Not a very clean place to eat, tables were filthy & so were the bathrooms! My daughters apples from the kids meal were also sour yuck!!!

Line was long around that as the crew just hanged out. The use of Azodiacarbonamide on the food does not help them either!

I would avoid this McDonalds if you can wait to go to another. They constantly forget items or give you the wrong order. they are also out of items often. The service is always lacking here. It is obvious the employees don’t want to be there and could care less about customers. They are not eager to fix your order the have messed up. Do yourself a favor and just go to another location. You will be disappointed.

I used to come here often, but not so much anymore. This location always screws up my order or forgets the things I’ve ordered after waiting 15 – 20 minutes at the drive thru and I never bother to go back to get what I actually ordered because there’s always weird people inside of this location. Id say its pretty sketchy with all the homeless and punk little kids hanging out by the dumpster in the parking lot.

This place is the worse. I have to pick up lunch or Breakfast for the coworks. Every time it seem I have to walk back because something is wrong. The people work there do not want be there and I can’t blame them. It suck and they have deal with homeless people all day I feel sorry for them. In the long and short of it stay away there are many better place to eat in Hill crest. Even for MD this way blow the bar.

Don’t come here unless you have time… time to sit in the drive through for 10 minutes — and time to drive back once you get home and realize you have stuff missing.

This place just is trashy for being in Hillcrest it’s so out of date the décor and design is lacking taking up prime real estate and only caters to the homeless not the neighborhood that it’s in… Needs to take care of these poor employees who have to work here and multi task as homeless police and food servers. I support the homeless people’s right to spend time here but maybe a nice little grassy knoll on the side could serve this space better than a gross trash littered parking lot. Just sticks out like a sore thumb in Hillcrest. Mcdonalds needs to pay its workers a living wage maybe even support the Fight for $ 15 movement — only then would I consider returning to this place. There are much better places to eat up and down university Ave — Mcdonalds is just a dated out of touch socially irresponsible corporation and unethical bad employer.

Let me tell you this place is a joke I mean it’s amazing people still come to this location, it’s a homeless shelter basically and not only that, I ordered food today and already paid and was waiting they told me they couldn’t make my order because grilled chicken would take 8 mins! What about the 5 mins I have already been waiting what were you doing then? So then she says would you like to wait so I said yes I would because that’s what I ordered. So she had me pull to the side and I waited 14 mins I timed it on my phone. And when she brought me the bag she forget everything else I ordered this place is a joke the girl rolled her eyes at me so I will not be back here!

Well, Micky D’s you blew it! Was in the mood for a Big Mac and decided to hit up the drive thru for a combo on a Sunday evening. Pull up, no line at the drive thru and thought this wads good sign. Well, after waiting to place and order for 5 minutes, decided they either are being held up or they just don’t need my service. Service here is hit or miss but no acknowledgement at the drive thru plus the myriad of homeless people at the store has made me decide to give my business elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and patronize other places or head to the Micky Ds on Texas Street. At least they have a double drive thru and are much more efficient with their service! The McDonald’s on University is a disgrace to the corporation and they should close the place down. Will not be back to this location even though it’s so close. Bottom line, this place sucks !

Came here around midnight as they were about to close the lobby. Service was actually better than expected, definitely one of the better experiences I’ve had at a late night fast food establishment whose customers are mostly intoxicated at that hour. The cashier was very nice, and food came out quickly. The only minor gripe is their register wasn’t giving receipts so you just had to remember your number. Food was hot and freshly cooked. My experience here was just very good to the point where I felt I should review it. Kudos to you McD’s! We need more late night fast food joints to be as efficient as you.

Anytime when I order through a drive-thru and I drive off and notice that there’s a few items missing, that’s when they deserve only one star. Because it’s always a hassle to park and to tell someone of the problem and then you wait. I always cheek to see that the order is complete but for some reason I didn’t this time. My girl went inside with the receipt to claim the missing food and this hispanic lady tells my girl, «well you drove away!» I remember telling the dude«it’s all here, right?» And he answers«YES!» They cant just apologize, no they have to blame you for their stupidity. We all make mistakes but when you try to blame the customer for your fuck-ups, that when the shit flies. The people at the window are extremely slow. They need to look into this. This happened @ 21:557÷24÷15

Yet again they screwed up my order. Why do I bother coming here again? Between dodging the numerous panhandling bums and never getting my order right, I think I’ve finally had it.

You see all these one-star reviews? Yeah, they’re not spies from Taco Bell. This location is legitimately a mess. Pick a word you don’t want to see in a review. Dirty. Slow. Rude. Homeless. Smelly. Inefficient. Unsanitary. Other words you can’t type on Unilocal. This place is all of those. Maybe the worst one I’ve been to. And I’m counting poor parts of Malaysia in that.

McDonald’s, the grandfather of fast food! I will admit I am not a big McDonald’s fan to begin with but as far as stores go, this location is not too shabby. The quality is what you would expect(cheap) but you obviously, you get what you pay for. I do like the layout of this place, it’s descent for fast food standards. I also found the customer service satisfying as well. I usually do not hold an establishment accountable for its patrons unless it is just too difficult to ignore and for this McDonald’s, there are just way too many homeless people camped in here doing absolutely nothing. When you only have bums sitting in your establishment, there’s something wrong. Overall, this McDonald’s is ok and if you’re an avid fast food junkie, then I’d say you’ll be satisfied with this store.

I’ll admit that I’m not a huge fan of McDonald’s. However, I cannot deny that they have very good coffee. And having a coupon for a McCafe made it that much more enticing to visit. Buy ONE get the second FREE. I did the drive through for convenience on a Saturday morning. No trash around, flowers blooming around the drive through, and there was no line. The girl taking my order was polite, and friendly. As I drive up to pay, the same girl was just as friendly in person as over the speaker. At the second window, I receive my 2 drinks. Just right! I say that, because I ordered an additional shot of espresso in one of the McCafe. Leaving this McDonald’s, I did not understand why this location received such a poor rating. My experience was positive! I would return for coffee, definitely! Thank you!

Okay. So in the past few years I feel like this location has really improved. It’s still the cheapest in the 92103, 92104, 92101 zip codes. The staff is revolving, as to be expected, but everyone is pretty nice. I’ve been pretty happy about my order temperatures and consistencies etc. It can get busy, but it’s rare that I wonder if it will impede my schedule. Esp because I’m habitually late. In fact, if I am running late and I have to get food, 9 times out of 10 I will choose this location because it’s consistently steady. I’ve also been pretty happy with Monopoly(at least this year) because I often get a free something. Now, when I win Monopoly this place will get a 5 plus plus plus plus stars. ;-)
