Mariscos “El Chuy”

Happened to be driving on Imperial and saw this seafood truck next to J&J Mart. Decided to drop by (there is parking conveniently located behind the store). It turns out that the truck opened last week. Tried the fish taco for $ 0.99 which was delicious. Added the chipotle sauce that they have in the cooler (it elevated the taco to a whole different level). My boyfriend ordered the marlin taco (kind of like fajitas, marlin fish with veggies. There was melted cheese at the bottom). I also had a clamato mixto (it’s a tomato-​clam juice; they add seafood to it). For any of you that like micheladas, this is the dish for you. Chuy (the owner) gave us a complimentary consome (seafood stew broth) as we waited for our food. Everything was really good. It is a food truck, so keep in mind that there is very limited seating.
