San Diego Van Service

I recently hired San Diego Van service to drive a group of colleagues at different times over a few days. Albert was always on time, professional and drove in a very safe manner. The van we were in was absolutely immaculate and an had none of that fake car deodorizer smell that causes instant headaches. I will be using this service again and I will also be recommending San Diego Van Service to my colleagues. Thank you Albert!!!

Albert was amazing! Let me start off with that our entire party ran a little late. A little miscommunication happened which had our party not 15min late, not 30min late, not even an hour late, BUT 2 HOURS LATE! How did Albert react to it? Extremely professional and very patient.
Our party wanted to decorate the inside of the charter vehicle to get the attendees excited and pumped about it. (It was for a work conference). What did Albert do? Even being behind in schedule, he helped decorate the bus with a smile on his face. Him helping load the luggage I did assume he was going to do that, but what he did to go above and beyond was helping decorate the bus as well as help place swag bags to each assigned seats.
I did see a few really bad reviews, and I personally don’t understand and get it. Maybe you caught him on an off day or maybe he caught you on an off day? Who knows. I personally feel Albert was awesome. Did really well with the situation brought forth to him.
To make the experience that much better, prior to us leaving we left him with our left over non-​perishable snacks, sodas, & water. We offered them to him and said that their office can have it. He said, «I’ll take care of it and bring it back when I pick you guys back up.» I honestly didn’t care if he did or didn’t, but what did he do when we got back? He had the snacks and drinks we left waiting for us. Not like it had been sitting there for a few days, but he had them neatly placed where he took his time to place them there.
If I could give Albert & San Diego Van Service higher than a 5 star, I would. I do plan on using SD Van Service for our next conference trip as well as my personal family trips. He did a great job.
I’ll be honest, the speaker system was a little shot, but I’m not rating his audio system, I’m rating his service and overall professionalism. He did great. Thank you, Albert & SD Van Service!

I booked San Diego Van Service after looking at several other businesses for my wedding. Albert had the best prices and flexibility. About 3 weeks out from my wedding, we learned that we needed to change our wedding timeline and bump it up and hour– not a fun way to spend the last 3 weeks prepping for your wedding. I immediately contacted Albert to see if it was possible to adjust to our new time, and he responded promptly. Unfortunately with the wedding being 3 weeks out and taken place on Memorial weekend, he was all out of shuttles and another party had the shuttle booked during where our new timeline would occur, which is very understandable. He immediately started calling his affiliates to help me out, and he was able to find me a company that had shuttles available. He refunded 100% of my reservation deposit, and followed up to see if I was able to get a shuttle for my wedding– which I did! It was a pleasure working with Albert, he was quick to respond and truly cared about finding us a shuttle. I definitely recommend working with him, and I hope I’ll need to use him in the future. Thank you Albert for your great customer service and helping me out in a pinch!

Excellent choice for our corporate workshop customers! Albert was fantastic, very accommodating. We texted each other often as I was making a lot of changes to our itinerary. He even popped a (legal) U-​turn for me when I accidentally left a customer behind :) We will do continued business here!

Albert is a horrible cheat and a liar. Final cost was grossly more than the estimated cost.

We got this service for our mommy and me fieldtrips and was very satisfied. The van was very clean and the ride was very comfortable. Albert was very punctual and made sure everything was done on time and we reach our destination in time. Will definitly be using their services again!

We had a great experience working with San Diego Van Service. We used them for our wedding on March 5^th in La Jolla and I’m so glad we did, because everything ran smoothly. They shuttled the guest to and from the wedding and helped us select the right the van size for our number or guests. Highly recommend!

Although I didn’t book and I don’t typically leave review, but in this case I thought it could help others in avoiding what could be a bad experience. Albert might have a good product to offer, but his customer service is absolutely zero! He is totally unwilling to go out of his way to make the experience of transporting 32 people during a very special event a good experience… my daughters WEDDING! I read the other reviews and there is a general consensus to this. I feel in this day and age with Customer Service getting less and less, that it is important in this case to have stellar Customer Service and make the consumer feel confident and comfortable to the choice they are making and BTW, did I mention potentially spending $ 600-​$ 700…Sorry Albert, I’m going with someone else. Hopefully you will look at this and make your Customer Service a priority. p. s. you might also want to get the IT glitches in your on-​line form worked out especially since you really don’t want to work with people over the phone and direct them there!

At work today had a driver who came in. Was impatient and short at first, but later accommodated the professionals we were hosting. Eventually they, the professionals, viewed that it was time to leave, and departed. However, first impressions are everything, and the attitude of the driver, while understandable, did not sit well with myself or with others I work with.
Thanks for coming, cautious about having them return and utilizing their services again.

