San Diego Parasail Adventures

This is an activity meant for someone who’s scared of heights. Although it may look scary taking off, it really isn’t. The crew was very professional with us, and were very thorough on each procedure, which made me feel safe and confident the entire time. Even my 73 year old grandma had a blast. (Yes, she went parasailing too).

Really fun. Worth the money. But the driver (captain?) with the English or Australian accent was a prick.
My boyfriend and I were very friendly with the crew and other passengers but we got singled out for some reason. We were the last couple to go and after watching everyone be lowered for a «toe dip» we excited and anxious. But when we were getting lowered for our «toe dip» it not only seemed as though he was aiming to land us in a kelp bed but he also dunked us in the water chest deep 3 times! I was annoyed because we got so wet but I thought it was in good fun until we got back on board and the first thing the captain asked me was «how’s your phone?»!
I was taking pics and videos with my phone while we were waiting for our turn so he saw I had my phone with me, but fortunately I left it on the boat before our turn (sorry to disappoint you cap’n). My boyfriend left a $ 20 tip because I didn’t tell him while we were on board, but I did while we were driving away and he was furious.
I felt like that was really malicious of the captain. This could’ve been a receipt for a new phone instead of this long winded review but I felt it needed to be said as it still doesn’t sit right with me.
I know it’s 2015, but I would hate to think we were singled out because we were the only gay couple…

This was a great once in a lifetime experience. The captain and crew were great and made the experience awesome. The captain is also extremely funny and easy on the eyes, so that was a plus. If you’re going to do this, go big or go home. Pay the extra $ 25 for 800 feet. It makes a difference.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we really enjoyed it! Its a once in a life time experience and recommend it to anyone looking for a thrill and exciting thing to do in SD.
We arrived on time for our boarding time, once we got there we we’re asked to postpone our trip an hour and a half later, since us two were the only ones scheduled for the time we chose. We didn’t mind, but i just wished they called us ahead of time so we didn’t have to rush over to get to the dock. They told us that once we got there and was suppose to board. A phone call giving us a heads up would have been okay.
Although that happened we didn’t get upset or let it ruin our trip. Once we got onto the boat everything went nice and smooth. It was a really fun experience. Once you are in the air it is very calming and relaxing. The captain and mate was really nice and funny as well as the guy in the reception.

Had an amazing time parasailing at San Diego parasailing! The crew was really nice and accommodating to our party of six. They made the experience exciting for the groups in the air as well as on the boat! I would highly recommend going parasailing with San Diego Parasailing. When I was trying to book they had a high call volume and with in 2 minutes I received a call back with out even leaving a message! Once everyone went parasailing they let anyone who wanted to jump in the water to cool off; which was pretty awesome!

Had a great trip! Very scenic and exciting! I felt very safe the views were spectacular! A little kid got sick on the boat and they handled it very well! They were prepared and made him and his family feel better so that he was not embarrassed. Would definitely recommend!

Went for a bachelorette weekend. We decided to go parasailing rather than going to a spa, and we all enjoyed it. I’m afraid of heights and I get sea sick but our captains Dan and Sam made it a really fun experience and the view made it all worth it!

Our family has been here for a month now. We saved parasailing for our last adventure. It did not disappoint! It was AWESOME! Sam and Dan were the best… funny, made us feel very welcome and super attentive to safety. Due to windy conditions, they changed out the sail, which took a few extra minutes but we were so thankful that they were on top of the whole safety issue. What a great way to end a great trip. If you’re thinking about doing this, don’t give it another thought… DO IT WITH SAN DIEGO PARASAIL ADVENTURES… no regrets!

As a step one before paragliding and sky diving, this was perfect. Such a peaceful ten minutes of soaring over the Pacific Ocean and enjoying the fresh air, was what my vacation needed. There were a few hitches with switched scheduling due to weather changes and other booking errors on their end, but it worked out. Something I wasn’t informed about though was the fact that this company does not do single parasailing but only tandem, so going on my own I had to pair up with a stranger. Luckily it was fine but kind of a damper on the soaring alone. But it was definitely fun, felt safe, the crew on the boat was thorough, careful, extremely kind and funny. By the end of the ride, the whole team on the boat had enjoyed a good experience and memories. I originally purchased the 600 feet option but they were flexible and let me and others upgrade to 800 while on board. I paid the difference after the ride. It was great. I got the photo package while others got the go pro video option. Definitely fun for all ages!

