This Starbucks location knows how to make my drinks correctly! Very friendly baristas who go out their way to get to know you and high fives to those baristas who automatically recognizes each customers and their drinks!!! They are the only Starbucks location that knows how to make a correct iced Starbucks double shot espresso sweetened breve!!! Warm and friendly atmosphere! I love going there for my iced black tea, no sweetener, 4 raw sugars or there are days I’ll just get a frapp, latte or hot macchiato. Thank you, Jenna, Jackie, Emi, Natasha, Kristi, Heather, etc and their manager, JP for the superb service!

Impatient staff most days. Coffee is supposed to start my morning off right, not ruin it.

While standing in line, a gentleman in front of me was trying to order a drink. He mentioned he had never been to a Starbucks and his grandchild and given him a gift card. He was asking simple questions as he was trying to figure out what he could order. The entire time the cashier was rude and even making fun of him by laughing at him while he asked questions. I was so disgusted. I ended up having to help the gentleman myself since nobody behind the counter(three people) would not help him. I will be sure NEVER to come back to this Starbucks.

Nice location and friendly, playful staff. Usual SBux products and ambiance. One negative is frigid AC in seating area. FREAKINGCOLD all year long. Coldest SBux in SD without doubt. And, of course, the numbingly awful music. Is a pleasant playlist that hard to assemble? Whoever gets paid to do this at SBux should be fired

This Starbucks location is THEBEST I have ever experienced. I am visiting from out of town and travel quite often. I have never experienced such friendly, personal, professional, and efficient service anywhere. While standing in line I heard the staff welcome regulars by name and move the line of about 10 people through in less than 3 minutes. One of the baristas was even wearing a tie — he took the whole experience up several notches. I felt like I was in New York! If I lived here I would go out of my way to come back again and again! Keep up the great work!

Wow. I love Starbucks but some of the stores have some really unfriendly employees. Not here! Awesome and will get to know you by your first name within just a few visits. Even in their busiest times, they keep up their cheer and good hospitality. This is my favorite Starbucks and all of North County.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks in the area. Small but they’re very good at moving the line and you won’t wait long. The baristas here know their stuff and don’t get uncomfortable when you ask them for a recommendation. There are plenty of outlets to plug in and the leather chairs by the windows are comfortable enough to stay in for hours. If you need somewhere quiet, the public library is just across the street behind it. Also plenty of spots for lunch nearby.

I am normally not a big fan of chains or large corporations but I come here everyday and always love my experience. Literally every single barista is friendly and awesome. My coffee always tastes great and is ready in a timely matter. I think that this store has an awesome culture with really hard working employees!

Amazing experience every single time! If only every Starbucks was more like this store. I go out of my way to come to this location even though there is one closer to my house. Love the people and the managers. JP seems like an amazing leader, too! Thank you Starbucks CM for making my day better!

Great service and friendly staff! I come here with my wife every weekend and pretty much all of the baristas know our drink orders. They always seem to be in a great mood and make our drinks in a timely manner. Our coffees always taste great and we really enjoy the customer service experience that their staff provides. Two thumbs up!

I’m new to this location, but I’m loving the people! Super friendly. And when my drink wasn’t how I liked it. It was remade with an extra espresso shot for free! The drink tasted awesome. And I’m super happy now.

The best time is getting my cup of coffee early in the morning when they just opened with their freshly brewed coffee. The ladies who work here are friendly and nice. I always notice those regular customer coming in the same time as I knows them by name and also knows what their usual drinks are. That’s pretty cool having so many people come and go and remembering their drinks. Anyway, This place gets pretty busy during the afternoon but the check out is quick. I would advice to order your drinks in the online app if you’re in a rush to save you time. Also, I always bring in my reusable cup to save that extra 15 cents now that the coffee is getting to a point of being overpriced because I’m that frugal haha. The only thing that bothers me is that the cashier tends to still be asleep and seem to forget to deduct that discount. But all in all I like this place and the atmosphere.

This is a very busy Starbucks located in a very busy strip mall. seating inside but plenty outside. I stopped in to have a grande cold brew and take advantage of their free WiFi to get some work done. Although the place was packed, I was able to find a seat neat the window with a plug in for my electronics. I usually drink the cold brew coffee black with no room, but this time around for some reason I added a touch of half and half. The cold brew was great as usual and the touch of half and half gave it a smoothness and a touch of sweet as well. The cold also provided that nice kick I needed to get through my work without a hitch. This location does not have a lot of seating inside, but has more outside in front. The counters were all well stocked and neat. Service at the counter was very good and quite quick even with the long lines. They sure have a good system down here: a system that all done with a smile. Very nice smaller Starbucks.

