I went in to try a promotional sandwich that I had seen advertisements of(the chicken parm sandwich). I was told that this location didn’t have the sandwich any longer. I asked if other locations might still have it and the woman who helped me said she didn’t know but most likely they do still have it. She was very rude in her delivery of this information. During the rest of my time there she appeared to be very annoyed in general. I opted for the tuna sandwich which was flavorless. I should have saved my money. I won’t be returning to this location again.

Tonight, we decided to hit up Subway after work. I wanted to wash my hands so I asked the lady for the token to get into the restroom. She looked at me, and looked back at the next customer as if she didn’t hear what I said. She took off her gloves and gave me the token and put the same gloves on. Talk about sanitary right!!! My friend Boris got a $ 5 foot long with every ingredient in it except for the green peppers. He told the lady that he wanted his sandwich to be big and he was asking for extra tomatoes. The lady refused to give him more than 10 pieces because of their strict policy of only giving 6 to every customer. Boris asked her if it was a rule and she said, «Yes, we only allow 6.» He was persistent and ignored her three times and continued to ask for more tomatoes. She told her co-worker what had happened and what she should do. The other lady said, «Sir, we are only allowed to give six pieces and she has already given you 10.» Boris replied, «Are you the Manager?!» and she said, «No, I’m not.» He said, «I have a friend who owns a franchise with his mother and they allow their customers to add as much as they want so please add some more tomatoes on my sandwich. I said Please.» They totally refused and persisted that they were not going to be able to close the sandwich which was totally untrue because she kept taking off the ingredients as if they had fallen off. After he ordered she asked what I was going to get and I said, «Oh, I’m good, I lost my appetite.» We sat down as Boris ate his foot long and afterwards he asked the lady what his manager’s name was and what number she could be reached at because they were going to hear from our lawyers at Parker Stanbury for him not being a satisfied customer. I know it sounds a bit much, but people sweep matters like this under the rug EVERY day. Every one has rights and if those are not met, you have every reason to complain. This was by far the WORST Subway I have ever gone to because of the lack of customer service provided.

Subway Seasons I call them, periods of time where it seems that Subway’s is the only place I can, want, should and have to eat. No other reason, but an unexplainable craving for those sandwiches. Sometimes I make my own creation and sometimes I order of the menu. In these times there is an additional reason to visit Subway’s «The Recession». Subway’s is again a place you’ll find me more often and especially for the ‘FIVE! FIVEDOLLARFOOTLOOOOOOOOONG!‘ Wheat, Spicy Italian, Swiss, Toasted, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Bell Pepper, Olives, Salt & Pepper and that’s it! …and this is the spot you’ll find me, simply because every Wednesday I find myself far away from LA in National City and around 3 O’clock it’s ‘FIVE! FIVEDOLLARFOOTLOOOOOOOOONG!’ time.
