weiss was difficult to get ahold of and when I did finally get him I expressed my concerns about the lack of professionalism and he made excuses and brushed it off. First off, they wrote the wrong name of granite on my purchase order so when I got to the showroom to look at it it was the wrong granite. When we got that figured out I had to make another appointment to look at the correct granite. My frustration was further tested when the granite I saw the second time I arrived didn’t look like the sample I had picked which I really loved. They told me that what was being mined now does not look like the sample anymore. I asked why they were using a sample that no longer represented what was available. All I heard were crickets and excuses. I then said «can I use the sample as one of my pieces?» They said «unfortunately no because someone else has purchased that sample.» I was really ticked that no one told me that the granite I picked out no longer would look like the sample (which they all admitted that they knew) and that I was not advised when I picked the sample that I could actually claim the sample for my own use. They eventually told me I could pick another granite but I didn’t like anything else there near as much as what I had originally picked and I had already given them a down payment of half the cost of the job so I was stuck. Turns out that I like the granite «OK» but it could have been and should have been fabulous.
We also had scheduling issues the worst of which was when they called me at work to tell me that the men with the granite were at my house ready to install and I told them that I hadn’t even approved the final granite yet. Poor guys had to take what they had back to the warehouse. I called prefab and they thought that I had already approved the granite. Obviously the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing :-(
The other thing that bothered me was when designing my new kitchen Weiss put in a very small cabinet, about the size of the spice rack pull out, on one side of my kitchen so as not to «waste any space.» I didn’t think anything about it at the time but because he did that it pushed my sink over so that it was no longer centered on my counter. Being that I am not a designer, architect or other such professional person, I didn’t even think about that when he showed me the design. When I wanted to put in pendant lights above my counter I simply couldn’t because to center them over the counter would have put them in a weird position over the sink and had I centered them over the sink they would have looked like they were in a weird position when looking at the kitchen. So no pendants for me :-(All for a silly 6 inch cabinet that I now have to figure out what I can actually fit into it.
I would like to give them 2 – 12 stars but that was not possible. The bottom line is they are the cheapest around and the end result is beautiful but you must be proactive and ask many questions, be your own project manager and stay on top of them at all times!

I have been meaning to get this done for ages and have been remiss in getting to it.
A friend brought me to literally every remodeling place on Miramar Rd. to shop for a kitchen remodel and I fell in love with the kitchens at PreFab Granite Depot. I picked up some pricing information from Ashley and waited for my insurance company. Over the next month I was back and forth to the showroom at least three times asking questions, getting different quotes, etc. Basically trying to figure out how as a single Mom of a college student I could get THAT kitchen. I even brought in a coupon I found in a circular at one point. Finally, I talked to Weiss on the phone and he was kind enough to meet with me on my lunch hour and sort out what I ACTUALLY wanted from the many quotes I asked for. Then he came out to my house, again working around my lunch hour, measured my kitchen and came up with a plan a couple days later.
To say that he and the girls at PreFab worked WITH me would be an understatement. I worked with Ashley, Sarah (such a doll), Michelle and of course Weiss. At the time we had to deal with some delays due to dockworker strikes, completely out of their control. Sarah or Michelle would always called me and kept me up to date on what was going on and what the plan was. It didn’t matter who I called on any occasion, because everyone was helpful. I absolutely never had to wonder what was going on. Even though I didn’t ask, they went out of their way to get my kitchen done before Christmas.
My kitchen is beautiful and nicer than anything I could have imagined. Weiss, Sarah, Michele and Ashley could not have been kinder or more helpful to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer them to my family or friends. It was a positive experience all the way around.

Many, many choices from black splashes, granite, and tile to solid wood cabinets with lots of hardware choices. Only had to wait a week for install and they finished in 3 days. They also came out to measure and help design my new kitchen, included in the price. Great company to work with.

We have been extremely impressed by this company twice now. We have several rental units that we like to update as they become vacant. We have used Ikea in the past for several of them, both cabinets and granite. Now Ikea no longer offers granite as a counter top choice.
From the moment we walked into Prefab Granite Depot with our drawings, everyone was very courteous and professional. We chose our granite from the many beautiful samples they have right there in stock. We had our quote in less than 30 minutes, and the installation was scheduled for the following week.
The installers showed up exactly on time. I was amazed that they were able to demo the three old counter tops, install the plywood bases, and install the granite complete with sink and faucet in only 5 ½ hours! They cleaned the granite until it shined, and hauled away all of the mess.
This is the perfect place for granite counter tops if you don’t like to waste time waiting and scheduling several appointments. It’s exactly what we need to have our apartments ready for new tenants in record time. We will be using them again and again!

Piss poor service with staff that has a serious attitude problem. I walked in, nobody cared… I asked a question and it looked like I was bothering one of the princesses. They have a big selection of «things» but boy I got such a turn off… We are about to remodel our condo top down which will probably cost good chuck of change and they just lost an opportunity.

Just had my kitchen remodeled by Weiss and team and we re really please. The work was done in a timely professional manner, and we are delighted with the result.

Yep. Only reason why they get 1 star is bc the girls in the front were kind and the job was finished.
1. Took 3 different installers to install the cabinets correctly 3 separate occasions.
2. Wyss (the manager) came out 2 times & was close to an hour late each time and not once did he apologize or call me to tell me hed be late.
3. Joked that he isnt making a profit off this project… Bc his installers messed up soo many times.
4. Joked that hed give me a discount by having his wife come to my salon and get her hair done. What a fucking tool!
5. Installers did a no show on one occasion.
6. Installers lagged which pushed back my tile and plumber guy for almost a week.
7. Installers tried to «fill in» the cracks And Wyss didnt seem to think there was anything wrong w that.
I dont know about you, but if i checked the reviews before hand i definitely wouldnt have hired them. Pay a little extra for some professionals to work on your home. House projects are stressful enough. No need to add a greasy tool bag manager onto the plate. Yep he definitely talks down to women like they dont know shit and talks over you.
Im not a difficult person… I simply just wanted someone honest who can just get the job done. Dont go here if thats what youre looking for.
