Dr. Elnaggar did a great diagnosis on pesky wisdom tooth and recommended extraction. Im very hesitant on things of this nature but am glad I trusted him. He had that tooth numbed up in a couple minutes and pulled tooth out complete 5minutes later. After not sleeping last night and feeling pain beyond my tolerance level, Im feeling so much better! Thanks Doc and thanks Brenda for going to bat for me with ITEX payment.

I’ve been putting off having dental work done due to horrible experiences with previous dentists. One tooth got to the point of needing work done immediately and I found Reidler through my insurance. I am so glad I did! It was so easy to make an appointment, they got me in next day first thing in the morning! The front staff as well as the rest of the staff I met was very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I highly recommend for you dentist fearing like me.

Great dentist (Dr Riedler). Easy to get an appointment and has always been on time.
I was new to town and was looking for a dentist to fix my chipped tooth. Previously had it bonded a few times at other dentists and it’s been getting worse to the point that bonding wont hold. He suggested a crown and gave me a very fair price. When my temporary crown fell off they were able to get me in right away, and it just so happened my perm crown was ready to install the same day. Couldn’t have been easier. I am very pleased with the service.

Would I recommend Dr Riedler to a friend? YES
He’s one smart cookie and I love not leaving the dentist broke! (Who doesn’t?)
They’re fairly efficient (every dentist I’ve ever been to has ALWAYS overbooked at least a bit.)

Dr. Riedler is an exceptional dentist who knows what he is doing and will treat you as he would his own friends and family. When I was about 7 years old (27 years ago) I knocked one of my front teeth halfway out. Dr. Riedler was set to go camping with his son (it was a Saturday) when my mom called with the emergency situation. Dr. Riedler placed his trip on hold for an hour or two while my mom took me to his office for the root canal and temporary crown. I could go on and on with the list of dental items he has attended to for me. I am surprised to see he is still in business and I wish my family lived closer to San Diego so I could take my children there.

Today was my first visit this clinic as they accept Denti-​cal. Even though I have a very limited income, the staff are very kind to me and didn’t chastise me for being ‘one of those patients’. Look up reimbursement rates for services and you’ll understand why nobody accepts Denti-​cal; they make pennies on the dollar for services performed.
Setting up my appointment was very easy and fast with the usual paperwork for first time patients. The office would be listed as ‘used in good condition’ if it was to be sold on Amazon and I think it could use some love. The equipment is indeed dated, but it still works just as well as the new technology so I personally see no need to fix something that isn’t broken.
My visit was for x-​rays and treatment plan and as such I was having quite a bit of anxiety about showing my messed up teeth. When the doctor came in and introduced himself he didn’t talk about my teeth until he reviewed my file including allergies, procedures/​surgery, medications, before taking a look at my x-​rays and mouth. As soon as I opened up though he adjusted that horrid spotlight on my jacked up grill and said, «Oh, that’s not that bad! You made it sound so much worse than it is.» That actually gave me hope that all was not lost and indeed the plan he wrote up supports his conclusion. (2 Fillings with a possibility of a root canal due to how deep it is, a good cleaning, and a future crown for an exiting root canal number 31)
Overall, after my first visit I understand why some might have issues with how the office is set up given that everyone in the waiting room can hear the exact details about one’s treatment. But, the staff I interacted with today were kind and accommodating. Plus, the dentist and staff didn’t humiliate me for asking for a gold crown. In fact, they agreed with me that the gold crowns are much better than the porcelain and other materials. Hell, the dentist said that he can cut the silver crowns with a scissor.
TL;DR Aging office, good staff, excellent communication with patients, and they accept Medi-​cal/​Denti-​cal.

This places loves my money more than I love my money.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, take care of your teeth. Otherwise you’re going to be paying for it for the rest of your life.
Staff is friendly.
Office is clean.
Appointments are always on time.
Just watch out for the other dentist that works here… he can be aggressive while working in your mouth.

So I see Dr. Elnaggar. Let me begin: I grew up with a serious fear of dentistry. Mean dentists treated me as a child. So upon finding out that my insurance would NOT cover sleep dentistry (ugh, iiinsurance) I did some research and took a chance picking this office.
My first visit the assistant asks me if something is wrong– fear is shining bright on my face apparently. I tell her I scare easy at the dentist, and she tells the dentist. So when Dr. Elnaggar arrives in, he is the gentlest voice and mildest demeanor and I AM IMMEDIATELY relieved! Hallelujah! He takes the time to explain any and everything he is planning, and then my 3 fillings and one extraction (ya, I know– less than perfect teeth) are done so well. No recovery time! Such good work!
I give the place 4 stars, because the service and work done here is amazing– Buuut, I always wait! Like, for awhiiile. The ladies at the front are always nice, but I WAIT. However, for a dentist that doesn’t belittle me, and doesn’t leave me in crazy pain, for THAT I WILL WAIT!

