Payte Miller Interiors is a full service interior design firm specializing in residential and commercial renovations. Residential design is Shannon’s primary focus, looking at kitchen and bath remodels as her place of joy.

Her second passion is commercial spaces such as boutique hotels, restaurants, cafes, coffee houses in additional to corporate office and all the various areas in between.

Shannon has a strong background in coordinating renovations from the concept of how to change an existing space into something spectacular while managing the overall project through construction and installation. Full set of construction documents and purchasing services can be a large part of any large (or small) renovation and we like to be intricately involved if the client is in need of a full service design package.

History

Established in 2007.

Shannon started in the industry in 1995 working for a Biotech firm as an administrative assistant to the Director of Facilities. Here, she grew an interest in the construction trade and promptly focused on a degree in Interior Design.

In 2000 she started as a Residential Interior Design Assistant while completing her bachelors degree and 3 years later begin her path in the commercial sector of architecture and design. Mentoring with some of the industries top Architects and designers, she grew and ultimately gain inspiration for a future as an independent designer with her own company to nurture and foster.

In 2008 after several years in the vacation ownership sector, Shannon shifted to luxury residential design. In 2010 she started Payte Miller Interiors and has not looked back!

Shannon, who began her career while attending San Diego State University, creates high quality interiors, appropriate to the architecture, all the while maintaining function that is relevant to those who use them.

From a very young age, Shannon recalls numerous occasions where she noticed how her surroundings affected her focus, comfort, security and overall well-​being. «Creating a space that is functional, organized and a reflection of your interests and goals allow for more productivity and happiness.»

She continues to reinvent her personal and professional surroundings, discovering the right balance while sharing her experiences along the way.

Working closely with each client, the design process has and will continue to be collaborative. Shannon provides dynamic yet appropriate environments and solutions suitable for the brand or lifestyles defined.

She’s NCIDQ certified since 2009 and is currently studying for her NKBA exam.
