Roger practiced at the statewide legal powerhouse, Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps, for nearly 25 years, where he founded the construction practice, was an equity partner, and lead the real estate litigation department. Later, Roger joined the nationwide firm, McKenna Long, as an equity partner and lead its real estate litigation department. In 2014, Roger founded his own boutique law firm.

Before graduating at the top of his class in law school, Roger operated a hospitality business and obtained a business degree. After nearly 30 years in Big Law, Roger saw a tremendous opportunity to provide experienced legal services at lower cost and without the high overhead of traditional law firms. After founding his own boutique in 2014, Roger has demonstrated success in both law and business. Roger has Super Lawyer and AV Preeminent peer ratings. He is a Director of the San Diego County Bar Association and is a Senior Master in the Welsh Inn of Court.
