Stand Up Paddle Boarding, or SUP, is a low impact sport that strengthens the core, tones every muscle, and gets you on the water enjoying nature. Yoga improves your flexibility and balance, while restoring all bodily systems by creating physical, mental, and spiritual harmony. The health benefits and simplicity SUP Yoga make them the perfect match! At Paddle Into Fitness, you will find a unique way to get into shape, have fun, and maintain a healthy lifestyle!
Paddle Into Fitness was created by Gillian Gibree (Roxy SUP professional athlete and cover model on Yoga Journal Magazine) in 2010. It has grown into three locations, offers a SUP Yoga Certification program, and was nominated for Best Yoga in San Diego. Paddle Into Fitness has been featured in Natural Health, Women’s Adventure, Foam, and Women’s Surf Style Magazine.

Gillian G.
Business Owner
When Gillian isn’t busy teaching SUP YOGA, she can be found competing in SUP races. Gillian placed first in the Waikiki Quiksilver Festival in the SUP Survivor Race and the Water woman Race, and also competed as a member of Team USA during the ISA World Championships in Peru. Gillian also shows her philanthropic side when she annually paddles 36 miles across the Cape Cod Bay to raise money for the Boston Children’s Hospital. Gillian has a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, is a certified Yoga for Surfer’s and Core Power Yoga Instructor, and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She has a decade of ocean lifeguarding experience and is a certified Emergency Medical Technician and Water Safety Instructor. Gillian is sponsored by Roxy, Ocean Minded, Kialoa Paddles, and 404 SUP. She has been a presenter at the San Diego Yoga Journal Conference and Wanderlust Festival Oahu, and was featured on the cover of SUP Magazine and Yoga Journal Magazine.