My my experience was up and down. I was so excited leading up to my wedding because Albert was so great to work with and an added bonus– LGBT friendly. He even accommodated us adding service a week out of my wedding.
Day of, unfortunately they were 20min late and with a much smaller size bus than what we rented. Turns out their 32-​passanger bus broke down. Not sure if it broke down in route or earlier that day. I totally understand this is out of their control and this wouldn’t have been as bad if they arrived on time with a good game plan on how to get all my people to my wedding. Instead he arrived late with a small bus and quickly realized he needed a back up plan.
He did manage to get a town-​SUV rented (at their expense), which we greatly appreciated, but this took more time. Luckily I had padded our schedule and made it on time.
On the way back, he still had the smaller bus, but this time he had a 12-​passanger van that had seen MUCH better days. My guests who road in that car said they were happy to make it bad in one piece!
I gave 3 stars because he was a nice guy through it all and I could tell he was stressed. He did end up taking $ 50 off the quoted price and refused our tip at the end of the night. That is a classy businessman. I think I would recommend renting from them.

This may be a generally a good company, but whoever answered the phone (I have no idea what his name was) was kinda rude. It was sort of like I was some inconvenient telemarketer that called during dinner, rather than a potential client who wanted information about how I could give him a bunch of my money. PASS, it isn’t like there aren’t a million other party bus rentals in the San Diego area, and so far they seem to have pretty much the same capacity, at pretty much the same price.
Work on your customer service buddy. Do you think anyone ACTUALLY wants to make a gramillionty million calls to vendors? I called because I wanted a quote now, not to fill out a form with a bunch of personal information that I don’t want to give you, and then wait for you to get around to answering my email in two days…

– I am an Artist, and do life modeling on the side for other Artists which is nothing like stripping, ignorant jerk. I am also a little weirded out that he would take this much time to creepily stalk and then threaten me, instead of just asking me to give him another chance to prove he was having an off day. All I did was repeat our conversation. I don’t care that has an online submission form, just that he wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise, and refused to answer my questions.

San Diego Van Service provided transportation for our wedding guests between the hotel and wedding venue. We chose them based on price and their flexibility.
Upon hiring, they were super professional and responsive to my queries. The day before, we received the name and phone number of the driver, which was great! Our driver Albert was awesome — good natured and flexible. Our wedding guests kept talking about how great the service was. I would recommend San Diego Van Service to anyone!

Great, friendly door to door service. We used SD Van service for airport transport. We had three in our group going to the airport, but we had 8 in our group on our return which is why I was drawn to the van service — I knew we’d need larger transport on the back end. Albert was thoughtful enough to recommend I go with another service provider for our transport to the airport since we were only 3. SD Van Service caters to groups of 6 or more, they don’t have sedans. I went with SD Van Service for both rides b/​c it was easier for me to stick with one provider and I was already impressed with Albert’s service. Not to mention, I checked with a couple sedan service providers and they were actually more pricey. Another plus for SD Van Service is there was no extra charge for a booster seat for my toddler, whereas other companies charged an extra fee.
You have to request a quote online before booking either online or via phone which I thought was a little annoying. I like talking to people so I called first and then was directed to the website to get a quote. Minor glitch since overall my experience was excellent. I’m looking forward to using SD Van Service again.

Called on a Friday night and was able to book a 4 hour driver and a 22-​seater mini-​bus the very next day on a busy Saturday afternoon. The driver was excellent and willing to do anything we needed. I forgot my flowers at home and he was super cool about turning around so I could go get them. Really clean bus and super experience! (note: I also called around before booking this company and got a couple VM greetings on Fri night and one person who didn’t speak English very well and seemed like a bit of a creepster about his prices and availability.) Avoid any other problems and just go with SDVS. This company was really easy to book with and was really friendly. They seemed to prioritize making sure I was happy.

Very accommodating. The owner Albert is a stand up guy for sure.
If at all possible Albert will make it happen for you and your party.

San Diego Van Service provided driving service for us last fall for our wedding. They were flexible and accommodating as to some changing requirements for the service, and they worked well with our wedding planner/​coordinator. Our schedule was relatively complicated but they were able to meet the schedule with no problems. The vehicles were clean and operated well, and the drivers were polite and professional. Their rates were very reasonable.

San Diego van service provided AWESOME service for my guests during a 4-​day indian wedding.
Albert & his crew are awesome — I would recommend them wholeheartedly for all kinds of custom trips. Very laidback and great to work with.

Albert and his company did a stellar job for us. We recently had a conference in Carlsbad and needed transportaiton for our attendees. Albert and his crew were great about staying in constant contact and letting our people know where to be and when. I had neglected to notify him of a flight change and he still picked up my passenger without missing a beat. If we ever get back to San Diego I would certainly use Albert again!

We used Industry for our wedding day shuttle for our guests from the hotel to the Darlington House on 8÷31÷2013 in La Jolla. There was some complaints by the guests that the shuttle was not doing enough loops, but at the end of the day the job was done.
We had a couple of guests who were late and they even extended the hours free of charge, even though they had to pay the driver. Albert was also easy to work with, and we recommend this company.
