Fast in-​n-​out notory service, no appointment needed. $ 10 bucks easy peasy. Great spot to take care of any of your mailing needs. Parking is a bit of a pain so try to avoid lunch or peak hours.

This particular Postal Annex is amazing! I went in last night, exactly one week before Christmas, and had approximately 20 – 30 packages to mail to 9 different addresses. Mark and Kelsy were so efficient, yet personable. You could tell they were really well-​trained and could multi/​task when other clients came in to mail or purchase something. I’ve been to other PA sites; this one, HANDS DOWN is the best!

Have you ever shipped anything to Great Briitain? It’s not easy. The Brits don’t have what we consider real addresses, just property titles. Imagine you wanted to send something to Mr. Darcy from Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. How would you go about explaining to the kindly Postal Annex clerk that «Pemberly» was sufficient for both the house number and the street name? No number just Pemberly. No street, just Pemberly. What of that clerk’s software program, that greedily demands a number? How would the cumbersome feat of working around it’s pre-​ordained rules regarding addresses be… addressed?
Such was my conundrum the other day at the Postal Annex; and I must applaud the patient clerk for not being driven mad by my insistence that such an address was not only real, but perhaps even superior to our own numbered street system. After this experience I shall be making the Postal Annex my preferred method of shipment. Not only were all the clerks I met sincerely helpful, but the store itself carried items I found interesting and relevant.
For example they sell million dollar chocolate bars. No, not literally. The bars themselves are just a few bucks. It is the wrapping that envelopes each bar proclaiming itself as a bill worth that very tidy sum of 1,000,000. They’re so damned entrancing I couldn’t help but purchase a few. Thanks for carrying those, PostalAnnex! They made my day, as did your excellent staff on two separate occasions now.

My wife and I have been renting a box and using the services for a few years. Everyone is efficient, very cordial and have always been willing to go the extra mile.
We have used mailbox services for a very long time and it does not get better than this.

This guy is an absolute hack. Undoubtedly the worst business of any sort that I’ve ever had the experience of stepping into. I would rather walk my package across the country and ship it out of this guys business. I would rather have strep throat, pneumonia, mono, and herpes all the same time and ever given this guy any business ever again.

Not sure I can say anything bad about this particular PostalAnnex… They pretty much do everything you need as far as the mailbox stores are concerned and they do it quickly. People tend to love the PO boxes here and the shipping services pretty much blow USPS out of the water. I have actually shipped several packages from here, gotten passport photos and ordered shipping supplies. The staff is always on point and extremely helpful. High recommend these guys.

When I went to return $ 25 worth product that I purchased, I was told that she only can refund $ 23, instead of $ 25, for debit card swapping fee. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she said that it was my choice because I was returning the product. I was unhappy and told her that I would still want to get the refund even I loose $ 2 and that I would not come back to this store to shop again. She said that she would be fine that I do not go back to shop there again. What kind of customer services? She preferred to keep a couple of dollars and loose a customer.

This postal place kicks the USPS’s arse! They are so helpful and friendly!
Once, I lost an address and remembered I shipped to there from this location once-​I called, they had it on file and saved the day.
Once, I had forgotten to send an important document to my SF office and needed to get it there ASAP. They checked prices across the board… and then actually sent me to the Post Office because it would get there in the same time but would be cheaper. They put my needs above their sales-​solidifying my patronage forever.
Yesterday, I suspected I had over weight Halloween cards to send to my nephews and niece and they weighed them all to make sure they wouldn’t get returned. They did exact postage for me!
5 stars for packages and post! They also still have a fax machine if you and your contacts are in the stone age and your carrier pigeon is broken.
If you need an official signature spotter, they also have notery services onsite, a little gift shops and supplies.

Owner and staff are super friendly and accommodating! Very efficient in what they do whether it involves notary, faxing/​mailing, house-​key-​copying.

I’ve been going there for a while now. I’ve never had any reason to complain. The employees are very courteous. They always greet when I walk in, they are not sitting around so you can expect to be attended to pretty quickly. They will go that extra mile to show you that they care about your business. I remember how one of the girls offered to tape a Medium Flat Rate Box that I was dropping since it was pretty loaded and could have opened in transit. It was really nice and thoughtful of her.
I prefer dropping my USPS packages there than the USPS in the same complex since the overall experience is a lot more pleasant.

I’ve been in this location for a variety of reasons, most recently for Live Scan. Kirk is always friendly and efficient. The staff here is always friendly and helpful as well. They are a busy store but it doesn’t affect the service.
The only downside is the parking lot. It’s a nightmare. I’ve never found a good time to park and avoid the craziness.

The Postal Annex as a chain is pretty good. Certain stores stand out as better and this seems to be one of the better ones, though I did once encounter a less-​than-​helpful staff person who was taking all the mail over to the post office (on the the other side of the plaza) and when I asked him to take the box I was dropping off, he told me to take it myself (kind of annoying, since it was raining and I had my son with me). I went inside the store and dropped it off and they told me it would go out that day, so I guess the guy was making another run, which he could have just told me.
For those who are looking to ship UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc., there _​are_​mark-​ups on all of these services. It would be nice if all of the above simply charged the accounts of the Postal Annex _​less_​ (a volume discount, say) and then let the price be the same to ship there as it is at the PO or FexEx Kinko’s store. I feel bad for these stores because they seem to get a bit screwed because customers get annoyed that their prices are higher than going o the Post Office. Folks, ask yourself how much it is worth it to you to _​not_​stand in line at the Post Office. Suddenly a little mark-​up to help the owners of the Postal Annex make a living doesn’t seem so bad, eh?

This Postal Annex is wonderful! Ricky and his staff go way above and beyond to give you excellent customer service. And of course they charge a fee to mail things — that’s how they earn their keep. You pay for convenience, and you pay to be sure the job is done properly. We have used an array of their services, and when we can afford quality, we always come here, whether it’s for a post office box, sending packages domestically or overseas, notary service — whatever! They truly do everything in their power to help, and are kind, friendly and professional — without fail. The Adams Family

Everyone on staff is very nice and accomodating, which well who doesn’t like some attention even if it’s the kind of attention when you’ve got a question. I only come here to mail things from work, but from the reoccuring customers that come back every other day sure do agree with the fact that this place is run by genuinely all around nice people.

Great staff — all are very friendly and efficient, that goes for everyone all the way to the owner! Always friendly and very customer focused. Lots of services to get done nearly anything you need related to administrative tasks.

Helped with Livescan and CPA application. Also took my passport photo for the application. The staff was cheerful, friendly and helpful.

Although the location is very convenient, I have decided not to patronize this store any longer. They were selling some bottle stoppers and other items in the shape of scantily-​clad women’s torsos. I felt this was very sexist and inappropriate, especially given that I often bring my young daughter in with me. When I complained, I was told that «the owner likes that kind of thing, there have been multiple complaints, but he will not listen or change, so don’t bother.»
So I have taken my business elsewhere. The place near Ralph’s on Del Mar Heights is fast and professional.
