This place has the best cheap sushi! I don’t really order much else on the menu except sushi. For the price you can’t beat it. The staff here are really nice, and the sushi chef hooks it up! LOVETHISPLACE!

Peetty descent sushi and other Asian foods… This is College area and I hate everytime they I order for a dish but ask if they could please make it Vegetarian… With just veggies and no meat… And they look at me like I’m crazy… Sometime they won’t do it! But when they do is great… Therefore 4 stars… If they were more vegan or veggie friendly I would go again…

Please do not go here for phở. Do yourself a favor and avoid the terrible symptoms of added msg. There was no essence of phở in what I ordered. It was like a sad empty vessel that left my heart pounding, hands shaking, and head in a fuzzy state of mind. I’m very sure they don’t put time and effort into making that broth, it’s like a diluted flavor pack or something with scoops of msg. Please don’t get the phở. Not a good representation of Asian food. I know there are other things on the menu but a restaurant shouldn’t be serving something they can’t make. At least take it off the menu . Don’t mean to be biased but… trust an Asian person’s review on the restaurant… it’ll be more accurate. There’s little Saigon down the street, which is where I’ll be going for more authentic and high quality food. Also be wary of restaurants that mix so many different cuisines under one roof. Asian food is not all the same and one restaurant isn’t going to excel in all of them.

The banh mi sandwiches are good, the phở was edible, but too pepper-y. The spring rolls had a satisfactory amount of shrimp. I’d come back someday if I’m in the area, but wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. It was just A-OK.

Waitress literally refused to wipe my table with a clean towel and disinfectant when there was visible food and a sticky substance on my table. She just grabbed a napkin off the table and spread it around. Very gross. Clearly this is a culture of dirty. Who refuses to wipe a table(reasonable request) after repeated requests?

Been here multiple times, I really enjoy their food. It always tastes very fresh. Customer service is good. They are always helpful with any questions you may have and are friendly. Their avocado smoothie is to die for! So good. I find their prices to be a little expensive which is why im giving them 4 stars. Aside from that its a great place!

Used to be our go-to place for phở. After the ownership change a few months ago, the broth lost a lot of flavor. Luckily in College Area there are many other options, so we found a replacement. Also, the Sriracha is being refilled with some other brand now that is runny and tastes like catsup.

Compared to so many other sushi places, their prices for the amount of food they give you is amazing. Everything is freshly cooked and the people there are very friendly. The quality of the food is very good.

I enjoy this place. They are super close to the freeway and right by college which is I’m sure why they are pretty crowded during the lunch hours. The prices are comparable for the area. A little more than phở souper bowl it feels like. But the ladies are super sweet and they are very fast which is crucial for this time of day. I ordered the rare flank steak twice in the small size. This most recent visit I added white chicken as well. I love their broth it’s not too salty and with the squeez of lime they give you & some chili paste it’s perfect! The steak is great; not fatty at all and very thin slices. The chicken meat is tender, all white meat no tendons or fat. A good amount of noodles but still able to fit all my sprouts and basil in no problem. I also had the fresh whole coconut last time I was in. Delicious; lots of juice and they open it up when your ready, mine had a pretty good amount of meat. I so for the small flank steak phở with a side of chicken it was $ 11.39.

First place I’ve found in San Diego that serves Yakisoba that tastes like how my mother makes it. Being thousands of miles from home this is huge! Pork dumplings are good! Quick service, friendly staff. Reasonable prices! This is my new Fav!

My boyfriend and I had an early dinner here last night and they were so accommodating! The food was very filling & I could hardly finish my entrée! It was kinda on the more expensive side though. Eeek. Would definitely come back regardless, maybe when I need cheering up or if I have a «treat yo self» kind of day. Haha. Great customer service. Thanks!

It took me 7 years living in the college area before I tried top 10. The concept of an «asian» restaurant usually rubs me the wrong way. The menu indeed covers a wide spectrum of asian food types. I ordered some veg spring rolls and a veggie chow fun. Other reviews rave about the spring rolls and accompanied peanut sauce so I figured they would be a good way to get a base line of the place. The spring rolls are warm, something I am not accustomed to. They do have nice fried tofu squares tucked in with the glass noodles, a bit of mint and lettuce. They do taste good, but in terms of «fresh rolls» I prefer the ones that come out cold. The peanut sauce is good, but definitely not the best in SD. Standard generic peanut sauce dipping sauce. The chow fun was loaded with veggies and was very fresh tasting. It was a tad bland for my taste, so I dumped all my excess peanut sauce on it and it was much better. I was most impressed with the speed the dishes came out. I ordered and not later than 8 minutes the food came out. $ 15 dollars for an appetizer and entrée was a fair price for the food. I would come back if I was in the shopping area, otherwise I will go to a more specialized«asian» restaurant.

