All of our Tech’s have over 20 years experience in the construction industry and all have background check’s run on them before being allowed to come on-​board our team of experts. We also perform random drug screening to insure that you receive top performance at all times.

We are a one call does it all company. We do not use subcontractors in any of our repairs which saves you the consumer money. From hanging pictures and mirrors to replacing that noisy garbage disposal or complete renovations of your kitchens, Baths or complete renovation of your home you will not find a quicker more convenient company to work with than The Handyman

History

Established in 2007.

Our business spawned out of several friends being in the construction industry for decades wanting to create a quality home improvement company that addresses the needs of the consumers and not the companies.

We promote consumers knowledge of their homes and inform them on simple repairs they can perform themselves without the need for hiring a professional. We also like to make them aware of their water and gas shut off valves in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.

We also promote going green with products and services that reduce energy consumption and are all in all better for the environment we live in and the world as a whole.

We are committed to customer satisfaction and a quality product with every client we service and I as the owner have a very hands on approach to each and every client I am always accessible and visible to them at all times during any project.

Hi I would like to introduce myself my name is Derrick I am the owner of The Handyman I started this company with the goal of providing a quality service at a fair price.

I have lived in San Diego since 1964 and I have worked on thousands of homes over the course of those years. and completed countless remodels and room additions as well.

My experience through all of those jobs has made me an expert in nearly every aspect of the construction industry from electrical to plumbing concrete to drywall room additions to new construction our company truly does provide a one call does it all experience to all our clients.

I would be honored to add you to our lists of happy clients and be «The Handyman» you call for all your home or business needs.
