In business since 2006. Started out carpet cleaning San Diego with commercial office accounts and cleaning downtown high rises. Then, quickly stepped it up to cleaning carpet, upholstery, & tile/​grout in residential homes within the same year helping to create awareness for quality services like zero soap residue, green, sanitizing steam, and the highly sought after fast dry service. My carpets look brand new! Woo Hoo! Mario did an excellent job cleaning my living room, dining room, long hallway, and 2 bedrooms. It all took about 2 hours (drying time included). I love that my carpets were pretty much dry by the time he left! My only «complaint» was that he was supposed to be there between 10−11am but arrived a little after noon. However, he did call to let me know he was running late and since I wasn’t super rushed for time I was ok with that. Will definitely call Mario for any future carpet cleaning needs.

I am ashamed to say that in 8 years of owning carpet I have have had it professionally cleaned. I have always done it myself with a small cleaner — well never again. I am now a true believer! This service is so well worth the investment my carpets look totally new again and Mario busted out the stairway in about an hour, which has the worst hooks and crannies — and puppy spots all over. Thanks for going above the beyond!

We’ve been using precision carpet cleaning for almost 6 years now and without hesitation, Mario is the best I’ve used. He has «tricks» for removing stains that no one else seems to know. Most companies I’ve used in the past look like they do a good job, but then within a couple days the stains resurface. Not with Mario. We were on a 6 month cleaning schedule with Mario because we have two little kids that haven’t quite grasped the concept of not making a mess of everything including food. If your looking for a bargain cleaning service that you won’t have to live with, look elsewhere. While he’s not the cheapest (you really do get what you pay for) he’s not the most expensive either, yet, he does a great job. Yes he’s been a little late, but, he calls to let you know. These days your lucky to even have a serviceman show up!

Precision Carpet is the first and ONLY carpet cleaning company I call. I have used the services of this company on several occasions. The work is of such high quality and the cost is very reasonable, why would I call anyone else?! Mario is a really nice guy to boot. It’s a win-​win every time. By the way, I’ve hired him for commercial and residential jobs and he does not disappoint.
Most recently, I moved into a new condo where the management company told me that the carpets had been professionally cleaned. When I arrived, I was astonished to find a strong, foul carpet odor. It smelled like a wet dog. Just ICK! So, I called Mario to see if he could come on the weekend, while the place was still empty. He came the SAME DAY! Where else can you get that kind of responsive service? And what a huge difference! Now, I can feel confident that the carpets really are actually clean!
My only regret is that I didn’t write this review sooner. For years I’ve told people about Precision Carpet and given out their business cards, but nowadays, Unilocal is where people turn for reviews. When we get good customer service, we should be quick to praise. We sure do it when we’re unhappy! Just doing my part here. Mario is one of the good guys!

I moved into the townhome and the carpet was DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. Property Managers from «Real Property Management» claimed that the prior tenants who moved out a month before I moved in had the carpets cleaned professionally and provided a receipt to prove it. There’s no way in hell I could believe that story… I couldn’t even walk bare foot in my new home because I was afraid and disgusted of the carpet. I was referred to Mario with Precision Carpet cleaning and I was impressed with his professionalism and work ethic. I highly recommend him. He did an excellent job especially with what I had to start with. Carpets look amazingly clean! Thanks Mario! Definitely recommend!

Couldn’t have asked for a better job or more professional person. He called ahead of time to ensure that I was available and still ready, and showed up when scheduled. When he arrived we discussed the stains that I had on my carpets and what he was going to do to get them out. His prices are reasonable and worth every penny.

We’ve lived in this home for 20 years and in that time have gone through so many carpet cleaning companies, large and small, it just boggles the mind. The one thing they ALL had in common was the lousy job they did. All of them. I finally got so discouraged that I bought a fairly expensive carpet shampooer and just did the carpets myself. I recently decided to take one more chance on a «pro», did some research and decided to give Mario at Precision Carpet Cleaning a shot. Best carpet related decision I ever made. Mario is simply THE best. He is so thorough, so hard working and so knowledgeable he is just hands down the most professional carpet cleaner we’ve ever had in this house. Beige carpet, huge filthy areas… Mario not only got the spots out, they haven’t returned! With the other carpet cleaners the spots always returned over time. Not with Mario’s techniques. A short while after cleaning our carpets, we had Mario come back to clean our tile grout. Same hard work… same great results. What else can I say? I finally found my «forever» carpet and grout company. Mario ROCKS, give him a try.

Mario did a really good job with cleaning my carpets! The communication with him was easy. He returned my call within a couple of hours of leaving him a voicemail requesting service and we scheduled an appointment for later in the week. Mario was very accommodating of my schedule.
I really appreciated his upfront assessment of the stains and discolorations I have in the carpets and the upholstered headboard that I asked him to clean. He told me which stains might not be treatable BEFORE he started cleaning and explained why.
Mario is very amicable and I appreciate his honesty.
The only reason why I did not provide 5-​stars is because he arrived after the time we scheduled. He did call me before hand to let me know he did not estimate the time to my place accurately which is why he was late. I appreciate the heads-​up but I was on a hard time schedule and we did not finish at the time estimated so that caused a bit of a hassle for me. Despite this snafu, I highly recommend him.

I have been working with Mario at Precision Carpets exclusively for about 5 years. Their team is always responsive, professional, courteous and amazing at what they do. I have pets and Mario is always available to me in a pinch, my carpets always look 100% better than when they arrived. The best part… for a great price (no surprise additional fees like stairs etc) without harsh chemicals and quick drying. Best carpet cleaner I have ever worked with!

Mario from Precision carpet has cleaned my carpets several times over the past few years. He is sometimes busy, but he does call me back within a day. My dogs are always bringing something into the house or getting into the trash, and getting it all over the carpets. Mario does a great job and I really like how he brings air blowers in to help the carpet dry faster.

Dont bother, Mario took a very long time to even return a call. I went with Sears they are great. I chose a diff company because Mario (owner) does not have great customer service. He even sounded irritated when i mentioned there $ 99 special, which according to him should have been taken off the website, well its still there, Just pass this guy up!

I gotta take care of Mario because I was skeptical myself when I discovered he only had one review on Unilocal.I had a carpet cleaning yesterday afternoon, and became very lightheaded from the fumes. We did some research and it turns out the company I hired used petrolium dissilates, a chemical known to dissolve lung tissue. With my nine month old daughter getting ready to crawl on that carpet, I had to act fast. I couldn’t bring my infant in my home until the problem was solved. I called Mario because his website toted organic, chemical free cleaning for a fair price. He quelled my fears about making another quick, haphazard decision on a carpet company by describing the method he uses over the phone. He came IMMEDIATELY, and was able to extract the chemicals as well as provide a deep cleaning that went far beyond the one I had that afternoon. I appreciate that he does the work himself instead of sending minions who may or may not represent his preferred quality. Mario, the business owner, is a great guy who does a great job. The last time I had my carpet cleaned, the carpet felt slimy and the smell of carpet cleaner was very overwhelming. When Mario left, my carpet was almost completely dry and no slimy residue left behind. I highly recommend his work.