This is a great sit down restaurant if you have time to. My girlfriend and I come here often whenever we crave Asian dishes. They have Phở and sushi which is great because it’s all in one place. And the location is perfect for college students. One downside however is that the to-go portions don’t match the dine in portions. So if you have time to sit down and eat I would rather do that. Overall it’s a fantastic eat! Enjoy! Food is good, portions need adjusting. I ordered to go and didn’t even get a full plate.

If you’re thinking of coming here for phở, you might want to think again. I don’t have much of an opinion on the restaurant, especially with this being the first time that I tried this location. Although, if we’re talking about phở, I can definitely give you an opinion on it. But first, let me give you some pro’s about the restaurant. It’s clean and good customer service. Other than that, there’s not much that I can say. It’s a small venue so don’t expect too much. With that being said, let’s get to what you really wanna know. FYI, I ordered a #2(well done steak, brisket, flank, tendon, & tripe.) Price, $ 8-$ 10 in general for the bowl of phở.(Comes in size small or large.) They will charge extra if you add extra items. The overall quality is ok. It’s not great, but it’s not bad. The broth tastes watered down. As for the meat, it was alright. BUT, there was very little of it. It may only seem like more because the slices were small. The noodles, always seem the same to me wherever I go for phở so I don’t have much to say about that. Would I go back? Maybe, but definitely for a different dish and not phở. Take into consideration that they serve different types of cuisine; Vietnamese, Japanese, and I believe a previous Unilocal review that I had read earlier said Chinese. Would I recommend this place? Ehhh sure. Explore your horizons. Just because I didn’t like it, doesn’t mean that you won’t. Everyone’s taste buds are different, so don’t be discouraged by reviews.

In my quest for great chicken phở I can cross Top 10 off my list. The service is excellent but the food leaves a lot to be desired. It’s basically a bowl full of chicken, rice noodles, and oil. Blah.

Can I start off by saying, it’s always nice to find a place with good phở, and good customer service. Consistent. With Top 10, that is NOT the case. But you kinda already knew that because of the one star I was forced to give them. they really deserve a big fat ZERO. I have eaten here before. Not great, but not horrible either, when the other better places in the area are closed and I don’t want to drive further than«down the street». You know, as a last resort. So before they closed at 10, I ordered a couple of phở’s for pick up lastnight. And they didn’t exactly give me a wrong order… They MADE me a wrong order. The Veggies(broccoli, bok choy, carrots, and celery) are normally used in the tofu veggie phở. but they did put in the same carton with the noodles the beef combo meat i ordered. right over these veggies. Barely any meat, but hey. They know i ordered a beef combo. There’s my point. Too late to call them and complain, to fix the order, it was past closing, we ate it. I wouldn’t normally expect things for free, and I can honestly say that if the vegetables didn’t taste so horrible, I wouldn’t have been adamant on asking them to fix their mistake the next day(today). It wasn’t just the mix up, but all around disappointment. The whole time we ate we were just shocked that this place was so stingy, and had basically the blandest… I don’t know if i can even get myself to call this broth. maybe«soup water». Yeah it was that bad. Especially if you go to Saigon or Phở Hoa and the broth itself is just amazing.(By the way TOTALLY recommend if you are reading this review to go to either of those instead). They gave us barely any meat, like 3 pieces no joke, and minimal noodles. And their broth container was only filled half way. Which is not just a first time, I’ve noticed this before. At other places, when we order to go we get so much more food. Top 10 gave us half the amount of a normal take out order. S.T.I.N.G.Y. With how mediocre it was maybe this was not so bad. I would say we paid $ 10 a bowl for the worst phở in the area. Over charged us too. Yup. Shouldn’t have let the bf go by himself to pick it up. But I was lazy, we’re not all perfect. Top 10 either, which is why i wanted to gave them a chance to fix their mistake. When I asked for them to make us a new order and explained how bad our order was lastnight, a girl named Barbara seemed nice and assured me it would be fine. She did apologize. BUT– pay for a new phở. When I asked to talk to a manager, she told me the owner was there and asked for me. The owner said exactly this: If you didnt get the right order you should have put it in the fridge and brought it to us the next day. WOW. You’re totally right. We would have been better off sleeping on an empty stomach. The food was not good anyway, I was just taking a stand on principle. NEVERGOINGTOTOP10EVERRRRAGAIN. Bye Felicia!

Best phở I have tried(I have actually only been to one other place but this pace is better). I always get their chicken noodle phở. It’s amazeballs. No matter how busy it is I’ve noticed I always get seated and served very quickly. I haven’t had a chance to try anything other than the chicken phở. It’s delicious, so good. So so so good. I love that they bring you water right away without you having to ask, also makes me 100% less likely to get a coke or something. It’s really worth it to try, I’ll be having their sushi and fried rice next.
