We are currently open at 10:00am Saturday and Sunday. Available for rentals Monday thru Friday by reservation only. Please email us for reservations.

The SUP Connection provides San Diego with a first class on the water experience by providing paddleboard and kayak rentals, SUP Yoga classes, bayside fitness classes and more. We are open seasonally on the waterfront in front of the Courtyard Marriott Liberty Station in Point Loma. The SUP Connection is also mobile with the ability to come to you for that group event, birthday party, charity fundraiser, summer camps and more. We can bring paddleboards and kayaks to your desired location in San Diego.

We are located on the water with the equipment all ready to go. No transporting of equipment necessary. We also supply the paddle, life jacket and leash. With the beautiful Liberty Station park as our backdrop, we can help make setting up a party easier. The SUP Connection can set up a tent adjacent to our location along with a table, cover, cooler with ice, 2 beach chairs, 2 SUP’s and 2 paddleboards for 4 hours for one low rate. Additional equipment and time is available for a fee.

History

Established in 2014.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding is a relatively new paddling sport whereby the paddler stands up on a board similar to a surf board. The paddler and the board are propelled across the top of the water by the use of a long single-​bladed paddle. A 2013 report called it the outdoor sporting activity with the most first-​time participants of any in the United States.

We provide the board, paddle, lifejacket and instruction. We offer group and private lessons. We can come to your beach of choice or you can meet us at our rental location at the Courtyard Marriott Liberty Station in Point Loma.
