I am extremely disappointed with the service that I got today. First of all I felt manipulated to pay an amount that we never agreed upon. When I spoke to Kevin he told me the service will cost 500 dollars and he assured me it wouldn’t cost more than that. When I showed up, I told him I didn’t need a tire rotation and balancing because I have a package deal with discount tire. He said he will not charge me for it and will save me the time and stress of going to discount tire. He gave me an initial estimated cost of 550 and yes I did initial it in good faith and trust. When I showed up to pick the car, Kevin told me he was gong to make some adjustment to the price as promised. To my surprise and disgust the adjustment was a savings of 3 dollars. Ha! Yes the final bill was 547. What happened to the 500 dollars and not charging me for the tire rotation. I was so upset but I didn’t say anything because of his little girl who happened to be there. I was very disappointed. Will I come back here? Nope. Two stars because of the nice guy that helped me locate my bag that I forgot in the loaner. The loaner is not a loaner but a car rental service. The loaner didn’t even have the courtesy to call me about my bag. I had to spend ten minutes looking for my bag. Also I found some trash in my car and a stain on the driver site. I always leave positive reviews but I couldn’t help but leave this review.

Had to take my car in for maintenance, I love how welcoming they are and Matt Clark, the person who was in charge of the service for my car was extremely helpful and accommodating. Love the service.

I’m a first time buyer and I MUST say that their service was amazing. If you’re interested in buying a car or checking out a car, no pressure then please please work with Shawn Collins! And if you do buy, go see Sam in finance! In the end, I never felt pressured into buying my car. They’re looking out in your best interest, and wallet! Amazing customer service
My mom and I were just looking, had no intention of buying unless we were offered a great deal. We were looking into Altimas and at first, we were working with an older gentleman. To be honest, if we didn’t get switched to Shawn, we probably wouldn’t have gotten the car. Shawn has a way with customers and he claims he has a way of selling and I admit, he’s right. He thoroughly explained all the features to me, and he’s funny! Afterwards, he had put the numbers together for us, and for me as a first time buyer, it’s expensive. Shawn was up and down from his desk trying to get us the best deal and it still wasn’t working out in our favor. My mom and I said our thank yous, was ready to leave to go shop around some more until the manager came up to us and tried to work with us. I forgot his name but he’s definitely great as well! In the end, it definitely worked out in our favor and we walked out with a brand new Altima! It was a little hectic given that it’s Memorial Day weekend, but Sam in finance was able to get us out right away!

I’ve been buying Nissans for well over 10 years now and I have to say my recent experiences (yes that’s plural) not only exceeded my expectations, but was nothing short of amazing!
From my encounter in the service department with TK and Cesar to getting a loaner rental (while my car was being taken care of) to meeting Gloria when I decided to inquire about buying a new vehicle to Ali, Jared and all of the Finance department to Brian who assisted Gloria… it was truly an experience to remember!
Everyone listened to my issues/​concerns, answered the tons of questions I had and made sure I understood everything I was signing. Every time I came to the dealership (during the process of purchasing my new vehicle), I was greeted with smiles. It was a comfortable environment that made you feel like you’re a part of the family. I am now the proud owner of a 2016 Nissan Sentra SR!

