My sons and I operate Tony’s Best Way Cleaning, a unique, custom, full service carpet, floor and fabric care company serving San Diego County for 38 years. Our goal is to provide the value of high-​quality service with visibly effective results preformed by clean-​cut educated technicians. We use the best cleaning methods available and are committed to excellent service and we guarantee your satisfaction.

Meet the Manager

Manager

Tony started life in a communist-​controlled country. The eldest in his large family in desperately poor times, Tony never knew luxury –especially as he soon took on the lion’s share of providing for his ten siblings.

As a 19 year old, Tony and his family immigrated to Ohio, USA due to the benevolence of his new country and true friends.

At about the age of 30, Tony, his wife, Erica, and three children moved to San Diego and in 1971 opened Tony’s Best Way. As the business evolved, Tony and Erica decided that their business needed to be of a higher quality than their competition.

There were many «dime a dozen» cleaners out there, but not many who put good cleaning results first. Thy decided their niche in San Diego would be high quality cleaning that is just that. As one of Tony’s favorite sayings goes, «The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.»

Tony and his sons James and Michael still operate Tony’s Best Way today.

I received another message from this company … I’m glad they are worried about their reviews, but first impressions of a business are a big deal! I still think your phone quote was outrageous for a small space. I’m sure your employees are professional and do a good job, and you seem to do a lot more than just clean carpets, but that still doesn’t justify the the high quote I was given. Your reviews all seem to be great and I’m glad you have happy customers. I wish you the best and continued success in your business.

Soooo happy with the results! I wish I would have taken before and after photos! Our son wet the bed again and it smelled so bad. I called around different cleaning companies for quotes on mattress cleaning. I decided to go with Tony’s, even though it was a bit pricier, they had guaranteed satisfaction and seemed most confident that they could get me the results I was looking for. And even though it was on the pricey side, they got the job done & I couldn’t be happier! I mean I saw some other reviews with complaints on prices but in my opinion, I’m willing to pay a little more for guaranteed results. My thought was let’s pay a little more to have it done right the first time versus getting a «good deal» but not having the results I was expecting and having to pay someone again to try again. The guys were friendly and professional. They new what they were doing. And didn’t mind me watching from time to time. I’m paranoid and wanted to make sure I wasn’t being ripped off. And I wasn’t! They stuck with what I was quoted and results were amazing! Would definitely recommend them!

My next door neighbor was using them… she said they were good so I asked them to come over for a quote. The price was right and they did the carpets right after they got done with the neighbors. Two guys, both respectful. Got the job done fast and it looks good. I would use them again.

My wife and I are TOTALLY IMPRESSED with Tony’s. We awoke the other day to the pungent smell of cat urine emanating from our carpet. A call to Tony’s and they were here by mid-​afternoon, We were overdue for a carpet cleaning, so we did the rest if the house. But the key is the way they focused so strongly and smartly on the cat urine.
They cleaned it and over cleaned it. They pulled up the carpet and cleaned the underside, the pad and the baseboard. Then they cleaned the carpet even more.
Turns out that kitty had been doing her business in that location for quite a while. The techs from Tony’s showed us how and where. They came back two times to clean some more and help get rid of the residual smell (no extra charge). Their commitment was to do whatever it took to clean the carpet and get rid of the stench.
They had lots of helpful suggestions to prevent a repetition. I know they can’t guarantee the cat won’t offend again; but if she does, we’re calling Tony’s.

I used Tonys Best Way today for carpet cleaning in the bedrooms and tile and grout cleaning in the bathrooms. I was told they’d arrive between 9 and 10am, and I received a phone call at 9:10 letting me know they were ‘running late’ and would arrive at 9:30. I really appreciated the call, even though they were still arriving between the times originally planned. The two men who conducted the work were friendly and professional, and the work was completed very quickly. They did a great job of removing a dark stain in one of the bedrooms that had been there since we moved into our apartment, and all the surfaces look great. The price was fair (they told me exactly what it would cost upfront and explained what the price included as well as a few additional extras I could pay for if I wanted), and they gave me a free bottle of spot cleaner as they were leaving. Overall I’m really pleased with the job they did, and highly recommend Tony and his team if you’re looking for a carpet/​floor cleaner in San Diego.

