So much fun to work with and such a wonderful person. Kristin with Stephanie Rose Events made our wedding day on 08.15.2015 better than we could have hoped. She’s cool, calm, collective and confident. She helped plan, recommend and guide us to vendors and with ideas the entire way. The day of our wedding, we think what really kept us calm was that she was so professional. She took total control over every aspect of our event so we could enjoy our day. She truly is an incredible wedding planner, and we are so grateful that she was a part of our adventure. It was a dream come true! We highly recommend her!

As a wedding stationery vendor, I’ve worked with Kristin and her clients on many different occasions. Right off the bat, I was drawn to her calm yet professional demeanor. I could tell she has a pure passion and talent for fashion & design. I’ve watched her work under extremely stressful situations and am constantly in awe of her focus and ability to keep tight timelines on schedule. Her attention to the smallest of details is absolutely amazing. Her organization skills help her stay on track with deadlines and makes her a dream to work with. But most of all, I admire her commitment to her clients. You can tell she truly cares about each couple she gets to work with and wants them to have the best experience they could ever imagine!

Kristin was AMAZING. As my wedding coordinator, she relieved SO much stress and ensured everything was went smoothly from making sure my camera-​happy uncle stayed out of the way of the professional photographers to coordination between the multiple vendors to making sure that my needs were met to the smallest of details like table set up and favor placement. It was perfect, and Kristin allowed me to relax because she really had *everything* taken care of. Highly recommend.

Kristin is a fantastic wedding planner! My fiancé and I really had no idea where to start especially here in San Diego where there are so many vendors to choose from. It is quite overwhelming. Kristin was able to guide us through all the madness by connecting us to amazing vendors once she heard our vision and what we were hoping for on our big day. Since Kristin was with us from day one, we really had nothing to worry about the month/​week/​day of except for being the center of attention. She handled every detail. I highly recommend Kristin. She stays on top of everything and is very responsive. She encourages you to ask questions! We could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out!

Kristin Watkins was our amazing wedding planner for our wedding this past mid-​July. We had met with several wedding planners about 7 months before. We had already picked our venue in San Diego and lived two hours away in LA. Having a wedding coordinator based in San Diego was important to us in helping keep us on a time schedule and to also coordinate everything there for us. We needed a lot more than a day of or month of coordinator. We had already picked out a venue and some of our other vendors (videographer, photographer, DJ) but knew it’d be smart (and better safe than sorry) to hire a planner to start a few months before as opposed to a day of ceremony.
At our first meeting, Kristin more than raised the bar. She listened and seem to understand our personalities and what we were looking for. She was very personable and calm– this was also important to us in case we were stressed and overwhelmed (which all brides are!). What we really loved about our meeting with Kristin is that she didn’t save all her great ideas and tips for when we hired her. She later sent a follow up email w/​referrals of vendors and other ideas off our meeting. We wanted to hire her on the spot but we felt obligated to keep our meeting we had set with the other planners. Taking other meetings was helpful because it showed us how much more Kristin understood us as a couple and our vision for the wedding of our dreams.
We hired her a little more than 6 months before our wedding and although she wasn’t contracted to start with us until a few months before, she would check in on our progress with wedding projects and plans. Loved that she did this and it was great to have an expert to bounce ideas off of and ask about wedding protocol, etc. Kristin was also extremely helpful in helping us get a wedding rehearsal at our venue the day before our wedding. The venue had other events scheduled on the day we wanted/​needed the rehearsal and Kristin’s resilience in getting this set was the key. She also knew the owners/​managers of our venue, the Bali Hai, which made a world of a difference. This was a lifesaver in having a rehearsal at the venue as we had a had a lot of bridesmaids and groomsmen.
The few months before our wedding, Kristin was quick to respond to emails and calls and also very accessible for meetings with us when we were in San Diego. She reached out to all our vendors and coordinated everything w/​them. No matter how much time you think you have to prepare and plan for a wedding, there is ALWAYS a lot more things to do right before the wedding. We decided to have a photo booth at the last second and Kristin referred us to her friends at the great vendor of Just a Memory Photo Booth. We were also going back on forth on themes and Kristin was very helpful in tying all our ideas together into one cohesive theme.
The day before our wedding at our wedding rehearsal, Kristin was extremely organized and knew exactly how to direct everyone to their positions. She was thorough in explaining to the bridal party and our parents of who was going where and at what time. And she did this all with a smile on her face.
Cut to the day of the wedding and Kristin was so on her game at making sure everything at the venue was being set up. She coordinated all our vendors such as our photographer, videographer, florist, DJ, hawaiian ceremony/​cocktail singer, audio equipment drop off, dessert company, photobooth vendor and officiant. She also had our namecards, signs, cake toppers, and sunglasses and so much more to set up but not once did she call us in a panic or in need of help. By the time we got to our venue, everything was perfect and Kristin was there, as always, with a smile on her face and the calm energy that we needed. Our wedding was our dream wedding and everything went perfectly without a hitch. Kristin was quick on getting us and our bridal party in order for our grand entrance, she was great in communicating with the venue’s staff and bartenders, and all our vendors throughout. She was so friendly to all our family and guests, especially to our parents. She also kept track of our gifts, money envelopes and the wrap out.
I know I’m writing a lot of details but it’s only because our wedding had a lot of moving parts and details which needed to be done in a timely manner before the wedding and the day of the wedding. Hiring Kristin as our wedding planner was the best decision we made — we couldn’t have been able to do as much as we did w/​out her. I think it was important to hire her to start not only for the day of but a few months before the wedding. Because of her, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams. If you are looking for the ultimate planner for your wedding or any event, she should be at the top of your list. Hire her, you won’t regret! Thank you so much Kristin!

Kristin goes beyond attention to detail. She sees your vision before you do and then holds your hand through the journey of your event. When you are sweating bullets Kristin gets it right away and calms you down with her level of confidence and ability to keep things on track. She’s like a swan… cool, calm and beautiful on top and peddling like heck under water. Our event wasn’t a wedding but had all the same components and level of importance. She produced a weekend long birthday celebration for my Aunt who turned 100! That’s an event that doesn’t happen often. Not sure she will do another 100^th Birthday… but you can trust her with helping you celebrate in style whatever your very special day is.

My wife and I hired Kristin as a our «Month of» Coordinator for our wedding this past July. When we first started planning for our wedding, my wife was a bit hesitant to hire a coordinator because it was yet another expense. However, after our wedding we both definitely agreed on the value of having Kristin Watkins take away a lot of the stress and handle some of the behind the scenes chaos for us. She was absolutely what we needed.
Leading up to the wedding she created our timeline and made sure that all of our vendors were on the same page. When our wedding day arrived, everything ran smoothly and she ensured that everyone was on schedule. We had an amazing day and we are so grateful to have Kristin be a part of our special day.

Kristin of Stephanie Rose Events was a DREAM to work with! As an event planner by trade, I was a bit hesitant to bring on a wedding coordinator to help with the planning of our April wedding. Boy, I’m glad I did — Kristin is a natural at the design, décor, and implementation of events.