So disappointed. David Gunn saw my bf & I putting gas & preyed on us like a predator. OUr car was older but we didn’t want to buy just anything. We NEEDED something though and David promised a GREAT selection of cars within our prediscussed budget. When we arrived, the cars he showed up were waaaaaaay in the back & beat up. I can find those kind of cars on craigslist. When we found a car that was DECENT, we went for a drive, I wanted to sit in the back, but he insisted I get a feel for the passenger side. After being uncomfortably pressured by the female financing agent, we decided to purchase. The car didnt come with door mats. ALso, there is a special air pump that comes with Rios but this one didnt have it. Lastly, THERE WAS NO SPARE. There was space for it but it wasn’t there. David Gunn promised that he would include it with purchase. I would just need to wait for it to comein. After purchasing, I get home & realize the driver door doesn’t lock!!! I took it back & they fixed it. The following week, my Mom wants to drive the car so I sit in the back seat. THE BACK SPEAKERS DONT WORK!!! NOW I SEE WHY DAVID GUNN DIDNT WANT ME TO SIT IN THE BACK! WHAT A SNAKE!!! Theeeenn, the following week, there is a burn mark on the dash. You can tell they put soooo much ArmorAll on the burn mark that it wasn’t visible until weeks later. What happened when I called the dealership? They said that since it had been so long since date of purchase, I would have to pay for repairs. The icing on the cake? There were no notations of receiving a spare tire. Are you &%$#()^ kidding me??? Mossy Nissan & David Gunn are a jokes.

Usually most dealers are whatever, but I was really impress with their customer service. I would recommend seeing TK! He really makes a effort catering to your needs. Every time I bring in my car, he really cares about helping you out. TK really wants to give you the best deal for you. He will go out of his way to tend to your service because he cares that much. Very personable, patient and positive.

Sean in Customer Service made a concerted effort to contact me to work this outt. Offered me a credit so I can get free maintenance for the life of my lease. Advised me that those who treated me poorly were no longer working for them. People make mistakes, I know, and I’m glad they were able to put things right!

I have bought 2 Murano’s from Sean when he was up in Oceanside at Mossey Nissan Oceanside and followed him to Kearny Mesa! He is ALWAYS so polite, courteous and friendly when I see him! I feel like we are family :). He knows everything about my car, my wants and my needs. He always directs me to the specific person to deal with and ALWAYS makes sure everything is to my satisfaction 110%! Thanks Sean!
Today I needed an oil change and my normal Service Advisor, Michael was off. BUT I sent him a message and he referred me to TK! Micheal is as I say
when it comes to service. He knows Nissans SOOO well, communicates with me on my level (bc I don’t understand cars, and makes sure I’m completely satisfied when I leave. Even sends me an email to follow up a few days later! Today I saw TK. Not only did I call to see if they were busy but I left a message and TK called me back within 5 mins.
When I arrived TK welcomed me with a smile, asked me what I needed, looked up my cars history and gave me a recommendation. I trust him since he’s working there and they have everything documented in the computer. I bought a package of oil changes and a filter. I didn’t know if I really needed it BUT he saved it and showed it to me. NASTY!
TK called me when my car was almost finished and kept me in the loop as to if anything else was needed on my Murano!
I always enjoy visiting Mossy and know when I am ready to buy I am going to deal with BIG SHAWN ;) he has a great memory and ALWAYS says hello to me when I’m in for service. Never pressured me to buy just always saying hello and asking how my day is!

I’ve been meaning to write this review, though I hate doing poor ones but this is deserved. I’ve visited this dealership twice for service on my car. The first time was for an oil change. I had a great experience, so I figured I’d return. However, the second time resulted in me having to deal with a rather rude individual – Michael Teng. I would definitely say he was the worst service person I’ve encountered in a long time. First, there was no greeting and he already presented himself as stand-​offish. Second, while I was in the middle of explaining the issue I was having with my car, he interrupted me to tell me the cost for his ‘service men’ to look at it. I then explained I had paid for a warranty and was under the impression things such as door locks would be covered. He looked in the computer and didn’t see the warranty in my customer profile. At this point, he said, «Well, I’m not going to chase down a warranty. I’ve already done that dance before and I won’t do the leg work for you.» I didn’t recall asking him to do anything but rather for him to tell me what he needed. So I ended up calling the dealership I bought it from and they easily pulled up the warranty and stated it should be visible on Mossy’s screen. He seemed even more perturbed by this and it was clear he didn’t want my business – I was fine not giving it to him. Ultimately I just had the oil change done but decided that would be it. There are good folks at Mossy but for me, all it takes in one bad experience and I take my money elsewhere. Teng needs a brush-​up in customer service, desperately.