Located in the Trader Joe’s shopping center on Carmel Mt. Road, it’s a busy shopping center and parking is kind of a pain. I’ve only been in this location once, but nothing stands out about this location(compared to other locations where they’re extra friendly, etc.). TIP: don’t park right in front of the store… people like to take up 2 parking spaces, especially in front of Starbucks. I’m guessing it’ll increase your chances of getting your car dinged.

This Starbucks is right next to Trader Joe’s and Ralph’s and is in a pretty busy plaza. I almost always have trouble finding parking because there are so many stores in the plaza and it is always super busy. There’s plenty of seating inside and outside and the baristas are super friendly.

I spend 1 – 3 hours a day in some Starbucks, somewhere in the world, almost every day. I can say with authority that this Starbucks is the best. Not only does the barista team treat me well, but they each other well. You can hear the smiles in their voices as they talk to each-other and their customers. The atmosphere is genuine and positive, and you can tell the employees there really like their job. This is something I observe over and over again, a this location. The manager there(J.P.) treats this Starbucks as if it were his very own business. He’s always working hard to support his staff, and I often see him cleaning tables and picking up trash outside — the sign of a real leader, IMO. One more thing… my drink is almost always perfect. And if there’s ever something that’s not right, it’s like they take it personally. They WANT to get it right. Trust me, this isn’t usually the case at most Starbucks. It’s rare that it happens, but sometimes, the drink needs fixin. :-) I’m totally nice about it… but I often get looks like… «okay sure… whatever you say.». No responsibility. No ownership. No care. But at this Starbucks in Carmel Mountain Ranch, they do care. They do take ownership. This Starbucks is a model for all others. I don’t want to lose J.P. here, but seriously, this guy should be making 300K a year traveling around the globe showing other Starbucks how it’s done. That’s all I have to say about that.

I mean you can get a great cup of coffee anywhere, right? Sure. But at the Carmel Mountain Starbucks you get a friendly experience. It’s a small Starbucks in a shopping center with a shared parking lot so even if you have to walk a little bit you’ll always find parking. When you walk in you always get a smile followed by a greeting. It smells amazing. The shop is generally busy, very busy with the line out of the door at times but they get you in and they get you out. They stay pretty well stocked on all of your favorites and they still have great choices in the afternoon to come back and use your treat receipt. The team works well together and are actually efficiently trained. I’ve been coming to this location for a long time and I generally come multiple times a day with multiple orders and different payments & they are always patient, quick and I’ve never gotten an incorrect drink — well once but I was on the phone so I may have ordered it incorrectly. However, they still made it right. Good lighting, fast Wi-Fi, clean restroom, clean condiment bar, clean tables inside and outside. And when they are slow they keep themselves busy. I appreciate the warm and welcoming environment they create and it really helps me have a positive day.

Went to this location yesterday since mom was shopping at Nordstrom rack. They dont have a Starbucks in that plaza. Id rather drive across the street than drink coffee bean haha. 3 pm so I know the lots going to be busy. Surprisingly it wasn’t too busy and I found parking Yay! When I went inside there were only two girls in front of me. I noticed they have a ginger ale drink. So I asked the cashier how it was, and she said she liked it. I explained to her I don’t really drink sodas. She told me that it does have some bubbles but out of the three this one was her favorite. That was super helpful. I have to order it next time. I am a creature of habit, so me wanting to try something new on the menu is a first. Cool beans! They had the comfortable seats available. I grabbed one and within a couple of minutes my macchiato was ready. The staff was friendly and quick. Definitely returning to this location in the future.

Starbucks CM staff is just the best! Can’t have caffeine for the next 9 months and the barista was sweet enough to make me a coffee-free drink sample. I could cry of happiness.

You’ve been to one Starbucks, you’ve been to em all right… What makes a SB stand out for me is 1) the baristas; 2) the consistency of the beverages; and 3) the consistency of the baristas attitudes. And for this Carmel Mountain location, EVERY time sis and I go here, all 3 bullet points have been hit. We love the baristas here. They have *THE* most friendly and gracious coffee people working here. Their new remodel is pretty cool too — there’s not alot of places to work or study on your laptop(from what we’ve seen in the past). So not sure if there’s an ideal time to go when it’s easier to nab a table. They are located next to Trader Joes and Ralphs. Parking can be annoying but only during peak times(morning rush, after school, etc). But we love this SB :) Thank you Carmel Mountain Baristas! (And can someone concur that seeing the beautiful red cups during this time of year makes your otherwise crappy day into a much better day …) I love this season… soooo love it…
