The Trim Lounge

As with all the services that delight me, I am half tempted to try to keep them a secret (and not Unilocal about them). Well, the cat will be out of the bag soon enough, so let me be the first to Unilocal about the Trim Lounge.
Nicole Hall has opened her own salon after having worked in and around Pacific Beach for 10 years or so – or at least that’s as long as she’s been cutting my hair. I am thrilled with (and for) Nicole. This is a long-​awaited, big step for her. For me, it’s wonderful to have a stylist as good as she who is also a fun, personable, and upbeat individual. She remembers every detail about my life as I do with many of the details of hers, so when I come in for a cut, we pick up where we left off.
Tonight, I brought with me a picture of myself from 10 years ago. (I wanted to get that style again.) Without hesitation, Nicole remarked, «Oh I remember that haircut.,» and I am sporting that style again.
You can’t go wrong with Nicole. Just don’t book up all of her time. Leave some for me.
