So happy I found Dr Crawford! I had to have some fillings replaced and he is meticulous with his work and his staff are always so nice and down to earth. Dentist’s are not always a pleasant visit but I am more than happy with Dr Crawford’s work. Highly recommend!

This place sucks!!! They never answer there phones there doors are locked even if you have an appointment! I will never return here again

I moved from out of state to San Diego and have been to this dentist, twice. First time was ok, but the second time, I arrived about 15 mins early and there was a wait for over 2 hours! No phone call to reschedule, nothing. I rescheduled and had my cleaning completed. Now I have a dental emergency and call and leave a msg to be called back. The next day, at around noon I called and asked about why I wasn’t call and the person said they had over 40 mags and have only got to number 20. What? Listen to your msgs and find the must call backs and do it. Then I was told I should go back to the dentist that did the work. what? I can’t, I live in San Diego and he is in Washington State. Her forget it, I’ll find a dentist who cares about their patients. 1−800-Dentist. Seems the 2000+ dollars I spent to find my emergency wasn’t really needed at this office. SHAME ON YOU!

My insurance recommended me this doctor so I wanted to try it. The front desk receptionist are very rude and not professional first to say. I wanted to make an appointment and they never called me back to reschedule. I had to call back myself, and they still have not returned my call to make an appointment. I have not been pleased so far. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has Experienced this.

I went to this dental office because they take Tricare. I should have walked out the first time I went… the whole office is dated, dirty, and old. The dentist immediately starts working on you before letting you answer! I will say that their co-​pays were small but it’s not worth it. The dental assistants were different each time and the dentist NEVER listens. I was told I needed to see an oral surgeon and when I never got the referral I went into the office. They put me in a chair, did xrays, and then told me I was having a root canal… WTH?! I came in only for a referral. When I said that I wasn’t there for a root canal they billed me $ 700! Failure to have a service done… are you kidding me!!!
Plain and simple, find a different dentist!

Excellent dentist. The only one I’ll go to. I’ve been to some really bad dentists in my time, and he’s a keeper. I’ve had fillings replaced, needed a couple of crowns, and he does amazing work. The shape, the colormatching, the fit, all perfect. Not so much «patched up» as «good as new.» Plus, I never worry whether I need the work done or if he’s just milking my insurance. He goes over my x-​rays, telling me not only which teeth need to be fixed but also which he needs to keep an eye on. I always say: once you find a good denist, mechanic, or haircutter, don’t go anywhere else.

Great dentist and VERY professional. I have been going for years and have never had an issue. His staff is friendly and always willing to converse with me. As for Melinda, maybe a smile and a friendly demeanor would go light years with you as you seen like a very difficult person. Just a simple observation on my part. Also, why would race be an issue? I don’t go to restaurants, mechanics, entertainment venues, etc. based on another individuals skin color; that’s absurd! Staying on target, he is very knowledgeable and I will continue going back for years to come.

Dr. Crawford has provided my dental care for over 15 years and is an amazing Dentist! He is an honest and humble man who takes the time to converse with each patient he sees. The staff is also very friendly and professional.
Great Dental Office.

I’ve been Dr. Crawford’s patient since 1992. My sons also have been patients for the past 15 and 13 years. He’s the most honest dentist you’ll find – he does the work needed to be done without «over-​doing» anything to collect insurance like some other dentists I’ve seen in the past. His staff is awesome, and I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience other than having to wait awhile because he takes time with his patients. (We always have to talk «Chargers» before he gets to work on me! ha!)
I’m amazed that anyone had mentioned anything do to with race on here. Really?!? Does race affect service?!? I happen to be white, he happens to be black, his staff happens to be Pacific Islander/white/black…and, to refer to MLK, does that affect «content of character?» SHEESH. He’s an awesome, honest dentist. If you want that, come here. If you have a race issue over who fixes your teeth, I pity you, and probably think the likes of people like that don’t see dentists anyhow… HA!

Dr. Crawford is great. Thanks to Miss Marie and the rest of the staff I had all my work completed here. I began treatment at the location off of Euclid and Logan. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Crawford’s at Murphy Canyon Dental Group for over 10 years and have received excellent care. I am not a typical patient; Dr. Crawford has seen me through some pretty touchy treatment issues. I happened upon this Unilocal review while looking up his phone # today and was really taken aback by the scurrilous review based on factors irrelevant to dentistry, e.g., the Dr. doesn’t give out cool freebies to kids, and, most shocking, the complaint that the office staff isn’t white. (Huh? Maybe the reviewer was looking for a department store Santa Claus and walked into a dental office by mistake!) I highly recommend Murphy Canyon Dental, especially if, like me, you work in one of the offices along Murphy Canyon.

Warning to all, don’t go here, so I had an apt set for my kid, drive there and the hours on door says they are closed that day. I sat in my car and waited, then a girl comes by dress in street clothes, no scrubs and opens the door, I went to check in, was told dental assistant Was late and so is the dentist. There was no other patient besides my kid. Waited half an hour. They put wrong picture in their advertisement, showing white dentist with white staff, friendly smiles dress in scrubs, wtf. That is not even him. When I saw him he didn’t even greet me, too busy on his cell phone. their cleaning tools was all rusty on the tip. The cleaning was just random, he didn’t clean all the teeth, at the end, no toothbrush kit, I guess they were out of stock and too lazy to reorder, he gave my son a sticker that had disgusting crap on the back, it was a use sticker, I was so disgusted and wanted to grab and throw it away. We had to wait on the dentist who was too busy on his cell phone, I met him, was not friendly.
I regret taking my son here. Very unprofessional staff and rusty tools.
