Classic Tile & Mosaic

wow — Unilocal keeps wanting me to review this place and I keep avoiding it. because even though I am a cranky man, my review of this place is so harsh, the words just seem so… unreal. I can’t believe how AWFUL this place was to me — on so many levels. Literally everything that a cartoon would portray about an evil business, this Place pulled off in live action. If you want to know all the evil, sketchy, crappy, slightly illegal stuff this place did, feel free to DM me.

oddly, there is an ‘owners comment’ from 2 years ago on this review I just posted 3 minutes ago. maybe it’s a bot? regardless, this is the same BS I got when I complained. Lots of talk, then lots of unanswered calls when confronted with facts.
funny that the amount of money I lost because of their awful business practice has been offset by tens of thousands of dollars of business I have made sure I turned away from them.

I noticed CTM had a great showroom and selection. I was immediately greeted with a smile and acknowledgment by Terrie who was happy to help with all of my questions when I entered the showroom. She was knowledgeable and had a keen eye for design. I was generously offered samples of the tiles I liked, which as anyone who has been to a showroom knows it’s not always that easy.
Terrie spent a lot of time helping me in the design process for my remodel; giving suggestions, pricing and checking on lead times. While we were working she was always courteous of other customers and I was impressed with her ability to help them and help me at the same time.
After my tile purchase all of my calls and emails have been responded to in a timely fashion. If I ever have the chance to do a remodel again I will seriously consider going back to CTM. They have a great showroom and a great selection. Check them out next time you’re shopping in Little Italy.

Being impressed with their website, I went down there. The store was neat and seemed to have a lot of stuff, but another customer told me that the sales lady had gone out to run an errand. I waited around for what seemed like forever, looked at every display in the store, and she still wasn’t back. I meandered outside for a couple minutes… still not back, so I left.
Better business savvy might get this place more customers.
