Stuart Quick-Dry Carpet Cleaning

We had our carpets cleaned by Stuart Quick Dry in July 2015, and the reason I have taken so long to post a review is that I wanted to make sure the stain removal was permanent. We have had experience with other carpet-​cleaning companies when the carpets looked great – at first – but after a while «ghost» stains reappeared. In this case the stains are still gone, and we couldn’t be happier.
Jason did a great job, and was able to remove the great number of stains that had accumulated over many years. (I am embarrassed to say how many!) Jason was very gracious about helping us move some of our furniture and he never tried to upsell us. When he finished, we were concerned that the carpet would not dry quickly because there was a freak rainstorm that day. But we left the house for a couple of hours after he was finished, and when we got back the carpet was almost completely dry, with no odor at all.
We chose Stuart Quick Dry because their process is safe for our pet birds, and because of all the great reviews we saw on Unilocal.One thing you should know though, is that after the carpet dried it felt like it had a little residue on it. But that disappeared after vacuuming, so it’s all good.
We highly recommend them and plan to use them again. And this time we won’t wait so long to get our carpets cleaned!

I’ve had some bad experiences with other carpet cleaning companies, so I figured let’s give this one a try.
I’m glad I did! I have off white berber carpet, which for anyone who has berber carpet knows it seems to trap the stains and is kinda hard to clean. I have a 4 year old, two dogs and a husband (lol) so the carpets take a pretty good beating. They were honestly terribly stained with random spots everywhere.
I believe the guy who came to clean the carpets was the owner. He was on time and did a great job. The carpets for the most part looked brand new. He was quick but thorough. We’ll be using this company again for our carpet cleaning needs.

I would’ve been better off renting a rug doctor to clean my carpets. They doused my carpets with their cleaning solution and rubbed a big pad around it to soak up the moisture. This technique seemed to just evenly spread the dirt and grime around my floors. It also took 4 days to dry, and when it did dry, I walked on the carpets with my bare feet, and it felt disgusting. My carpets now have some sort of thick dried soapy residue on them. I also had them clean my rug, because I was told it would only cost an additional $ 10 due to my square footage being so low. I thought, why not? They’re professionals! I was so wrong about that. They completely ruined my favorite rug, and when I called to complain, they went out of their way to antagonize me, insult me, and call me a liar. As a retired business consultant, I am aware that this is a tactic used to skirt liability and avoid small claims court by beating their customers down to the point that they’ll just settle for a refund. Shame shame.

I have been using Stuart QD for at least 4 years now. April worked me right in when I realized that I had unexpected company coming. Mark called me ahead of time, as requested, so I could meet him. Once again, the service was very professional. The work was done (and carpets dried) very quickly. Mark was able to remove dirt and nasty (dog) stains from our aged carpets once again. Their fees are reasonable, as well. Thank you!

I found Stuart’s Quick Dry on Unilocal and really liked the reviews. I also liked that they work on Saturdays since I work from home during the week. I really liked that Angie answered the phone when I called and I could schedule an appointment on the first try — most other places are not open on Saturday and you have to leave a message and play phone tag to schedule an appointment. Tyler the technician who showed up was fantastic — super professional and friendly and was able to even get here before our scheduled timeframe and was in an out in an hour and a half. I loved that our carpets look amazing after Tyler was done and they were not damp at all like they have been from other carpet cleaners. I highly recommend Stuart Quick Dry :). What a FIND! Vet tells us our dog is having allergy probs and wondered if we might need to have our carpets cleaned. So went to Unilocal to search for carpet cleaners. Called one of the «As seen on TV» major companies and they LOST ME with «How many stairs to you have? if more than 15 we charge you more» Needless to say I had 16.
Called Stuart Quick Dry and spoke with April (who is just lovely!) Got a great price… then added my moms little unit and even added our office since he was going to be in Encinitas that day anyway. All 3 are FABULOUS! In fact, dare I say that my family room that always has a rather worn area in front of the couch looks BRAND NEW! NO OTHER CARPET CLEANER has gotten that area as clean.
Give them a call, you will not be sorry. Good job, very courteous and I just can’t say enough about them. Our office (The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce) gives the 2 thumbs up!

Could not have asked for better service, quality, professionalism, results, and best of all furniture ready for use within 4 hours. We had five pieces of furniture cleaned that had not been cleaned for at least five years. Highly recommend the company.