Began seeing this group in Jan of 2015, only because my insurance changed and my current dentist didn’t accept it. Staff, overall, are not professional in demeanor or actions. I did actually see Dr Riedler once, when he did my initial exam. Nice guy, seemed thorough. We talked about replacing my upper partial denture and I wanted to have the same type (cast metal device) as my current one. On my way out, the staff discussed pricing of various options, ranging from about $ 400 to $ 2000. I scheduled the cleaning for a second appointment. At that time, a different dentist was involved and we started the impressions, etc and i made a partial payment. On the 3^rd visit, the same unknown dentist continued the fitting of the partial. After we were done, I asked him to confirm that what I was getting was the equivalent of my current appliance, and he said no, it was a basic acrylic thing. I pushed back and told him that all along I have been saying I wanted the same type of appliance. He fumed and I said that there must be a language issue because they didn’t understand what I wanted and they didn’t do a good job communication with me. He yanked his mask down and leaned into me and said that he was the professional and it wasn’t his fault that I didn’t understand. I told him to step back, that I didn’t appreciate his tone or his words, and that he worked for me, not the other way around. He stormed out. 5 minutes later the office manager came in and we talked, and she patiently explained all the dental jargon to me so that I finally understood what was what. I said I wanted to speak with my previous dentist, since the device I wanted ($ 2000) wasn’t covered and if he would do it for the same price I would just go there for this work. We agreed that I would call their office back within 3 working days to let them know whether or not to proceed with the acrylic appliance. This was on Wednesday. On Saturday, 5/​9, I received a letter from them firing me, and a refund of the money I had spent so far. I would not recommend this dentist office for any services.

The dentists are awesome. Very gentle and caring. They listen to you and your comfort is their priority and you see it. They don’t try to rush you out and will take the time necessary for your care. This is the first time in a very long time, that my gums are healthy and I was not apprehensive for my check up.

I don’t want to give him even one star but I have to hit the star to be able to post mu review.

the office is old but comfortable, the work provided is fine, no complaints, in fact very pleased with the work.. BUT trying to make an appointment is a nightmare. Standing around waiting to make a new appointment after work is completed, waiting so I leave and decide do call and make an appointment by phone. BIG MISTAKE, called and placed on hold for more than 2 minutes. hung up few minutes later called back and put on hold again. Hung up and called back a few minutes later. placed on hold again, this time I waited and finally got someone and told her I wanted to schedule an appointment, she said she needed to pull my file and placed me on hold, more than two minutes, furious I hung up.
A few minutes later she called me, I said I didn’t understand why it took more than two minutes to pull a file which is 3 feet away from them???
This place needs to get into the 21^st century, there is a thing called a computer in case they are not aware.

I love Dr. Reidler is the best. He’s been my doctor since I was a kid and he has always been kind and helped me with my dental care.

Caveat: I did *not* get dental service, but attempted to set up an appointment with Dr Riedler specifically, which was declined. I offered to take the appointment far out into the future, but was told it would not matter, that Dr. Riedler is only performing root canals.
After reading many reviews of the office, I concluded that most of the low ratings focused on experiences with other dentists in the office other than with Dr. Riedler.
Since I know I don’t need a root canal, I am seeking other options.

Run away!!! Disaster!
If your health is important to you stay away by all means from this clinic, and especially from that «Dr» Khaled Elnaggar (who is an associate there) — he is not a Dentist– he is a BUTCHER!!! Worst dentist I ever met.
I made an appointment with Dr. Riedler, waited two hours (2 hours!!), been moved from this room to that room, and then the assistant said that «Riedler is not in today» and I will be seen by Khaled Alnaggar (and only now they «remember» to tell me??). So that Khaled Elnaggar is trying to generate more work on my case and violently poking my (healthy) gums determining they are all bad with deep pockets etc etc (wait– I come for a broken tooth, and he is looking for a complete mouth job? Not in your life butcher, not with you…).
I had to stop his violent pocking on my gums, teeth, inside my broken cavity and straight into the nerve, and inside my tongue (yes, he punctured violently my tongue in two places! And it was bleeding crazy) — I had to run away…
Immediately I got up and left this screwed up place, without ability to eat or talk for two days. I will file a legal complaint. I am not sure this butcher even licensed here in CA; surely it seems that where he comes from they may have other practices; maybe with hammers and chisels.
Conclusion– Read Unilocal reviews! Mostly the negative ones (as positives could be just paid off). I have seen bad reviews on him before, and thought I will ignore it. What a Mistake!
This So-​called Dentist is THE WORST DENTIST! This clinic has bad and shady practices and you will spend half day there just to encounter the worst dentist– RUN!

