I went here about last month with my mom and sister and we had Maya do our brows, it was all of our first time’s so we didn’t really know what to expect. But we all said that it felt like our skin was being tugged really hard or that pieces of skin were being plucked off. I tried so hard to reassure myself and relax but I couldn’t and my brows kind of burned afterwards. Other than that our brows looked nice and clean.

I just went in to get my upper lip threaded for the first time today. It was a little uncomfortable but the lady helping me was very fast. The threading only took 1 – 2 minutes and with paying and everything I was in and out in 5. The redness on my lip went away within 3 – 4 minutes after I left. Great experience and I will be returning! If anyone is wondering when would be a good time to go, I went at 4pm on a Tuesday and it was pretty much empty.

This place is amazing! I was greeted when I walked in and was helped immediately. I went to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time. I was little nervous as I heard it was rather painful. However, Maya was very nice and very gentle. She stopped every once in a while to talk to me about the shape and what she wanted to do with my eyebrows. I love that she gave me her professional opinions as I’m not entirely educated on working with my face and face shape. She was very quick and I was out of there in 20 minutes! She was amazing and would definitely recommend her and this place!

Got my eyebrows threaded here a while back there for the first time, completely ruined them. She asked if I wanted to keep them thick, but made one very thin, and one thick. They still haven’t grown back right after months. On top of that there was only one lady in the store and I waited for twenty minutes. Would not recommend going here!

Sarah is one of the best at this place. She is not only good at threading but she is extremely sweet and caring. I have been going with her for a little less than a year now and she is definitely my favorite! If you give this place a visit ask for SARAH… You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been coming to super brows for almost 2 years now, I always get great customer service. It is a convenient location for me as I work nearby.
I can come in on my lunch break and get my brows shaped with no wait time.
If you come in anytime after 3 you might be waiting a few minutes longer than usual.
This review, however is to acknowledge SARAH. I’ve been seeing her since sometime of last year and after my very first visit with her I promised myself to never put my brows in anyone else’s hands but hers. Im uncomfortable seeing a different person each time but even when I’d see someone 2x or 3x I didn’t usually get consistent results. I first came to Sarah with semi-​good brows. But Sarah took her time and gave them special TLC with each session, I fell more in love with my brows every time.
Not only does Sarah shape my brows to perfection EACH TIME, but she is also incredibly sweet. I joke with her saying she doesn’t even need to give me the mirror to show her masterpiece, I trust her that much lol .
I’ve recommended many of my friends and family to not only come to Super Brows Eastlake but to come and see SARAH .Now I’m telling you. You will not be disappointed. Super Brows, I really hope she is well taken care of because my crew and I will follow her where she goes.

I was referred by a friend and the place is very nice and clean. I’m giving them 3 stars because I told the person that threaded my eyebrows that I do not like them thin and I came out with a thinner tail and arc part of my brow. I’ll give them one more chance but this next time I’ll make sure to take a picture of my full eyebrow to show them that is exactly (or close) how I want them to look. My eyebrow is pretty full and I think they just get excited and remove more than needed.
My service was in January.

Came here soon after they opened on a weekday. 2 people working at the time, they already had a steady flow of customers… The salon is nice and clean, located on the second level, above Broken Yolk.
So I had my brows done the day before at another place close by, and they did a horrible job. Came here for the first time to see if they can fix it…
Once I got into the chair, my lady went right to work… She worked quickly, and was able to correct my brows. My brows looked much, MUCH cleaner and fuller. Also, when I told them that I had my brows done the day before, they reacted very concerned that it might have been one of their own that did such a bad job… I told them that it was done somewhere else.
It was just my first time here, but I’m very pleased with the final result… And the threading process itself seemed to hurt much less than the day before. I didn’t catch the name of the lady who helped me.
They also offer various deals… $ 1 off total with Unilocal check in… Come back with your receipt within 14 days and get $ 2 off… Punch card, free service after 6… Etc…
I’ll be back!

oh my goodness, words can’t describe how ecstatic I am about this place! Maya is the best, and I will most definitely be back… it’s my new brow spot! Today was my first day getting my eyebrows threaded and Maya did an amazing job. It looks way more shaped then when I get them waxed. It was not painful like I read about but it takes a little more time then waxing.
Overall, love love love! The shop is really clean and spacious. Customer service is great! (It was $ 12 plus tip for threading my eyebrows but totally worth it and they have stamp cards so after 7 visits you get a free thread). P. S. Save your receipt cause if you bring it back in 14 days you get $ 2 off your next bill and 14 days is plenty of time for your hair to grow and need working on. See Maya!!!

I like the quality of the work done to thread my eye brows and upper lip. The attitude of one of the employees seemed a bit off-​putting while I waited to be attended, but luckily I got attended by the other employee who seemed a lot friendlier.
The location is a bit complicated to get to on the upper level especially when you almost fall on the stairs from nothing being done about sitting water and jagged steps.

The ladies who do threading here are like goddesses! Great customer service and the chairs when waiting are comfy too. My only complaints would be: for one, it’s a little pricey. And two, I feel like they should have some sort of sign in sheet because they do get really busy once in awhile and at some points there are a ton of people waiting, so I feel like a sign in sheet would be helpful.
Other than that, great service and great people!

I am very particular about my eyebrows, same lady has done them for years, but I was in a hurry and really needed to get them done. I walked in this place a asked Sarah if she was up for the challenge. She beyond exceeded my expectations. I even went to the grocery store afterwards and had two people complement me on my eyebrows. Go see Sarah, all I know is that she is there on Mondays.

This place is incredible. A little pricey, but worth it. The seats were very comfortable, the customer service was outstanding, and the threading service was remarkable.
My eyebrows are perfect, exact to how I asked them to be cleaned and shaped.
Sarah was my threading lady and is greatly skilled, I highly recommend her.

I’m visiting San Diego and I was supposed to get my brows done before even going on this trip, but that didn’t happen. So I decided to go on trusty Unilocal to find a brow salon nearby, which lead me to Super Brows!
It is conveniently located in Eastlake Villages near Sprouts and upstairs from the Broken Yolk. Take the elevator upstairs and it leads you to a very clean and roomy salon. When I arrived, luckily, two customers were already paying, and I got seated right away. I told the sweet lady that it was my first time getting my brows threaded. She told me not to worry and that she will be as gentle as possible, which she was!
My brows were clean and spotless, and the price is amazing! Don’t forget to check in Unilocal to get $ 3 off. Can’t beat $ 9 for threaded brows. Unfortunately, being from Hawaii, the cheapest place to get brows threaded there is $ 17, so this place gets 5 stars for service and price from me! I will make sure to come here next time I’m in SD!
