Hey its papa johns, it’s not some place trying to be gourmet and crazy fancy. You know what you are getting when you order from a papa johns… I ordered delivery, it came promptly, was exactly as I had ordered, the delivery girl was friendly enough. No complaints… I’m surprised at all the negative reviews as my experience was somewhere between neutral n positive. It’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had but I can order online, n don’t have to drive anywhere, n it’s pizza!

Ordered at the store and one of the drivers took the pizza. Antoine(I hope I spelled it right) the young guy working the front. Because we had to wait for a new pizza he refunded us the fee for the pizza. I didn’t ask for anything so I appreciate his quick thinking and good customer service. Thank you.

This place does not deserve a start at all. But unfortunately I have to put a star. Found multiple hairs on our pizza, in our pizza like it was intentionally put in there. This was the third time it happened, first two I’m sure was by mistake but shame on us for doing it again the third time. Manager was very polite and yes did want to make another one for us for free but I politely declined and asked for a refund. Told him it felt like we were being targeted bcuz we have called three times now over the same issue. Ugh I really would like to post the picture in this review but it won’t allow me.

We decided last minute we would get pizza. I had my boyfriend call up and I overheard a two minute conversation of him repeating the same thing over and over again. Then he kept putting him on hold… I took the phone to speed up the order. He had overcharged us and I was confused. He had said that one of the pizzas was an expensive one($ 19.99 was the cost for both of the specialty pizzas.) we were trying to order two specialty pizzas with a coupon. I went to explain I wanted the sausage one as the one we pay and the cheese one as the free one. He kept going no the cheese one is the one you pay for. After a minute of him cutting me off and arguing with me I frustratedly said ok either way we are getting the two and paying for one correct? He said yes do you want the pizzas!?! I said yes, to which he replies ok it will be 45 – 50 mins.(To deliver 12 minutes at 9 at night?) Ok and he hung up… Didn’t introduce himself, didn’t say goodbye, and didn’t wish me a good night. When the pizzas got here the driver complained about the drive… 12 minutes of driving… Then when I checked the pizza we got the 6 cheese one but to show how much the guy was ignoring me the specialty spicy sausage one was sausage and cheese… They lack customer service that shows in their inability to get orders correct…

I’ve ordered from this restaurant 4 times now and have never had a problem. My food always comes warm and just what I ordered. Usual wait time is always accurately estimated. I live within 2 miles of the store, maybe that is to my credit. Nonetheless, I have consecutively had pleasant experiences and will continue to order from this store because they deliver and I don’t like to leave my house.

Never ordering Papa Johns again! They got my order wrong, pizza was cold and they didn’t give us napkins or peppers. Also, the manager was very rude.

Ordered a square cut pizza with extra sauce(online where you can confirm the order is correct). Some how this translated to fuck you we’re Papa Johns and we ignore all of your instructions. The toppings were right at least. Why 1 star? This is common with Papa Johns and they need to go fuck themselves for charging $ 3 for a 2liter soda. I’m ordering Pizza Hut next time.

OK I don’t expect much from a take out only place like Papa Johns. But when I show up and told my pizza is indicated to be finished then wit 10+minutes because it is obviously misplaced only to get it given to me largely cold. Come on. Could’ve at least offered free side of wings or soda. Not travesty but not impressive either.

First incident — pizza was cold bc of late delivery. Second incident — forgot our drinks and extra garlic sauces that we paid in advance Third incident — no show. Said we did not put our apartment. The assistant manager pretty much try to put the blame back on us without looking at the invoice. Checked and it shows the apartment Last incident — called in. gave the apt directly. Said it wasn’t on there. Told them we even gave it over the phone and it’s our saved address. We had no issues before. Not sure why now the last couple of times there is an issue. Manager said he would call us back. No response. Had to call him back. Shame on me for allowing this to continue to happen.

Pizza here is great but delivery took an hour and I’m only 5 min away. They need to tighten that up!

This is the worst pizza place ever. I ordered my pizza and they told me it would take 50 minutes. 50 minutes was a long time, but I was okay with it. After waiting OVER an hour(an hour and 30 minutes to be exact) I got my delivery… A COLD. Ice cold. Pizza that looked like it was sitting out for an hour. Terrible!!! Papa johns needs to save the money they spend on all the commercials and make BETTER pizza! I would rather eat frozen pizza rolls than papa johns ever again.

We ordered several times there. Services were very good, especially from the asistant manager(or manager?) named Eric. Good credit for him. If you need something, just try to talk to him, he will give you as best as he could.

Ordered a carryout & was told it would be a 30 min wait. I guess that’s not bad for one large pizza on a Saturday night. I was picking up pizza for coworkers and this was the closest place by my work When I walked in there were so many workers taking orders and making pizza like a well oiled machine I was greeted right away and they were friendly The pizza was hot and the cheese was melted. perfect There is only a few people I know that likes Papa John for pizza but I love the pizza, breadsticks, especially the cinnapie The last few time I got the cinnapie it was more like breadstick with sugar, not sure if they ran out of the original ingredients to make them or if this is how they are now. It wasn’t at this location but I do miss the original dessert! Pretty cool place with pretty cool specials I paid $ 11 for a large 3 topping & it was more than enough for the three of us at work Don’t forget the garlic sauce and peppers!

