We recently put the remaining of our belongings in a storage unit in Oceanside Ca. After we had already moved out of state, we were ready to move the remaining of our belongings. It was difficult to decide on a long distance reasonable mover. I am truly thankful we decided to use Omega. We provided list of our belongings, and received quote that remained unchanged upon delivery! Everything went smoothly and we are so happy to have our stuff. Thank you!

I used them for a long distance move and the service was s#%t! I dont recommend for long distance moves at all!!! Go with a more reputable long distance moving company…

Can’t give negative stars but would love to ! The owner is a COWARD like really what type of business are you running? He’s also a SCAM ! If they mess up your move they will try every way possible to say it’s your fault even going so far as to changing the inventory without consulting you will be calling the better business bureau tomorrow ! Never moving with these idiots again ! They will put you through hell like show up to your house & tell you they can’t take all your stuff because they don’t have room so they leave stuff behind they worry more about taking your money than actually making sure you have a great experience with them. They are literally a disaster from hell ! & they definitely aren’t professional I do not know how they’re still in business ! Owner & managers do not exist. They also will argue you down, & have an attitude. Save yourself the stress.

My daughter needed to move from SF to LA and we choose Omega based on the services we could get, for a fair price. The men that came and moved her from the 3^rd floor never complained about the conditions they just did their job. Moving is a pain as it is without hired help adding to the stress. Omegas guys had all the materials and tools to make the job go fast. Communication on when they would be there and what they would charge, no surprices or excuses. I would recommended them to anyone.

Just wanted to say how marvelous the guys were! They made it bearable for me and I survived it — and so will you. I promise!
I spoke with Trish on several occasions, easy communication, we went over furniture and my needs, I received a flat rate quote and that was it. No stress, no hidden fees, all upfront! I was told that if on the moving day there is an extra PIANO — there would obviously be a change in my flat rate but otherwise nothing.
The move was daunting and overwhelming for me due to the fact I completely forgot how many additional boxes I had in the storage! I thought oh boy, here goes another $ 1,000! NOPE. All extra boxes, time and space was $ 200 extra. I am waiting for my delivery right now but I bet the service will be stellar again so the only thing I am wondering is WHY din’t I do it earlier? Thank you so much!

My girlfriend Lynn recommended this company to me. I was super happy to have a referral at all given all the crazy stuff you hear about movers. When I called the office the girl (Trish) was very nice and understanding. She understands when you are stressed about the move that you are going nuts, and she was very patient to that extent. The price on the overall move came to about $ 40 more, but that was no problem as it was the cost to pack a mirror that I missed. I will definitely recommend this company to family in the future. Everything arrived without damage, and I am just sorry it took me so long to post this review of praise.

Yes moving can be really stressful! After receiving several quotes from different movers, i choose Omega based on how precise they were with their quote and I dealt with Trish throughout who was very patient in explaining me everything.
My Quote did not increase from the final estimate in fact it decreased by $ 20. I think I might have over estimated the items. Guy who came to move my stuff were pretty quick and they moved everything in less than 2 hours.
Delivery was within 10 days and guy who came to deliver were pretty quick too. However, i was disappointed to see the cover from the mattress was totally ripped off leaving my mattress really dirty. That was my only concern.
Two of my frames came broken but I was expecting such minor damages and they were not expensive. I am really happy that I used Omega to ship my stuff they are very reliable and their quote will not increase if your inventory does not change. They are very transparent as well.

