What is there not to like about frozen yogurt?
Even on a cold San Diego night, step into Yogurtland and your transported back to a warm summer day from your childhood.
My wife and I have been popping in once a week lately, we have our routine down.
Start off by sampeling what ever flavors peak your interest.
Then grab a cup and fill it as high as you want. Your paying by the weight so don’t cheat yourself.
They have flavors that often change and some staples that do not. I usually can get 4 flavors in a cup. Some of my favorites are cheese cake, chocolate shake, strawberry, and sea salt and caramel pecan.
Do not forget to hit up the toppings station before you make it to the register. Pay up and enjoy your fantastic creation.

Very pleased with the customer service and cleanliness, of this location. Great selection of yogurt and toppings. The consistency of the yogurt was great! Overall, great visit. =)

So disappointed in what I just experienced. Just (10/​31/​2015) went to grab some fro-​yo to go. As I was about to grab some crushed Oreos to put in my fro-​yo I noticed a hair in it. I notified Nathalia (who was working the counter). She came over took out the scooper which the hair was attached to and replaced it with a new scooper, but did not throw the Oreos away and replace them with new fresh ones. SERIOUSLY??? The hair was all over them. I don’t blame Yogurtland for the hair, but I do fault them, Natahalia and her manager for not teaching her better — you throw out all of those Oreos and replace them with new ones.
I used to love this place. Yogurt was also so good as were the toppings.
However this incident has left me questioning the cleanliness of the whole operation.
Won’t be back for a while.

Best Yogurtland in the city. Positive staff. Clean eating and serving areas. It does get crowded though. But that’s not a knock on them.

Came in during a busy time but did not mind the wait so much.
There’s a lot to do while waiting to check out:
Get the tasting cups n try all your potential base;
Chat with friend;
Go to the clean restroom but you make sure to get the key to happiness;
See and be seen by different Types of people ‚
Be on the lookout for eye candies or better yet be the eye candy;
At the end, choose your toppings ang favorite fix in and enjoy !

It’s been hot as heck in San Diego so best friend & I wanted grab some froyo to end this Wednesday night. It was super busy, around 830pm. Lots of college students and families tonight. Overall, good service. They didn’t have mango for a topping :(I also wish people were polite and waited in line for their turn to grab what flavors they wanted. Common Courtesy right? Place was clean, cashier was friendly and offered me a rewards card to sign up online.

Bright, cute store with lots of yogurt flavor options and tons of toppings. The interior is clean and the line moves quickly for the amount of people that always seem to be here. There are a wide variety of nonfat yogurts to choose from and plenty of fresh fruit for health-​conscious froyo lovers as well. Sometimes my strawberries are a little frozen though =|

Came in for some yogurt it’s super hot our thought it would be yummy, they were super busy which I expected no big deal the girls at the counter said hi and offered some taster cups. In line it was really unorganized everyone had taster cups and was really rude about trying stuff jumping I front of the line kind of annoying! I got chocolate, salted caramel gelato and cupcake. Perfect mix it was so good! Inside the seating was full so we decided to sit outside on a planter box, everything was fine until we realized the planter was FULL OF HUGE ROACHES!!! That ended that not before we ran into two homeless people fighting in the parking lot out front! It was interesting! I probably will only come in the day time from now on when the roaches are still in hiding!

Yogurt: I love how they switch up flavors and keep the classics like vanilla or strawberry. The consistency of the yogurt is perfect, it’s solid, smooth and not liquid-​y like other places. They have about 8 – 12 flavors, but my favorites are green tea, strawberry, cookies and cream and taro.
Service: always fantastic. They’ll always greet you when you step in the door and ask if you want samples. Sometimes it’ll be too busy to do so, but don’t hesitate to ask, they’re really friendly. They keep an eye on their cleanliness and toppings, so you’ll rarely see one topping half empty and the place is always looking sharp and clean.
Best part of this place is sometimes they’ll have theme weeks/​months and have cool spoons! I’ve seen sanrio characters, candy crush and cute animal themes.
Parking: since it’s in a shopping plaza, parking isn’t hard to find. Especially when you get the 4 parking spaces right in front of shop, that’s the best.
If you show your school ID (locals) before you purchase you get a 10% discount!
Overall, when I’m craving yogurt I can rely on this place to satisfy it. Consistency of the yogurt is top notch, variety of flavors and toppings, and service is friendly and welcoming.

The yogurt here is really good, there are plenty of toppings available for the yogurts. They’re constantly changing out their yogurts with new and exciting flavors. Really good and its open late! Sometimes the customer service isn’t as good as other days but for the most part its a good place to go.

