Advantages of Sugaring:

Sugaring works with our body temperature. As we mold the Sugar on it melts into the pores, wraps around the follicle & pulls the hair out in its natural direction popping the hairs out by the roots, improving ingrown hair issues dramatically & causing hair to get softer, finer and more sporadic.

History

Established in 2007.

I got into this industry because of my own skin issues and severe ingrown hair problems. I hoped to learn secrets to the trade so I could transform damaged skin & teach clients to better care for their skin. Sugaring is a hobby to me. I waxed before I ever became an Esthetician, waxed for several years & have been Sugaring since 2006. I will NEVER go back to waxing! My passion for Alexandria Professional Hair Removal continues to grow everyday & I look forward to teaching new Sugarist the Alexandria’s Technique of removing unwanted hair & growing in this industry

I was born and raised in Pacific Beach. I’ve been Sugaring with Alexandria Professional Hair Removal since 2006 & waxed for years before that. I have always had horrible ingrown hair problems & skin issues. I enjoy teaching & encouraging my clients how to take better care of their skin so they are able to see & feel the improvement from waxing and shaving. I started sugaring because I had constant ingrown hairs on my legs. I’ve tried waxing and laser hair treatment but stuck with sugaring because of the decent rate (unlike laser treatment) and its sensitive method (unlike waxing). Ive been going to Molly’s for 2 consecutive years and can’t see myself going anywhere else. Not only does she have good rates but she also educates you on how to avoid having troublesome ingrown hairs. Whether you are a first timer or want to find a great sugar spot to commit to Molly’s Sugar Shack is the place to go!

I have been coming to Molly for years. She is always amazing and has made my skin so much better over the time I have seen her. I suffer from I frowns hairs and it has been a gigantic pain my entire life, enter Molly and the sugar Shack. Molly’s Sugar Shack is the best place to go for the best hair removal! Sugaring is so much better for your skin than waxing! My unwanted hair doesn’t grow back as fast and my skin is smoother and glows after being at the sugar shack! Molly’s place is so relaxing and the atmosphere is so lovely! Mermaids and seashells are all about and it’s always super ultra clean! It’s right in the heart of Pacific Beach so that’s a plus too!;) Thank you Molly for the best service ever, and the sweetest!

BEST SUGARING IN SAN DIEGO. WAY BETTER THAN WAXING. This experience changed my life. My whole life I have struggled with ingrown hairs. When I met molly everything changed. I no longer have any ingrown hairs, just silky smooth. I have had brows, Brazilian, legs, lip done at Molly’s Sugar Shack and have had AMAZING experiences. She really is the best in San Diego. Not to mention, she makes you feel like family. Really interesting all natural sugar method. Sugaring does NOT take a layer of skin off like hot wax does. Sugaring is really neat. LOVE IT. I am not an avid Unilocaler, but I had to get on here after all these wonderful times at Molly’s Sugar Shack. Fantastic family owned business.

I just recently got my eyebrows done personally by Molly and it was the best I’ve ever seen. I have paid $ 40+ multiple times to get them waxed and tinted and this was FINALLY well worth my money. NO breaking out after they wax since they use a sugar scrub, too. I will be going to her consistently from now on and am so happy I have finally found the one! Give her a shot if you are trying to get the perfect brow shape and tint :)

Molly personally called me bc she came across my review and saw I wasn’t happy with the facial I received. She is literally the sweetest woman and truly cares about her customers which is really refreshing! We talked about how to improve the service & some of the pros/​cons to my facial work Azure (a total sweetheart too with super soft hands!)
I came back in for another facial with azure and I left satisfied. Molly didn’t have to call me & offer another facial, free of charge, but she did and I am SO grateful!

I have been going to Azure for facials for over a year now and she is wonderful! She has a special way of making her clients feel at ease and she uses amazing high quality products on her clients. I’m writing this review on my husbands account cause he has one… Molly’s Sugar Shack Rocks! I love the cute beachy cottage ambiance. Azure does my facials and sugar. She is gentle but confident and always customizes each visit for my needs. The all organic Eminence products feel and smell so good– I’m over perfumed chemicals. I recently stopped breastfeeding and have been getting some pimples on my jawline and neck when I have not had pimples since I was a teen. Azure help to customize a new skincare regiment and made some other wholistic suggestions. I know Azure wants me to leave feeling beautiful and well cared for!

I love Molly’s Sugar Shack. I’ve been coming here since I moved to San Diego in January. I was worried about finding a new spot to get my Brazilian but after trying out Molly’s, I knew I had found my new place! It’s so peaceful and relaxing in there so you instantly feel at ease when you walk in. I have had Azure and Rebecca do my Brazilians and they have both been great. Brazilians are always a little painful but the calming ambiance really helps. I would definitely recommend Molly’s Sugar Shack to anyone looking for a place to get sugared!

I got a Brazilian sugaring and it was great! Rebecca was fantastic I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I loved that she had an awesome soundtrack playing in the background. A couple of my friends swear by Molly’s Sugar Shack and suggested I come here to try sugaring for the first time, while the time leading up to my appointment was awful (body hair grosses me out) the minute I stepped in the door to Molly’s Sugar Shack I felt at ease. My appointment was with Azure and I didn’t quite know what to expect out of the appointment, she explained how the Brazilian Sugaring is performed before starting and made sure to answer all of my questions and keep the mood light during the process. The results are amazing, far better than waxing/​shaving no ingrowns or razor burn! I will be back!

I had Molly do a Brazilian sugaring and it was my first time experience.
It did hurt more than waxing, however it had better results.
The environment was really relaxing which helped me relax and have a better experience.

I have pretty sensitive skin, and I’ve had some bad reactions to waxing in the past. One of my friends recommended sugaring as an alternative, so I went online and found Molly’s Sugar Shack. My first time there, I saw Molly and she was amazing. She talked me through the process and made it an enjoyable experience. I’ve been going there for about a year and a half, and I always look forward to my appointments. I usually see Azure now, though once in a while I see Molly too. They are both exceptional and I would highly recommend Molly’s Sugar Shack to anyone looking for a less painful, more natural way to remove skin.

Omg I love my vagina! I have always had issues with razor burn and ingrown hairs whether I shave, wax, etc. this was the first time I ever tried the sugaring hair removal and it is seriously magical.
I booked an appointment last minute and Molly was very accommodating and squeezed me in that same night. My appointment was with Azure and she was so lovely. She brought me back right on time, walked me through it, and was as gentle as possible. Although it doesn’t feel great she talked and kept me distracted the entire time. It has been one week and I am so in love with the results and I have never ever been this happy with the way my downstairs looks and feels!

If you’ve never been sugared, do it, and do it here! Molly (owner) is a seasoned vet when it comes to sugaring, you don’t even realize what’s happening!
She makes you feel comfortable, the room is «beachy» and filled with mermaid fun to look at. She always has great music on and the room has multiple fans/​heat lamps to make it the perfect temp during any season.
If you’re extremely picky like me and need a bazillion reviews to make you feel better, count me in. I highly recommend going to the Suga’ Shack and getting on a regular sugar schedule.
She works with you on price if you come consistently and it starts to feel more reasonable. I used to be a one timer (I’d come in sporadically) and I’d have sticker shock, but if you want less hair and finer hair you need to stay on top of it.
So suck it up girl! Never get burnt, red, broken blood vessels, or dry skin again! Waxing is out, sugaring is in :)
(Ps, while Molly is out on maternity leave, Ashley also rocks your socks! She’s as detailed as Molly and it’s like having a friend in the room with you, we talk, catch up, and she only requires one day out of my life every 3 – 4 weeks!)