We wanted to express our sincerest thanks to Jesus and his awesome crew for moving us with such speed and care for my things. I had a lot of last minute changes and requests along the way and they were super friendly in acquiescing my needs.
Bottom line, Omega Moving and Storage is a wonderful company and I have had nothing but great experiences with them.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! SERIOUSLY. THIS COMPANY IS GARBAGE. They deserve 0 stars. We had the UNFORTUNATE EXPERIENCE of using them to move our family of 5 to San Diego, from the Bay Area thinking that if we used a «local» company things would go great, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
It was the most STRESSFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, HORRIFYING experience I’ve ever had moving!!! Save yourself the AGONY and USE ANOTHER COMPANY. PLEASE! And don’t expect any assistance from the owner if you have any problems. The owner of this company doesn’t give a damn about if they inconvenience you during your move. If you ask to speak to the owner, he’ll be «out of the country» a lot. What a joke of an excuse that was time after time. Never once did the owner call me to find out what the problem was, hear my side of the story or do anything a compensate us for our tremendous inconvenience.
The day of our move THEY SENT A TRUCK THAT WAS TOO SMALL!!! Omega Moving & Storage (my husband spoke with Trish) COMPLETELY MISCALCULATED WHAT SIZE TRUCK WE NEEDED for our 2500 sqft home. Are you kidding me!!! I was horrified when the driver tells us we’re going to have to leave some of our belongings behind because IT WON’T ALL FIT IN THE TRUCK!!! Can you imagine hearing this THE DAY you’re moving your family’s entire life over 400 miles away? Not to mention the fact that we were in contract to sell our home and needed all of our belongings out of our home.
The driver admitted that he knew his truck was too small just by looking at our house from the outside & not even seeing any of our belongings yet. We then had to go through the TORMENT of going through our home & put POST-​IT NOTES ON ALL OF OUR STUFF TO DETERMINE WHAT STAYED & WHAT WOULD GO ON THE TRUCK! I was absolutely MORTIFIED & IN TEARS the day we were suppose to be packing up our home to move to San Diego. Not to mention we have a 5yr, 3yr old and 10 month old baby we’re trying to take care of while all this mess was going on. Total disastrous mess!
On top of all that, the 4 contracted guys that were scheduled to help the driver Mark load the truck NEVER SHOWED UP!!! (Not mention he admitted this happens often to him on his jobs). Wait I thought they said all the movers were «their employees»? Complete BS! So the driver began loading our 2500 sqft home into a truck that was too small BY HIMSELF. What a joke!!! As I sit there getting ready to drive 10hrs+ to our new home with my family and leave my house full of boxes & 1 guy loading the truck I’m overwhelmed with emotion & apprehensive to say the least about this whole thing & really wish we would have used a different moving company.
Meanwhile, over course of 4 hours of Mark repeatedly called the main office to try to get more guys to help him load the truck. About 4.5 hours later 1 guy gets drop off by a buddy to help load the truck & he looked like he just got released from prison.
The owner was always out of the country conveniently very time we asked to speak to him. I have no respect for him to not man up and calls us back to hear our side of what happened.
When I called the NEW OFFICE MANAGER to try and reconcile our situation she proceeded to MOCK ME and then at the end of our conversation make a snide comment about the fact that at least I didn’t live THERE anymore; insinuating it was a crappy place to live. How insulting and bitchy are you lady!!! The nerve of this woman to INSULT ME after all I was put thru by this company! IT was THE last straw.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are unprofessional and give horrible moving service. PERIOD.

My parents used Omega Moving to move about 10 miles from one apartment to another. Jesus and his crew were fast, professional, and always careful with their stuff. My parents have moved more times than I can count, and of all the moving companies they’ve hired in the past, Omega was the easiest, quickest, and by far the cheapest. Give them a try!

I recently moved and these guys were aesome! I was really nervous about using a moving company as but Omega moving put all my worries at ease. I had called and they gave me an estimate of how much it would cost to move all of my stuff and they emailed me all of the paperwork. I wanted to make sure there was not going to be any surprises in pricing so they sent out and estimator (for free) to give me an exact cost.
When moving day came everything went smoothly I had everything packed and the 3 man crew was able to disassemble my bed and other furniture without a problem. When we got to my new place they also reassembled my furniture as well (there wasn’t a single bolt missing).
Moving is so stressful and these guys make it as smooth as possible. They were well organized, did break or damage any of my things, and there was no surprise price hikes when the job was done. I would definitely use them again if I move.

I would definitely recommend omega moving and storage to those who need help moving. The move started out a little bumpy with trucks that came late, but once they arrived these guys were amazing. We worked with Ron Carroll and Jonathan. They were extremely efficient, careful, cautious of the walls, and most important personable. During the pickup, my wife was the one who had to direct them what to do, being that I was at work, and all she kept saying how nice and helpful they were. If you use omega, definitely ask for Ron and Jonathan.
The guys did all they could to help the process run smoothly and move as quickly as possible. The owner was accommodating as well, as he understood we were slightly behind schedule so he added another person to get us back on time. The fact that they took responsibility for the delay and rectified the situation goes a long way and hopefully other business owners take note.

Want to write a quick update regarding the actual move…
Everything was great and went really fast. The main two moves jesus and hexon were both extremely professional and friendly. The other two movers at the pick-​up site (sorry can’t remember their names) were great as well.
The turn around time for the pick-​up and drop-​off were amazing. They picked up my stuff on Saturday and dropped it off on Monday!!! Pretty, pretty good. All the items delivered maintained their condition (everything was wrapped up extremely well). The best part was their customer service with setting everything up. Jesus even fixed our cabinet that has been uneven for a couple years now.
All in all, great experience with Omega and would highly recommend them to a friend. I probably over-​tipped the movers, but they did a great job and I really appreciate them going above and beyond even for a small move. Love the orange trucks too!

Jesus and Crew did a great job! They moved our entire office in what I am sure is some kind of record time. Nothing was broken, nothing was lost, and they were a huge help when some of the staff got overly picky about where they wanted things. Thanks guys!

Called and got a quote over the phone. Gave them an inventory of things needing to be moved. When the crew arrived, they refused to move appliances without my threatening not to pay. I had an almost empty home already when they came because I moved everything on my own before hand, just needed the big things moved DOWN THE STREET to a different house. These bums left with valuable furniture sitting in my garage because I wouldn’t pay double time fees. I would have completed this job with a couple of buddies and some beers in half the time. Live and learn. This place is a scam, and if you use them, you will be sorry.