I’m a fan of frozen yogurt, therefore, I’m a fan of Yogurtland. I made the mistake of signing up for the rewards program because now I’m here more than I should be. Free ounces every so often and on my birthday! How can I say no? They’ve got the basic flavors and the rotating temporary ones along with the fun character cups and spoons.
I have been turned off lately, though. The last couple of times I found myself shooing away flies from the toppings before finally deciding against them altogether. Maybe try closing the door? I don’t know. But they should find a solution ASAP. The froyo and rewards are good enough to keep me coming back but we eat with our eyes first and I’m close to losing my appetite.

No wonder this place is always packed. The yogurt is tasty and always of the highest quality. The topping options are never ending, with fresh fruit and yummy candy. The place is always clean. It doesn’t get much better than Yogurtland.

I go to this yogurtland with my GF every weekend. It’s the perfect ending to any night. My favorite flavors include the espresso, plain yogurt and peanutbutter!
Locaion: it’s walking distance from sdsu and there are residential places nearby. It’s a nice location for family, friends and kids. It can get quite busy but it comes in waves.
Self service: you can get as much ypgurt as you want and if you get there rewards card you can get free ounces of yogurt! Free is always good in my book. They have a massive selection of toppings also.
Customer service: the employees here have always greeted with smiles laced with sample cups :) I like that they all greet and say thanks to all customers who walk in&out. Never had any bad experience in this area.
All in all a great place to relax and stuff your gullet full of tasty yogurt. A great alternative to ice cream! Great rotating flavors (altho I wish they kept some of the awesome flavors like coffee).

Everything is just perfection here. I love how they always have new flavors each time I visit. The quality of the yogurt is in between creamy and tarty, also doesn’t melt away as fast as other places. Self served is always a plus. The staff are friendly and they’re constantly wiping down and keeping things clean/​organized as customers are making a mess of themselves only for more customers to make the same mess, lol. Good job to this business, and thank you! It has definitely grown since the very first time I’ve been here when they first opened. I’m always going to stop by for more treats!

3.5 ish… but I love yogurtland… but this one is in a ghetto ass location. it’s near state and I’m sure the area cleaned up a bit, but I did encounter some shady people…
They have a great selection of frozen yogurt and toppings. The price is a bit more expensive than in Irvine, but I think they only have 2 locations in SD (the other in PB). The yogurt kinda melted a bit faster than usual.
Why am I saying it’s ghetto? Saw some guys who were dressed like «thugs» use the sample size cups to just eat yogurt and not pay for it. Poor workers, didn’t notice and probably wouldn’t have said anything because those guys were huge! When you get deeper into City Heights going east… yeeeeeah.

Yogurtland is self serve and always has great toppings. The location is really ghetto, next to Vons off college/​el cajon blvd. There were some dudes trying to sell me «cologne» in the parking lot haha.
Not a bad spot to pop in and get some fro yo to go.

The place is always clean and kept up well with their flavors.
However, this time I didn’t have very friendly customer service.
Ava was giving Natalia commands what to do in an almost aggressive manor.
Not okay to do, especially not around customers. This was not worth the money, and destroyed our moods

I’m a sucker for their plain tart with strawberries, granola & almonds– not a big fan of candies and super sugary toppings but if you’re into that, they have plenty
With their survey coupons (on receipt) & rewards program I’m constantly getting free ounces of yogurt– who doesn’t love free?
Can’t get enough!

I prefer this yogurt spot over Golden Spoon any day. My husband and I always argue which is better so let me tell you the same reasons I tell him:
1) Self-​serve: This means I can be a fat ass if I want to (I usually want to). I can mix up as many flavors as I want to (combine chocolate with green tea and no one looks at you weird). I can throw on as many toppings as I want to. I can pile as high as I want to. I can even put toppings at the bottom of the cup if I want to.
2) Asian style toppings and flavors: I’m half Taiwanese so I grew up on weird shit, like fish heads and BBQ dog and pig intestines and I don’t always like to drive to Clairemont to get my fix. I live in La Mesa so this is just close enough for red bean (the topping and filling of the dessert gods), tapioca jellies, lychee fruit, condensed milk, and taro yogurt to hit my lips.
3) Late night: This place is open until midnight. That is all.
4) College life: For all you pervs out there, you’ll always see girls getting yogurt in yoga pants post-​workout and who doesn’t love girls in yoga pants!!!
All together, I love the vibe here. Lights are bright, music is upbeat, clean bathrooms, toppings are always stocked, the flavors always change, and the service has been good.
If you subscribe to their mailing list, you’ll get emails about when their flavors change and if you want condensed milk, you have to ask the employees because they have to keep it in the refrigerator.
If I did not care about my goals at the gym then I would be here every single day. Probably multiple times. Hope this helps Unilocalers!