I have never seen Dr. Riedler himself. I see his associate in the office, and I couldn’t tell ya what is his name is. The technician is always really nice and sets me up with a blanket if the office is cold and my bid while we wait for the doctor to come in. Once there, I see him for the aprox 12 minutes it takes from him to pick at all my teeth and do the cleaning and then he is off to the next room.
Afterwards, the technician will do the polishing, final rinse and get me a tiny cup of fluoride. I hate doing the swish of fluoride. Absolutely hate it. The fact that it is an additional $ 15 bucks makes me want to not do it, but I’m not the doctor.
My insurance (HMO _​I think) covers most of the visit but their $ 5 fee and an extra $ 15 for a tiny shot glass of fluoride. Is this standard practice? I have no idea. Before coming to this office 7 months ago I hadn’t been to the dentist for longer than I want to admit by putting it in writing but I do remember the only thing we had to pay for were upgrades on fillings and not the visit.
Lucky for me, I had no new cavities and $ 20 twice a year is still a bargain in my book for making sure my pearly whites don’t fall out before 50.
Easy to make appointments, easy to find, easy enough parking (street) and quick painless visits. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment in 6 months.

Both Husband and I have been coming here since 2004. Up until 2011, we’d just been using them to get our teeth cleaned. Since then, Husband has gotten a crown (including an emergency appointment after he’d been having issues with it), and I’ve had a wisdom tooth extracted after an infection.
Their office is sufficient (yes, it’s dated, so -.5 stars) and everyone that we’ve dealt with has been friendly, straightforward and knowledgeable.
I straight up high fived the dentist upon the completion of my wisdom tooth extraction because it was so quick and painless. I bet that’s never happened to him. In fact, I probably could’ve gone back to work after the procedure (I just received a local), but I’d already used my sick hours, so ran errands instead!
Thing is, no one wants to go to the dentist. It sucks, it’s uncomfortable, you don’t wanna be told what you’re doing wrong with your dental care. I even tried out a couple other dentists for my cleanings since 2004, (once in 2006 and again in 2008) just to see what else is out there. Both of the other dentists told me, pretty much, that all my fillings were going to fall out RIGHT NOW. Oh, and that’ll cost $ 200 after your insurance.
But then I get my x-​rays done here, they tell me all is fine.
So, not only do we receive satisfactory, and sometimes outstanding, service, we don’t waste our money here, too.

I was finally able to see a dentist after quite some time without insurance. After my X-​rays I sit in the room for quite awhile. One of the staff continuously walks through (without ever speaking) to another room where someone is having a procedure. Every single time she does, she leaves the connecting door wide open.
Finally the dentist comes in, not Dr. Riedler, and begins the examination. His demeanor was tolerable. I had one tooth that I just knew was going to have to come out, (I lost half of it after some Laffy Taffy pulled out the filling), but am told that all I need is 3 root canals. I was in excruciating pain constantly and there was no way I could afford those procedures. Besides, HALF THE TOOTH WAS GONE. I insisted that he just pull it out.
That was when everything changed. He became extremely rude and heavy handed. There were at least four times that he grabbed my chin and snatched my face in his direction during the extraction. A simple «turn your head towards me» or even a light touch was all that was needed. He almost got a knee jerk reaction in the form of a fist to his throat.
If that wasn’t bad enough, I think they are padding their prices. I was told that a root canal and crown would cost about $ 750 per tooth. When I got my booklet from my insurance the numbers added up to about half of that.
As of today, I am no longer a patient of this office and would never recommend anyone become one.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Riedler for many years and have had positive experiences each time. He is honest. gives options and choices, and is able to accommodate same day appointments for emergencies. The ladies that work with him are kind and sweet, remembering you from past visits. Our four year old has been to him three times now and keeps asking to go visit him so she can bring him pictures she’s drawn. She looks forward to her balloon at the end of the visit. The only downside to the office is that there are not many kid friendly things to play with while we wait. But other than that, A+ service.
Oh, and I forgot to mention… My husband has been TERRIFIED of dentists for over 30 years, and this is the first dentist that he feels comfortable with. We used to have to give him muscle relaxants, antianxiety pills, and laughing gas. Now… he just needs Dr. Riedler.
Edit: After having to go to another dentist for an emergency, I was able to see and compare to what is being used in current dentistry. Dr. Riedler and his staff are great, but having dental cameras helps to explain and understand what is going on with my teeth. Plus his hours are limited and does not offer evenings and weekend appointments. Other places offer tvs to watch while you wait and are more kid friendly.