They agreed to move items from storage in San Diego to my Los Angeles office and took a $ 50 deposit. I told them my office building required two million dollars in insurance coverage (most professional movers have one million) to allow them to use the freight elevator and I faxed them the information sheet from the landlord about this. They said that was no problem, that they had enough insurance.
A few days before the move they called and said they did not, in fact, have enough insurance so they needed to get it and I would pay for their annual premium, making the cost of my move double from about $ 1,000 to over $ 2,000 for this one day move. They said they «thought» they had enough insurance earlier. Believe me, businesses know how much insurance they have. Because of their misrepresentation I had to scramble at the very last minute to find other movers with the proper amount of insurance, which was really tough.
Omega then never refunded the $ 50 deposit I gave them in good faith and after their confirmation that they had the insurance that they didn’t and could do that job that they wouldn’t, despite REPEATED requests. Their answer was always «yeah, we put in a request» then nothing then I emailed and called again then the same answer. After several weeks of that game I finally had to file a dispute with my credit card company and the credit card company gave me the refund.

I recently used Omega moving for my move from San Francisco to San Diego, after comparing other companies quotes, Omega had the lowest price and told me delivery would be in 3 to 5 days. I checked out the Unilocal reviews and decided to risk it — BIG MISTAKE — from start to finish using Omega Moving has clearly been a bad decision. I booked with a customer service representative a month before my move and was guaranteed pick up on July 2^nd and delivery within 3 – 5 days. I called a week in advance to confirm all moving details and to check if they had a delivery time for my stuff in San Diego. The customer service agent I was interacting with confirmed all my details but still didn’t know what date my stuff would arrive in SD. The next day I received a call from that same person saying a truck broke down and I would no longer be able to move me on July 2^nd. I was told if I was flexible, and could move July 1^st, there wouldn’t be a problem; I begrudgingly agreed, and started frantically packing. Someone from dispatch called me the next day to confirm the time and details of my move. She told me that it was not possible to move me on July 1^st, and I would have to wait a week. We spoke over the phone about the move and I was told my items would be picked up July 7^th or 8^th and delivered July 9^th or 10^th. I was told if I did not agree to the new dates my move with Omega, my move would be cancelled. I did not appreciate the ultimatum — honestly, what company that prides itself on quality customer service does that? Answer: NONE! I asked the dispatch person to be reasonable with me. If they had to move my dates back a week then give me something in return, perhaps a discount on my move. I was told that there was very little profit in my move, and there was no way, they could give me a discount. Basically, by the end of our discussion, I once again left feeling that they didn’t value me. I told her fine, but I needed the new dates in writing so I didn’t get screwed again — I was sent an email about a half hour later confirming later dates for my move than what was agreed upon on the phone. So, I responded by email stating it wasn’t what we discussed on the phone and CCed Omega Moving’s CEO to the email, since I felt he needed to know how poorly I was being treated by his employees and how his company was underperforming.
I received a phone call a couple days later from dispatch stating they would go back to the dates stated on the phone. So, I guess involving the CEO helped — but, I of course, I should have never been put in the situation where I needed to do that. When it came time for the two man team to collect my items from my apartment in San Francisco, I actually started to get better customer service. Both guys were funny, personable, and seemed to understand my concerns about a disconnect between what customer service promised and what dispatched delivered. But after my items were picked up, once again dealing with customer service became difficult, and all I wanted to know was when my items would be delivered. I called and ended up waiting a whole day for someone to get back to me. When my items arrived, I was highlighting the numbered items on the inventory sheet as they brought in boxes and furniture, and discovered that all of my furniture was marked with conditions that were nowhere near the actual condition. Clean, barely used furniture was marked with symbols that represented chipped, stained, dented, scratched, badly worn, and faded. For example, a velvet blue chair that I had been recently reupholstered was marked «badly warn & faded». I understand that they want to cover themselves in the chance they damage something, but this is blatant lying and dishonestly. It should also be noted that when you’re filling out paperwork as they pick up your items and drop them off that there is a customer service form that asks you to score their work, but at the bottom asks if you were satisfied with your move would you be willing to tip your movers, and what amount will you give them by what method of payment. That is a little over the top — honestly, I guess you’re reminding me to tip, but tipping movers isn’t really a standard practice. Two of my items did not end up getting delivered to my place on time. I was told there were some new inexperienced people that had unloaded another shipment from the truck and took my two items by mistake, but they got me those items the next day. The cost of my move including elevator fees and long carry fees was just under $ 1400. Considering how much they screwed up (moving my dates, not delivering all my items) Omega moving didn’t make any amends in any way, including the price.

Used Omega Moving & Storage for the first time upon the recommendation of the building we were moving into. I left a message in the evening around 7pm requesting a call/​quote the next day. Élan called me back within an hour and helped me out.
Come moving day, the team showed up on time and took excellent care of our furniture. Everything was wrapped nicely, safely, and at no time was I worried something wasn’t going to make it to our new home safely.
Fast forward to our destination, they got there early and we had to wait for our move in appointment with the building. We bought the guys In-​N-​Out and chatted. Super nice team. They took the initiative to do some pre-​work to get ready so that come appointment time, they were set with the move-​in.
Down the street, up the elevator, into our unit, they took great care of the building, our furniture, and hardwood floors. They got the job done fast and under the original estimate Élan gave me.
Not a single complaint and I will for sure use them again!
