Here are just a few reasons why I recommend Sam Spital. Aside that he personally takes calls at night and weekends and is a workaholic; because he loves his job. Mr. Spital is an excellent attorney and I believe he is THE BEST DEFENSE ATTORNEY!!! I have been doing business with Mr. Spital professionally for years.
He is personable, professional, and full of knowledge about the justice system as well as the California Medical Board and Board of Registered Nursing. Sam is a man with great integrity and is genuine. I highly recommend this man for any legal needs. Furthermore, Mr. Spital has high moral character; he doesn’t take all cases. There are many Registered Nurses and physicians who have had convictions or misdemeanors prior to getting their license or even during their career. Mistakes happen and people make poor choices. Mr. Spital does everything in his power to defend his clients professional license. He is not a lawyer in the business for money. Rather, his passion for law and protecting his clients license and dignity is Mr. Spitals priority. Personally, I don’t want an RN or physician who has had any issues pre-​licensure or during; providing care to myself for my family members. These individuals have no business working in patient care and lack the ability to critically think and make the choices for their patients. There is a standard of practice that all practitioners must follow and quite simply there is a reason for boards of licensure and that is to ensure safe patient care is and will be met by professionals. Quality nurses and doctors will provide best practice to their patients. Similarly, quality lawyers will provide quality services to their clients. I highly recommend Mr. Spital and if you are looking for an attorney who will not only provide quality and a person with ethics who will fight for you, this is the attorney for you.

I enlisted Sam because I was denied to sit for my RN license because I was cited on my LVN lic for non disclosure of a misdemeanor that I received 15 years at the time of application. Sam worked on my case and struck a «deal» with the board. I was able to sit for the exam with the stipulation that I would have a public reprimand and my whole criminal record which consisted of 4 misdemeanors from 15 years ago attached to my license. Long story short, and $ 10,000 later I am left with an RN license that is basically useless, all stemming from non disclosure of a misdemeanor unbenounced at the time of my LVN application, not from my nursing practice whatsoever. Even after serving as a medic in the military for 5 years?! I am on the National Practitioner Database which I was not even on it while I practiced as an LVN for 4 years. I cannot get a job, no one will hire me due to the public reprimand and I really wish I would not have trusted Sam and his assistant Elizabeth. I am now in the process of changing my career. Even after the $ 10,000, Sam asked for another $ 2,000. This was absurd especially when i paid $ 10,000 for a license that is virtually useless. This guy is a crook and not looking out for your best interest. Typical money hungry lawyer. Beware and stay away from this crooked SOB

I did a phone consultation with Sam and he spent over 30 minutes giving me free advice as to what I could do as opposed to hiring an attorney. He was very honest and told me I would spend more money with him than I would actually recover. I had a child custody attorney and he promised me the world and took all my money. I appreciate Sam’s honesty.

Sam Spital is a total crook… A tiger doesn’t change his stripes, right? Just google his name and you will read about his 1.8 million dollar settlement «that his firm botched a product liability lawsuit and then claimed that the client was insane in the hope of covering the mistake.» I wish I would’ve read this prior to hiring him.
I pulled out of my retirement account to pay Sam to help with my professional licensure after a DUI. I never once even got to meet with the man, or his associate, Elizabeth; despite my attempts when hand delivering checks to pay him off. Always too busy or not in the office. His results were minimal at best: I feel I would’ve received the same results without a lawyer, and his bills never stop coming in. In fact, I have often wondered how he is working so diligently on my case when it seems he spends an absurd amount of time itemizing your bill.
Here is a direct quote from an email that he sent me when I requested a meeting with him in person to discuss my case… an email that he tried to bill me several hundred dollars for writing, because it took him «30 mintues» to concoct.
«Frankly, when we meet with a client in-​person, we have found they invariably ask questions about their case, some of which have already been answered and others that we desire they provide via email so that Elizabeth and I can strategize and afford an immediate reply.
· I am sure you agree that it takes a considerably greater amount of time for an in-​person consult than a teleconference, as we begin and end an office conference with customary and friendly discourse, take detailed notes of the questions and answers, and then I draft a memorandum of the meeting to summarize the conversation and any advice rendered in order to share between Elizabeth and I.»
So, again, I would NOT advise wasting your $ 10,000+ on someone who cannot take the time to have you «ask questions about your case» or «customary and friendly disclosure»…especially when you get poor results in the end

Sam helped me with an auto accident recently and was on it every step of the way. He was available pretty much ²⁴⁄₇ and as soon as something came up, he was on top of it. I could not be more pleased with his service and honesty. Thank you for your help Sam and I highly recommend him to everyone.