We were debating on whether to have the carpet on our stairs cleaned or just having them removed and replaced with wood laminate like the rest of our house. I’m really glad I opted to have them cleaned. I did a Unilocal search and found three companies in my area that had top ratings. Two of the three companies required a minimum of $ 150 to do any job. I emailed Stuart Quick-​Dry and received a prompt response from April with a quote for cleaning two stair cases and a small landing. It was only $ 89. I couldn’t believe what a great deal that was with the added bonus of having a great rating on Unilocal.Especially considering the hassle and how much it costs to rent a machine and do the cleaning on my own. I would pay that cost any day and avoid all the hassle. A few more emails between April and I and I was all set. Stuart Quick-​Dry was out in two days to do the job. Mark was great! He called to let me know that he was on his way and he showed up within the two hour window I was given. Mark was very professional, courteous and quick. He did a wonderful job on both staircases and the landing. He even managed to get out a couple of tough stains that I had resolved could not be cleaned. The only additional cost I was charged was the $ 5 to use a credit card and I have come to accept that with many businesses. I could not be happier with the results and I will definitely be using Stuart Quick-​Dry in the future.

I had the carpets in my living room and dining room cleaned around 8:30 a.m. and they’re already almost dry. It’s only 11 a.m. Mark was very nice and got the cleaning done SUPER quick. The carpet looks FANTASTIC. He also cleaned our rug and it looks brand new. I definitely will be using their services again!

They did a fantastic job and arrived on time. Mark was in and out within 90 minutes the carpets looked great. (A hard task being I have 2 dogs). Great Job!

What a wonderful experience! I called rather last minute on a Wednesday, but April kindly fit me in to an early Friday appt. Mark called when he was on his way and arrived right on time (within my 7 – 8 AM slot). He did a quick assessment of our five areas to be cleaned, briefly explained his process and got right to work. Our carpets look AMAZING and he got the work done in less than 1.5 hours! We’ve found out new carpet cleaning company for sure. Cannot recommend Stuart’s highly enough. Thanks April and Mark! :)

I had a 9 – 10 am window. At 8:45 I received a call that the tech would be here in 25 minutes and, in 25 minutes, he was at my door! Tyler was thorough, professional, friendly and efficient. Excellent rates! Carpets I was thinking might be due for a replacement are now ready for company. (Wish I had taken before and after photos.) The quick-​dry (might have been a bit slower than normal on yesterday’s dreary May-​gray day) made it possible to have my carpets cleaned in the morning for dinner guests in the evening. I’m sold! I’ll call Stuart Quick-​Dry again, but won’t wait so long in between jobs next time.

Easy Booking, quotes honored, thorough, professional, and arrived with in the window given. I have read a couple of reviews in regards to the arrival times please be aware when booking to pay attention to the window given. Ex. 11AM-​1PM does not mean they will arrive at 11AM they might not arrive until 12:59PM. This is still within the window given. I have used this company regularly and will continue to do so.

My carpet looks so fabulous; it is exactly what I wanted. I have been looking for this exact color all over the place. They were able to take my vision and find exactly what I wanted. Not only do they sell the carpet but they make sure that they have all the right products needed to keep my carpet in top shape. They did a good job with the bedroom carpet and stairs and at a fair price.
The only things I wish they would have done differently was:
1. show up during their estimated time of arrival. The tech showed up 30 minutes past the estimated time frame.
2. I wished they had communicated about the closet carpeting… they didn’t include it in the service and I wish they had or at least let me know they were going to skip it. I would have gladly paid an additional fee to have the closets done if they had communicated that prior to me finding out after the guy left.
On a positive note; they were able to schedule me quickly (next day) and their quoted price was upheld.

Wow!!! I have tried a lot of companies in the past. Steam cleaning to organic. I called three companies to get a quote because my carpet is older steam cleaning tends to bring up the stains from the padding. All three companies were about the same price wise, but Stuart Quick dry was by far the most helpful and courteous on the phone. April explained everything to me and was able to get a technician out quickly even during the holidays!
After 5 days, my carpets look amazing, no stains pop

My carpets look good, there was no deodorizer so i honestly had a wet carpet smell for almost a full daydrying only took 2 – 3 hours though. so LOTS of febreeze. LOTS!!! to get rid of the smell
but they got some difficult stains out. I do prefer the ones where they have the handle to the truck outside it might be all in my head but it feels cleaner
but for some good points: 1. i got an appointment the next day
2. it took just over an hour
3. can swipe your CC on their phone ($ 5 fee though)
but i never got a call to say they were on my way so my dogs were all at the front door. I always ask for a phone call so i can corral the dogs into the back yard that was kinda grr. I was about to call to see where the guy was since it was almost 20 mins past my appointment window but seriously not a big deal. the guy was nice and professional.
