So Cal Graphics has been a vendor for my company for well over 10 years. They are a family owned business with possibly the nicest employees I’ve ever met. There’s a phrase I like that «nice people buy from nice people». It is true and that is why I continue to partner with them on many projects. Shelly handles our pricing on unique requests and she couldn’t be any more pleasant or upfront about the costs involved. As the owner of an established small business, I appreciate this transparency where costs are involved. It allows for better planning and zero surprises. Scott is our graphic designer on their staff. He possesses the very rare combination of a mind that is equally creative as it is logical. So this means his works needs no editing or cross-​checking by my staff. This is gold as when I’m hiring work out, it means I have no desire to supervise the work being done. Because of these traits, Scott is in high demand. He has reasonable turn times on his work & will let you know in advance if something may have him previously committed. Scott manages his time so you don’t have to wonder when your project will be completed.
The few times that jobs have gone wrong, which happens in the course of a long working relationship, SoCal has never put me in the awkward position of arguing about the bill. They have taken appropriate responsibility every time. It’s easy to like your printer when things go well, but it is a real bonus to like them even when things go wrong.

Loralee and Scott were great! We needed to get some flyers, to go menus, stickers, and a punch card for our grand opening. We gave them a short time frame a few days before thanksgiving and they were able to finish the project on time! Scott used his designing skills to create something even better than we imagined. It all came out very professional and we have gotten many complements on everything.

I was referred to So Cal by another print shop that couldnt handle the business cards that we need printed. As soon as I went in and met Shelly the manager, i could tell that she was a pro all the way. She helped me finalize all the details for my business cards and they came out AMAZING! We did a few things that arent common and they were able to get it done fast, effectively and the quality is superb. Highly recommend them!

We had them print bulk mailing postcards for our lost cat. Bret quoted an outstanding price, had a proof ready for me in a few hours, and the entire batch in two days. Very professional product and excellent advice on the process. I even asked to increase the order, and he did so at a very, very reasonable rate with no delays. He beat handily out the local competition and most of the online competitors. Given a choice to order prints online or to support my local businesses, So Cal Graphics will have mine from now on.

Wow is all I can say I had been printing stickers with many different places before finding these guys. I use my own graphics guy so I am limited with my technical skills I didn’t even know that my sticker guy before socal was printing a image and not the printable format everyone else would just take my money and print. Shelly took the time to point it out as I was just fwd’ing my graphics guy email I didn’t even look. I had the correct graphic and formatting available so I just fwd the right email and the print quality was much better. No lets talk price they have great prices and are eager to help you accomplish any printing need; I matched them against many online printers and local and they beat everyone by a mile. DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL OR EMAIL FOR A PRICE REQUEST you are doing yourself a disservice if you take the first online quote you find and pay up to 50% more!!! Pleasure working with them; 30 years in the business for a good reason. I have now printed 1000’s of stickers with them and will print 1000’s more.

Took wedding and reception envelopes to them to print addresses on. They destroyed 50% of our custom engraved envelopes and destroyed 16 of our 100 reception envelopes. We are awaiting replacements from the vendors, are out well over $ 200 and have spent allot of time dealing with this. Our invitations are being sent a week to 10 days late thanks to their screw ups.
Brett and Loralee were very unpleasant to deal with, were not willing to «make things right» or accept responsibility for their errors or reimburse us for any of our extraordinary costs, and to add insult to injury charged us 100% of the cost quoted for the wedding envelopes.

These guys were really on the ball with my order… printed 150 11×17 posters and had them ready in a couple hours. Best of all, the price was a steal! Thanks for providing awesome customer service, great pricing and really high quality work! Two thumbs up!