Eric did wonderful in returning my call and accommodating. He helped us out as we would have been late for boarding and asked for a later time. He was quick in switching our boarding to the later time so I just want to say I really appreciate it!
The experience was phenomenal! Definitely recommend. It’s very calming up there and the view is amazing. It slowly brings you up in a steady pace like a nice little swing. You’re up there for about 6 – 8 minutes and then the captain dips you down lower in case you want to dip your feet in. The total ride lasts for an hour depending on if it’s a full boat or not. And don’t worry about directions because the crew is very informative and friendly to answer as many questions or concerns you may have.
There’s nothing negative I can think of. So just do it and knock it off your bucket list!

I had such a good time with my friends. The captain and mate were professional and funny so I felt safe up there. I always wanted to do parasailing my entire life and I finally got the chance, and I had a wonderful time. I was in the air with my friend for about 8 minutes, the captain lowered us to dip our feet in the water and rise us back again in the air. It was so fun, I can’t wait to do it again! We were in the speed boat for about an hour total

Although I was hesitant as I am afraid of heights, this was the best thing I did on my
Trip to San Diego. Everyone on the crew and the captain were fun and welcoming. The view was unbelievable and I felt very safe. Would recommend to anyone

well, we got our money back finally, my husband called and they answered after 3 tries, the young lady he spoke to said she was just about to call us, WHATEVER. She apologized and said when the captain is out no one comes to work, therefore that’s why no one answered my calls or email, you would think that someone would come at least check them due to a sudden injury to the captain, from what I hear several other customers who were scheduled over the weekend had the same issue, parasailing is fun but not worth this headache!

Devin was the captain on the boat I was on. He was actually a nice guy along with his mate. Both awesome guys who made sure it was a good time. The ride was a little shorter than I had anticipated it would of been for spending that kind of money, being only an average 5 minute airtime per person. Still was a good time anyhow.

That is what you will be saying after going parasailing. I had never done it before it it was F’ing amazing. Its very quite and serene in the air. You can see to infinity and beyond. Just pure fun.
The Captain and mate were not only very professional and safety conscious, they were also super mellow and fun to talk to. It looks like it takes alot of skill and practice to be able to fly the chute, steer the boat, not hit anything, and make sure the passengers are having fun in the air, all at the same time. Kudos to the Captain (sorry I didn’t get your name) and Dan for being such a great team.
O, their Dock Dog, Phillis, was super cute too.
I would highly recommend this company and activity to anyone.
* one small thing I forgot, we go the GoPro Package and it didn’t work right. We ended up getting 4 – 6 snap shots of us at different times because the red light wasn’t flashing and we were trying to make sure it was on and recording.

My wife and I went here, and they were super nice. Initially, our parasailing trip was cancelled because the weather was bad, but we got to ride on their boat for free and they give us a free appointment to come back next week. They were really apologetic and very nice. When we came back the next week the weather was great, and we had an awesome time! They are super nice and really professional. They made sure everything was really safe and easy to do. Overall, it was an amazing experience! :)

This was a great once in a lifetime experience and definitely worth it. We were a family of four, including two teenagers. The great thing about this company is that you can go up in pairs, so it is a shared experience as opposed to going up alone and not being able to share the view with someone.
The people in charge were great, from the person who signed us in, to the skipper of the boat and his mate. They were all very friendly and helpful throughout the trip.
We were up in the air for about 8 – 10 minutes, and though that may seem short, after a while you have gotten the experience of being up in the air and seen the beautiful view of the ocean and San Diego.
The only downside is that they don’t tell you to go to the pier as opposed to the address listed on their website, so we ended up driving around for an extra 15 minutes, which was made worse being that it was 4^th of July. However, we made it on time and got there early, which one should plan for on the day of the experience.

We signed up for parasailing for noon and came 30 minutes early. Everything went really smooth! The captain and mate were professional and really nice. We were up in the air for about ten minutes and then on the speed boat for a total of an hour. The parasail was quite high up and the view of the ocean and city line was really chill. I highly recommend this place!