We have used Tony’s Best Way Cleaning for several years and the fact that we don’t even try to call anyone else speaks volumes. They are prompt, professional, friendly and do an amazing job. James cleaned our carpets yesterday and he’s one of the most pleasant people I’ve done business with in a long time. As a bonus, they left us with a bottle of cleaner (and it works amazingly well) for spot cleaning in between visits. They are very reasonable. Sure, maybe someone is cheaper but you get what you pay for and I think that they deliver great value. Highly recommend!

Tony’s cleaned and refinished my travertine floors last year and they were like new. This month they cleaned my hardwood floors and took my oriental rugs away to be cleaned. Everything looks brand new! I am extremely pleased. Both crews were efficient, careful with my things and instructive as how to maintain the floors. Excellent service.

Tony’s Best Way Cleaning is simply wonderful. First they were highly recommended from friends as well as the owners of La Jolla Vacuum (also amazing). From the moment I called and was politely greeting by Gloria who answered all my questions and gave me a rough estimate of the costs to the gentlemen who did the work I was super impressed. Gabe and Mike showed up on-​time, gave me an estimate within about 15 minutes upon arrival and then got to work. They cleaned large and small area rugs and my sofa in about 2.5 hours. They were professional, quick and cleaned up after themselves nicely. They did NOT come in and soak my furniture or rugs with lots of solution or water. They used very little water and a unique cleaning machine to get the maximum, effective clean. They were very knowledgeable on how to clean my wool rugs, answered all the questions I had about how to clean up soils in the future and gave me all the particulars on preserving my nicely cleaned rugs/​sofa. My rugs look brand new and my sofa looks amazing as well. I would highly recommend Tony’s Best Way Cleaning for fast, friendly, professional, knowledgeable cleaning.

This was our first time using Tony’s Best and we were not disappointed! James and Thomas arrived on time and were great to work with and very knowledgeable. They cleaned the following areas in our home; travertine flooring in our kitchen and laundry area (all businesses we had contacted before Tony’s Best said they didn’t clean travertine), full kitchen and master bathroom granite cleaning and polishing and carpet cleaning with scotch guard in 3 rooms. We will definitely call them again for the cleaning and polishing of our home’s wood floors and tiles in all the bathrooms.

Look no further for all of your cleaning needs, I initially called Tony’s Best Way Cleaning, to handle some persian/​afghan rugs that where way overdue for a good cleaning, these guy’s arrived the following day, and earlier than anticipated, which worked perfectly for me, the first team to arrive was Ronnie & Gabe, they measured the rugs and gave me a price, then James & Michael showed up and got to work. The results where amazing, I happened to ask if they cleaned furniture, as our couches where also overdue for a cleaning, YES they took care of two large couches and an armchair too, they worked fast and got the job done and as an added bonus, I had a wine stain on a large Chobi rug in our media room and they both took care of that and cleaned the entire rug for no charge and eliminated the stain, how awesome is that?
It is very rare in today’s world where you find a company that really cares about the customer, from booking the appointment with Rachel to the end result, Tony’s Best, far exceeded my expectations and Tony, you should be proud of your team… Thanks guys for doing a first class job.

Would like to thank Tony’s Best for their wonderful customer service, prompt and courteous technicians and a job well done!
I phoned on a Friday and was scheduled for a carpet cleaning the following Monday. It just so happened that Gabe (the technician for the job) was available two hours earlier than my scheduled appointment (which was not a problem). I had awful stains running from the front door of my apartment into the dining room and was a little sketchy that he would be able to clean them up successfully. Reason being is that the company my leasing office uses to clean our carpets never gets rid of the stains even after a week; the yucky tracks always resurface. So a week after I promised to leave a review the stains are still gone and my carpets never looked or felt better to walk on. Gabe let me know that the doormat we used was a big reason for the gnarly stains so it was replaced hours after.
I appreciate the service and am recommending your company to all my family and friends. It was worth the price I paid.

Tony’s Best way is horrible, the owner is a clown. They use the typical bait and switch tactics to get you and you end up paying more than u expected. We have so many choices here so go with another company and save your self some grief.

I have two dogs so I try to get my carpets cleaned every 3 – 4 months