We needed some flyers made up for an event we were attending, and needed someone to turn them around fast! I was disappointed in myself for waiting until the last week, and incurring the extra costs of digital printing as opposed to off-​set… but decided to suck it up and called a few places for some quotes.
I wanted someone local so I could pick up the work and not pay shipping costs, and So Cal Graphics gave me the best quote. I worked with Loralee who was very helpful on the phone, and emailed me a quote right away. After I gathered my quotes and decided to go with So Cal Graphics, the ordering process was a cinch — I just corresponded with her via email. She was very responsive, and I emailed her the digital files, she emailed me a credit card authorization form (50% deposit required when you place the order), and the print job was out of my hands.
I didn’t think about it until after the fact, but with the Credit Card Authoritzation form, you are printing out your information and emailing it to them, so if that makes you feel uncomfortable (e.g. if you think your email account is going to get hacked), I’m sure you could just call and give it to them.
She called me on Friday when they were ready to be picked up, and after work I drove to their office, which is in a pretty convenient location just off the 163. I ran into a bit of traffic and called to let her know I’d be getting there right around 5:30 when they close, and she said that was fine.
When I got to the shop, I walked in the door and one of the women was working with a gentleman on another order. The other woman (not sure which one was Loralee), saw me and said, «Are you Rachel?» I thought that was nice because she remembered my name from speaking with me. She handed me my order, said I was all checked out; I looked at the flyers and they were fantastic, and I left. It was SO EASY. Since I’d already given them my payment information, they just charged the second half after I picked the job up, and I didn’t have to fill out a bunch of paperwork or anything.
I kind of wish I hadn’t been in such a rush to get to the event that night, because they seemed like the kind of girls that have a cool story. I just love these small local businesses! I will probably use them again, and update if it’s an exceptional experience.
Note: We had the digital files already designed, so I can’t speak for their in-​house design skills, though they do advertise for that. This is just for quality and efficiency of printing, and for the good communication & customer service.

My review can only supplement the prior review by Valerie This company was able to design and print our company request for two hundred business cards in less than a day. We picked up our order on the way to the airport to attend our symposium the next day. Kudos to Shelly and her co-​workers. Our company as well has a new printer.

I can’t tell you how happy I am that I found So Cal Graphics! They have been a complete lifesaver to me in the last 24 hours, which is what prompted me to write this review. My company prints a quarterly, magazine-​style newsletter, and have been using another printer for the last year or so. Although we have been happy with the quality of their work, the turnaround time (up to a week) was just not conducive to our marketing schedule. I sent our usual print job to our old printer last Thursday and was told we would not be getting our 500 newsletters back until this Thursday — not an option for us. To appease my disappointed boss, I contacted So Cal Graphics yesterday morning to see how quickly we could get an emergency print of 100 so we could send them to a select group of clients. Within a couple of hours, they brought a proof to our office, and within 24 hours, we received the entire order of 100 high-​quality newsletters, also delivered directly to our office. I am incredibly impressed by their efficiency, the quality of their work, and the level of communication that I have received from Bret, who is the President of the company. We have definitely found ourselves a new printer that I know will deliver what we need, when we need it. Thanks So Cal Graphics!

I needed a company to print addresses on outer envelopes and names on inner envelopes for my wedding invitations. I was quoted a very reasonable price and they were quite easy to work with. All they needed were spreadsheets of what I wanted printed — that’s it! I needed a quick turn around time (Friday to Tuesday), and they did not disappoint. Quality work and my invites turned out beautifully. They were very patient with me sending multiple revised spreadsheets because I kept finding my errors in the proofs they provided. Great customer service!

Socal graphics did an amazing job printing my wedding invites. In fact, they did such a nice job that I ended up having them print my ceremony programs, seating chart, guest cards, and a wedding tree poster as well! I feel really lucky that I found them. Their pricing was pretty much unbeatable (I quoted several different places in the San Diego area), but no lack of quality. They were also highly professional in providing physical proofs and requiring me to sign off on them in person. I loved everything that came back from the printers — cuts were even, packaging was great, paper was thick, etc. I got many compliments on all of my wedding stationary :)
A big difference was also that the staff was very friendly — during my first visit, they were around for almost an hour and a half, letting me browse different paper samples, giving me quotes for all sorts of different combinations, and answering all sorts of random questions.
Finally, when I was in a last-​minute jam (printing out table seating charts, guest cards, etc.), they were so gracious as to provide a very quick turn-​around time. For any frantic bride, flexibility from a vendor is amazing. In general, I was very pleased with my experience with them, and am very happy that I found them!