So I was starving last night, and came up w/the brilliant idea to get some pizza. Papa John’s fit the bill, and it is relatively close, so I figured, I’ll check their lobby closing time(on Unilocal) and swing by for pickup. I saw all of the AWFUL reviews, so I was curious. **A funny pre-cursor, after dialing them up, & listening to the automated messaging system w/deals, etc. I was telling my roommate how bad the reviews were, when the guy came on the phone. I was virtually dragging their store, and the guy is like, ‘Hello?’ Lol great. Now I’m about to get some of this TERRIBLE service I was reading about. Or maybe not… Order my pizza, they tell me it’ll be ready in like 15 min. Said I could come pick up, and I ordered this pizza after 10 pm. I thought that was pretty cool. I didn’t want to wait 45 for delivery, the place is around the corner, and despite being a little late(especially on a Sunday evening) they allow you to still come in. So, from 1 star up to 2. Moving forward. I arrive(a little after 15 min.) and my pizza was ready. Upon arriving, the door was locked. There were a few people on duty, and the guy at the main desk used a buzzing mechanism to unlock the door. They also had a sign up, some guy(local) has been robbing multiple Papa John’s locations, so it looked like they were trying to keep him out. Good for them. Also good for any customers that might be in picking up their food at night. I saw a few reviews for this location that the pizza was undercooked/cold/whatever so I was worried about this. But checked it in the car, felt ok, looked good. Couldn’t see any territorial markings or «love squirts» from the verbal lashing I was giving the store from these angry Unilocal-ers. Turns out, my service was just fine. Pizza was yummy, on time, and w/o problems. This location got an additional star from me because when I asked for some cheese(can’t eat pizza w/o parmesan) the guy gave me like 7 – 8 packets. Nuts! That’s like, asking for extra napkins or ketchup and they give you exactly what you’re looking for! I ordered a large pizza, but he gave me enough for this order, and probably the next time I have pizza/pasta/etc. and the restaurant skimps me. I thought that was super cool. All in all, I don’t think this place deserves all of the negative ratings it received, at least from this one encounter.(which it looks like MOST of these reviews are based off of just that; one encounter) The staff was cordial, order was on time, food was cooked(although I won’t give it a 4th star because while it was warm, I would’ve liked it a little hotter. But I did pull up a little later, so could’ve been me) AND they gave me a surplus of take-home cheese. Sounds like a bunch of disgruntled reviewers in this particular area(military housing is nearby on both sides) so I’m glad the risk paid off. Thanks PJ’s crew!

Worst Papa Johns pizza place. Every time we order pizza from here somehow we always get under cooked pizza. We asked for welldone pizza but the cheese is not melted all the way. When you take a slice front the box, all the toppings slide off front the slice.

So we normally enjoy papa johns pizza and although I didn’t have a problem with the pizza, the service at this location is awful. I walked in yesterday and there was two cashiers in the front an 5 people in the back, they all looked at me and no one said a word. I basically stood there for about 3 minutes until a girl making pizza in the back walked up and greeted me, lets get real now there is over a a million places that people get pizza at your customer service has to be on point, I’m not expecting anyone to just be kissing my as$ but at least acknowledge you PAYING customers. I hope the owner of this specific location is reading this. Good luck, people actually care how they are treated.

Ordered delivery after we messed up dinner tonight. It was good enough, made to their factory specs and came in about 40 minutes. Not the best pizza, but for chains, I think Papa John’s is on top. Their website has some pretty good deals for ordering.

My husband and I have tried ordering from the Murphy Canyon Papa John’s three times now through their online ordering system. Every time we order online, our cards get charged but we are always given an error and are unable to complete the order. We’ve called our bank asking if the charge went through and the bank confirms that the charges posted as a pending charge. But when we call Papa John’s they say they never received the order through their system. We have never had any issues ordering from Papa John’s anywhere else around the country except from this location. Needless to say we will not be frequenting this location due to this issue. Yes, we could call over the phone but to be able to use the«Papa Rewards Points» you need to order online. Hopefully they get this issue fixed soon.

**Delivery(ies) Only** Order #: 132412048(So hopefully a manager knows who the guy smoking on the job is) We use the fancy order online when we get pizza. After long work hours and being in traffic the want to drive and get pizza is not so much in our forte. However… I feel like that might have to change. We have gotten our pizza delivered 4 different times. 1st: The guy was outstanding and when he got lost he called. Then followed directions and met me outside the gate and sincerely apologized even though his directions were wrong(which tends to happen on some phone gps things). Never thought to get his name and should have because he is the only one who can listen apparently. 2nd: An hour passed as we waited… I decided to look out the window to see if maybe they were coming to the gate soon… there it is a papa johns car waiting at the gate just sitting there. My message online says: PULLOVERTOTHERIGHTCURBANDCALL. This is because we live outside the gate. But you can only type so much on the message. By the time I got outside someone had let him in and he zoomed around the building. Well lucky me went after him only to get a cold pizza. I wonder how long he waited at the gate for this gated community. 3rd: Somehow he managed to get in and actually got to the right building and apartment and the pizza was hot. Nice guy! So i thought hey maybe online a couple people are dumb! 4th: TONIGHT8.19.11 As I peer out my window I see the papa johns car pull up. A nice resident let him in and by the time I got on my patio he had zoomed around the corner and parked on the other side of the building. I said«hey i said to call me. And i know someone let you in but you could have turned the corner to stop and park» He said:” oh sorry i didnt have my phone on me“ Well our food was hot BUT why wouldn’t you have your phone on you if you are making a delivery. What if you had gotten lost or your car broke down. Then i peer out the ktichen window as he left and he LITUP A CIGARETTE! Okay Ill admit i smoke on occasion BUT i would never smoke in my car if i made DELIVERIES. Its unprofessional and disgusting. I’m appalled. And if a manager doesn’t respond I will be saying something in the morning. I’m annoyed with the stupidity of simple directions. If people had parked outside the gate Id just have to walk down my stairs and I would be there. I wouldn’t have to chase my dinner like a lion for bison!