THEY GENUINELY CARE ABOUT GOOD SERVICE.
We got a sales rep who was fairly new, though he did a great job. They were able to work with us on a great price and interest rate.
A few days after we bought the car they called us in to give us an even lower interest rate!

Great experience. Ryan was a great sales rep. Bought a used car, no pressure. Easiest buy ever. The French finance guy was very personable and didn’t pressure us to buy any extras. They work with a lot of banks for finance options. I highly recommend this dealership.

I got my second Nissan from here and got serviced several times. TK was professionalism, attentive and informative. He is helpful, explains everything very well. Punctual, job done on time or even early.
I went there for oil change, needed to find out differences of oil qualities and their purposes, and I got my answer which made it easier for me to make my choices.
I would highly recommend TK, he is the guy you should go to.

Don’t bring your car to this place for service, they will over-​charge you for ridiculous labor fees!
Today I had my car serviced at this dealership for 15K miles, and they charged me for $ 570+, in which $ 300+ was the ridiculous labor fees.
I used to drive a Ford, and I remember Ford service was almost free in the first 3 years if you buy a new car, and they will only charge for the parts/​materials if necessary; and the Ford dealer will charge labor fees from Ford instead of the customer.
Compared to Ford service, Nissan offers free rental car, which is a plus; but, the overcharged labor fees by Nissan are sufficient to pay several days of car rental @ Enterprise/​Avis etc… so it’s not worth it.
This Nissan dealership charges labor fees in an insane way, as those Collision repair shops charge the insurance company. I’m not as wealthy as an insurance company, and I won’t visit this place anymore.
Moreover, it seems that car dealerships in the San Diego area have some kind of monopoly, either in over-​charged service or higher-​than-​average car sale prices; and many of them have bad reputations.
If you get a chance, go to car dealers in the Los Angeles area; they have more competitions against each other, and they can provide better prices and cheaper services to customers.

My Service Adviser, Thanh Khuu better known as T.K. is very knowledgeable and really cares about his customers. This was only my second time receiving service from him but first of all he remembered me and he provided the same excellent customer service as before. If you own a Nissan and live in San Diego, California, please take your vehicle to be serviced by
T. K. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve purchased 3 brand new Nissan vehicles from this dealership. The latest was a new Sentra for my wife. Their service department has been horrible. The latest episode was two weeks ago when my 2013 Sentra broke down on the freeway when my wife was driving. I called the service department and left 3 messages including 1 to the service manager and nobody bothered to return my calls. So I took towed my car to a mechanic and he replaced the fuel pump. Car only has 40k mikes.
I will never buy a Nissan from Mossy

I take my car for service regularly and there has not been one time I could think where this guy has not come thru with great service… he would keep you informed on the needs your car may have.

Terrible customer service. Seemed like the guy didn’t want to make a sale. I was ready to buy that day pre-​approved and everything. I had a car in mind and the dealer kept ignoring my request to see that and proceeded to show me cars that I told him ahead of time were out of my price range. He didn’t care. Eventually I told him I was done so I left and went to another Nissan dealership where I got the car I wanted for a great price and no problems.

This has nothing to do with their service or their cars. Just the employees here having no souls. I hit a pothole and had to pull in here. I was here with my husband for over an hour and not one employee offered to help us or even acknowledged us in a positive manner. They all stared and acted like we were trash that needed to be moved. It’s obvious they are only interested in dealing with you if you want to buy one of their cars. I know that’s the point of their business but part of being part of a community is helping others and they made it very clear they are only a part of our community for our money.

I have 3 Nissan Vehicles, Altima, Rogue, NV 200, I have been coming for services at Mossy Nissan at Clairemont location.
I get Outstanding service at oil change place specially Thanh Khuu (T.K) always take care of my Vehicles with smile and outstanding Service, if I need to replace Air filter Etc. He does it very professionally with great knowledge of product. Over all he is Awesome!
