Pleasant experience for urgent care. Our son needed his sutures removed and we are 400 miles from our health network. Mercedes and Jamie spent over an hour with our insurance company being passed around from extension to extension. Can’t believe how patient they were and determined to help our situation. Now we can go back to visiting and enjoying our vacation here in San Diego. Thank you so much for being so helpful and patient with us.

I hesitantly came here after being turned away at a different urgent care for not having a physical copy of my insurance (I had all of the information otherwise). I had had a horrible cough for over four weeks and had decided it was enough. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who kindly told me that it was perfectly fine that I didn’t have a copy of my insurance card. It was pretty empty (but maybe it was because I went on a Tuesday night) and I was in and out of there within 30 minutes. Pretty impressive right?! The doctor prescribed me with antibiotics and sent me on my way. I was so pleasantly surprised with all of the staff here and I will come back here for more urgent care needs.

MD Today Urgent Care is new to Carmel Valley and I’m thrilled to have them here in my backyard! Perfect timing to take my son during his bout with the flu. They accept many insurances, but our insurance carrier is not covered there, so we paid out of pocket. They were reasonably priced. Very clean facility. Not a long wait. Reasonable hours and open every day. Mercedes at the front desk was very welcoming and personable! I personally didn’t meet any of the doctors, but, my adult son said the doctor that treated him was caring and thorough. Will definitely utilize this facility again if necessary.

Christian, Jamie and Dr Bailey were nice, knowledgeable and efficient. I was in and out just under one hour (could be slightly quicker). I appreciate that the prescription was emailed to pharmacy.

Awesome staff– both here and at their other location in scripps poway parkway. Unfortunately, this is my 3rd trip in 3 weeks and I’ve never been to an urgent care myself but I’ve heard the horror stories. All three times I was seen within 10 minutes and out within 30. Today they told me they don’t have a contract with anthem blue cross YET but saw me anyways – free of charge. I had no idea I wasn’t being charged until now. Thank you MD Today soooo much for taking care of me!

I am hesitant to write this review for the sake of exposing this brand new amazing MD Today Urgent Care in Carmel Valley area. Was sick over the weekend and needed to find somewhere that was Cigna in-​network and close to home. Noticed the MDTUC in Scripps/​Poway was the only one that popped up in my Cigna directory but found this location by Unilocal!
Showed up right when they opened on a Sat at 8am. Was the only one in the waiting room. Another person showed up right after me. After filling out my paperwork since it was my first visit to MD Today, I was received within minutes.
The staff was awesome! Very helpful and seemed very happy to be working on a Saturday. Dr. Bailey was very thorough and provided me with answers to all my questions. Next thing you know it I was walking out with my prescription looking forward to getting back on my feet.
Highly recommend! I now have my go-​to doctors office. Thanks again Dr. Bailey, Jamie, Tina and Theresa!

The staff and Drs at MD Today are excellent.
From the front desk staff to the medical assistants to the Drs, one could not find better service and care. Dr Jurkowski brings old school doctoring to the community… A doctor who listens to, and cares about the individual. Carmel Valley is fortunate to have this facility on their doorstep.

Took my son in for a medical assessment this past Sunday. Having to deal with kids getting sick is not pleasant but the whole experience was indeed just the opposite! Great location, easy parking. The staff were very friendly and welcoming as well as knowledgeable and professional. Made us both feel at ease and confident with the care he received. Hardly any wait time which was a huge win. This will definitely be my first choice for urgent care in the future. Thanks MD Today!
