Steer clear of this firm, in my humble opinion they are just a law boiler room. I paid them $ 2500 to handle a simple case. I still had to return to court without them and yielded better results with the public defender. Sloppy paperwork, lack of communication, poor performance.

I hired this guy to help me get out of a dui a while back. I had blown .05 and blood tested .08. They know what they’re doing in the sense that they sold me on retaining them. Told me that the reason my blood alcohol was higher the second time is cuz of the stress and adrenaline from being arrested. It was an easy case! In the end, Eric didn’t return calls, he asked me to show up in court and then forgot that he had told me that, he didn’t ever tell me what he was working towards in my case. Since I had friends with higher blood alcohol get their cases reduced to an infraction or dismissed all together, I thought for sure he’d do something. He did absolutely nothing for me. I still paid the fines plus attorney fees, still had to do the classes, etc. I wouldn’t recommend this guy if he was the last attorney on earth. I paid him 5 times what others asked cuz I thought he was good. Little did I know he wouldn’t help at all.

After making a series of bad judgements, I found myself stuck in a legal bind with a DUI. While panicking, I sought an acquaintance in the legal field who, while not specializing in criminal law, highly recommended someone who was well respected and reputed to be sought after for his professional work. After contacting Mr. Erik A. Friis, from the outset he aggressively pursed my case, approaching both the DMV and the state with concerted vigor. Importantly, someone who is knowledgeable about the court system, he guided me through the tricky hurdles and pitfalls, while constantly maintaining open communication to inform me of the moving circumstances. In short, he’s there for you not only as a legal advocate, but navigating you through at times the deceptively convoluted legal system. Having your best interests at heart, he’s very communicable, reliably accessible when you require answers to confusing questions. Moreover, there’s a very human element with which he creates an emphatic repertoire with the client, which you may not necessarily find in other legal representatives.
After months of concern, needless to say, Mr. Erik A. Friis helped me result in an outcome I can only express was beyond my most optimistic expectation. Words can barely convey my gratitude. I highly recommend you contact Mr. Erik A. Friis if you find yourself in legal troubles. Professionally and psychologically (particularly at such testing times), he will be there for you.
P. S. If you’re thinking of circumstances leading to a trial (though I didn’t require such services), there’s this glint in his eyes when he relates about his trial experiences, as if he’s relishing the scrum awaiting in the courtroom. I’d imagine you want someone impassioned like him to be in your side when tough gets going.

I found Superior Law Center online. First I spoke with Sam Gagliano. Sam was great, very helpful, encouraged me to shop around, and made me feel really comfortable about hiring Attorney Erik Friis. I indeed did shop around. There were some cheaper, and some expensive. The cheaper law firms I spoke to were very untimely with communication and the more expensive law firms just could not be justified on the cost.
I did my research on Superior Law Center, Sam, the rest of the staff and Erik Friis. Some people had nice things to say, and some people didn’t. Despite some of the bad reviews I saw online, I went with them anyways and I will tell you why.
Superior Law Center has excellent customer service. They always picked up the phone or called me back within an hour. Whether it was an administrative matter, or I had to speak to my attorney Erik Friis, I was always kept in the loop. They were on top of my case. Erik Friis himself would be the one to call me and talk to me about my case, not an assistant.
I won’t go into deep details, but Erik Friis under promised and over delivered results to me. I was prepared for the worst. I was told that the court may fine me, and I might have a criminal record for a period of time.
What would have been an 18 month misdemeanor, further dropped to an infraction on my record (IF I was good) turned into the case just being dismissed entirely! I didn’t have to pay any additional court fees, no record, and I never once had to show up in court, or the law office. I can’t thank him enough.
Erik Friis and Superior Law Center were amazing to work with. I highly recommend them for your legal matters to stay above the law.

Was promised the world at twice the price of every other firm in town. They delivered nothing. Eric didnt do a damn thing but show up. I could have done better myself by doing absolutely nothing and save myself 8000 dollars. I dont think he spent more than 6 hours, including court time, on my case. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FIRM! Am going to seek fee dispute through San Diego Bar Fee Arbitration.

Terrible Experience with this law firm! I was promised an excellent result, and I got a below average lawyer with no fight. I saw them on the internet and hiring them was the worst mistake of my life. MY BAC was .089 and I still got the DUI charge. He tried to say he got me a wet reckless but it was automatic. They did nothing and charged me over 3500.00! STAY AWAY! Terrible!
