Do not go here. I don’t know how they staff this place, but being inside a Target, they must just take anyone who feels like they want a break from folding baby clothes or reorganizing towels. I can’t even remember the last time I had a drink made correctly. Do yourself a favor and pass this one up. I used to go here purely out of convenience and because my wife usually orders the white girl slurpee special aka white mocha frap that are impossible to mess up. But once you drop an order for a Starbucks Doubleshot unsweetened w/​soy on them, it’s like you just told them they are adopted. There is a real Starbucks about 100 feet from the Target in the same shopping center that is employed by real baristas.
P. S. The Target it resides in is great tho. Real talk.

This Starbucks has a drive through which is key when you have little kids and prefer not to get out of the car.
The drive through was quick and the drink was everything you expect from Starbucks. I’ll be coming here a lot now that I live in Poway.

When this Starbucks first opened, they offered these special cup holders that attached to carts. That blew my mind because it shows they are taking care of their customers’ needs coz frankly, I can’t push the cart and hold my drink and I worry that my drink might tip over and spill if I placed it on the cart. Thus, all good things come to an end coz those drink holders are gone now.
Anyways, I tried to use one of my rewards inside Target and I was told they do not honor reward points. =(No harm done, but it’s good to know. To make up for it, the barista did hook me up with a free drink any size and any way I like. So I give Starbucks inside Poway Target 5 stars and a high five.

Another «inside the store» Starbucks that I’m a fan of. The stores must hire people that are very customer service oriented because the Baristas always seem to bend over backwards to assist you. This location isn’t any different. The two times I’ve been here I’ve had great experiences all around and although it may occasionally take a minute or two longer to get your drink, because there’s usually only one person available, it’s well worth the wait. There’s even a large seating area to relax and enjoy your coffee.
